IF YOU NEED TO GET A HOLD OF THE CLINICAL DIRECTOR HER EXTENSION IS 260. It was the only extension I was given during a family members questionable stay here. If you care about your loved ones don't bring them here. No one would answer questions, we were lied to during the entire process, the provider couldn't even keep my family members file correct (frequently referenced another patients story instead of theirs), they act like they care but in reality it's about how much they can make off you. Group therapies do not exist. They meet once a day and are given a hand out, and that's group therapy. Not to mention my family member was able to pick up a pen and keep it in their property the entire time there. Sounds REALLY safe for someone who might be suicidal. Oh, and good luck trying to get a hold of a loved one. No one gets their messages in there.

I was forced to stay here for five days. Anything about a 72 hour hold is a lie. And if you’re admitted on the weekend? (God forbid Saturday morning) it doesn’t count toward the 72 hours, so you’re hostage there an extra 2 days. Some of the staff there are really caring (Roxanne, ayeesha, cheyannne (and more) but don’t have much of an authority over anything. No visitors allowed due to covid is just cruel and only 2 working phones, the other 2 are broken. No therapy is provided during your stay just a referral to one when you’re discharged. The food was absolutely foul, and this place has the audacity to cost $990 per day. If it weren’t for the few nice techs and nurses, I’d give one star. But I know they try their best in that disgusting place. Please do not send your loved ones here or voluntarily check yourself in. The 2 nurse practitioners in charge (mike and rayani) will keep you there for a least 5 days to collect the $990 per day from your insurance money then write prescriptions and try to force you to take them. No actual doctors there, no psychiatrists either. Just nurses and social workers in charge. Also, you are mixed in with people with psychosis, it doesn’t matter if you’re “normal” they treat everyone the same, no real help provided. I don’t see how keeping you locked away from your loved ones during your forced stay there is supposed to help you improve your condition. But you have to place nice, smile, eat the food, socialize, and take the meds in order to be released. 2/10 would not recommend.

This place should be shut down. It's astonishing how many people all say the same horrible things and the state and local gov just keeps this place open. I came to write a review about how they treated my loved one but it seems it's regular practice to treat people inhumane and without compassion or kindness. Just see the review below about his wife.. They treat EVERYONE like that. It is closer to a insane asylum than anything medical or holistic. Only send a person here that you dislike! NOT recommended. I see why the owner doesn't have a pic on here lol I'd hide too buddy. Shame on you all....it's sick. A facility that makes people WORSE is worthless.

My brother was sadly sent here twice. Both times were absolutely horrible. It makes my heart hurt to think they treat patients and families the way they do. He was unable to get his antidepressant that he is prescribed. Anyone who has been on antidepressants knows that you can’t just stop taking them without serious side effects. Both times my brother was in there my parents tried repeatedly to call and never could get anyone to answer or call back. My mother finally went down and sat until someone was willing to talk to her. She took my brother clothes that he never received. He and my mother both said how freezing cold it was in there. This place needs to be investigated and shut down. You would never treat a heart or cancer patient like this. It is sickening to me that this place is allowed to still be operating.

I originally forgot to share my experience as a vistor but here it is. I visited this facility on 09/24/23 around 3pm to see a loved one and was barely in the door before I was met with rudeness and turned around. The woman at the front desk will answer no questions on visitation rules or times and barely let's you speak before she shows you the door to leave. I understand being overworked but how can anyone figure out how to properly see their loved one if staff can't be bothered to even speak to you. I Went back fingers crossed the next day 9/25 that someone new would be at the desk and there was! She was very helpful and nice!

Admitted there in early May due to my increasing mental health symptoms. I did not have any kind of problems while there until the last 2 days. One patient was very upset over something and randomly slammed my door open as aggressively as he could. Later, as I was waiting to speak to a nurse, the same patient came up to me, grabbed my arm and starting hitting me for no reason at all. I was also having difficulties being in this kind of environment due to the constant screaming and conflicts among patients and nurses. In the middle of the night, I went up to the nurses station as all of them were conversating amongst themselves for 10 minutes before they asked what I needed. With absolutely no kind of attitude or nervousness, I kindly asked if there was a way to leave the hospital if I had my parents or brother sign for custody of my well being. The nurse (who I had gotten along with fine before this occurrence), instead of just saying no aggressively said "no, but if you don't calm down you will be staying extra days". After taking to several other doctors and nurses they said they she does not have authority to do that. Hearing that from the nurse triggered a panic attack kept me from falling asleep or keeping calm for several hours. Another nurse the next day took vitals and asked if I was upset recently because my blood pressure had gone up a lot. This was due to both experiences While I got along with everyone else fine, and all the other patients and workers were very kind and helping, those 2 experiences are completely uncalled for especially as patients are admitted to receive help to balance things out. Its not difficult to notice when a patient is being violent especially right in front of the nurses desk and for a nurse to show a little compassion without attitude towards a patient nicely asking for help I have since filed 2 complaints with Mount Carmel with no kind of response.

Im an 18 year old highschooler who came here to get help for my mental health but ultimately left with a worse headspace than when i came. The nurses get paid to sit around and mock patients all day. i came in to get help for my depression and was not put in the depression unit, instead i was put in the unit with people who have severe psychosis/scizhophrenia. i felt completely unsafe in this enviornment due to the fact that these patients would scream, verbally abuse and even get violent. when situations like this would happen the nurses would barely look up from their phones to help. there was no therapist or counselor, the doctors were absent many days at a time and social workers were unhelpful. after my 5 minute conversation with the doctor, i was prescribed lexipro. a medication i had never taken before. this medication made me feel foggy and disoriented. this place is completely unsafe and has left me traumatized. there needs to be an investigation done on this place or a lawsuit filed against it. shut it down.

I was recently discharged from here. Most of the staff were really great and went out of their way to help. People have to remember that this is a short term mental health facility designed to keep you safe and get you the referrals and appointments you need, as well as, medications until you see an outside psychiatrist. I know some people don't like that they can't go home when they want, but it's for your own safety. I was voluntary and still had to stay a week. I was ok and I'm alive and got the meds and outside therapy that I needed. The facility is very clean.

This place is trash. My beloved one was admitted to this place and was never able to be seen by an actual psychiatrist because they do not have one! All they have is a nurse practitioner and one of the nurses even had the nerve of telling me: "its not a doctor doctor but is like a doctor" I played dumb because all I wanted was to take my relative out of there as soon as possible. The visitation "hour" is just 30 min on a stinky room with sticky floors, food is of a terrible quality and not nutritious at all. Most of the staff is rude specially the front desk lady and they never want to personally inform you of anything, thry don't answer your messages back unless you start some drama. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER.

I was sent on a 72-hour hold. On my second day (after not seeing a doctor, therapist, or social worker) I was given a bill for a 5-day stay and made to sign a promissory note for the balance owed. I was never given an identifying wristband so I had no idea who my doctor would be. It took 30 hours for Dr. Rayani to finally see me and she didn't even bother to take off her coat for the session. The nurse who took me for blood work stuck me with the SAME needle three times and never successfully drew blood so she gave up. Each time I approached the nurse's station I could see the staff actively trying to avoid making eye contact so they wouldn't have to interact. One morning, I noticed both techs playing games on their phones while I tried to ask for towels so I could shower. On the third day, the public water pitcher was removed and we were told we would have to ask for a cup of water each time we wanted one. Good luck with that since the staff made sure to warn us to stay back from the station and not hover. I doubt they were worried about being called out as their badges were worn behind their elbows and the print was too small to see from a safe distance. My husband and I left messages for the patient advocate, Holly Brown, while I was there and neither of us got a reply. There was information on the wall about contacting the Ohio Department of Health to file a complaint. I did exactly that when I got home only to find out that the ODH doesn't even have jurisdiction over the facility. There was NOTHING therapeutic about my treatment. We were lucky to get one group session per day, maybe two, even though the calendar we were given stated three to four per day. One day we got nothing. There were violent patients throwing chairs and threatening bodily harm to other patients. Trying to sleep was done at your own peril. I've been home for almost two weeks and I'm still having nightmares. I know I'll never be the same again.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! My aunt reached out 72 hours ago having mental & suicide ideations. Her experience was TRAUMATIC! This is the first time she’s ever reached out. I cannot believe y’all treated her the way you did. I wouldn’t suggest y’all to anyone. If you have a loved one do not let them go there.

Terrible money hungry place. Lucky to get 1 group a day. Staff stole some of my cigarettes. That's just for starters, I won't continue. Would I ever go back? Only if I wanted to see how much pain and suffering I could endure.

I was discharged a couple days ago on Saturday. This is the most kind and caring facility that cares about patients well being. My husband had a health scare and I rushed to him when I could. Please don't laugh but I felt safe, secure and happy at this facility. After my husband was able to go his abuse got a lot worse

If zero stars was an option, that would be my review. This facility is a complete joke. Do NOT send your loved ones here for help, because they apparently cannot provide that. Patient was admitted and prescribed medication… they released him today without giving medication. They lost ALL of his personal belongings. 6+ outfits, shoes, house and car keys. We had to ask the next day, after he was admitted why he had not been given his clothes and was instead wearing their paper scrubs and they did finally give him one outfit. This was Wednesday, Friday morning he was still in the same outfit they gave him Wednesday. The current supervisor is completely clueless. After our first visit and interacting with staff I thought the current reviews may be wrong, but that was not the case. If someone you love needs treatment, do not send them here. Please look elsewhere for their sake and your own.

This place is just there for the insurance money. Overmedicating people. Not attending to patients letting them scream until they hurt themselves. The advocate for the patient is a joke. If you want to traumatize your family or your enemy send them here

no wonder this place has a 1.7 star rating.. i had an absolutely terrible experience here- all the way from being fed RAW meat, nurses trying to fight me, being diagnosed and given meds based off a 3 minute conversation (no exaggeration), being cutoff and dismissed by a psychiatrist while trying to vent, nurses ignoring patients to be on their phone, and just an overall lack of care for their patients. i cant even speak on the other patients experiences that i witnessed.. there is absolutely nothing reconstructive about this facility, no kind of groups or therapy is offered, they’re literally just there to babysit and ensure you take your medication. i left this place more traumatized than i was when i went in. if you’re struggling & want help, do not go to Mount Carmel Behavioral Health

Took my wife here due to bad panic attacks. She came and signed in of her on recognizance then we got a call her aunt was dying. Called her and informed her she said she had been there 8 hours no doctors none of her normal meds and they said that they couldn't release her even though her aunt might pass and said "if you knew she was sick why would you come in" will be filing with OMBUDS. Never take a loved one here no help just a locked room and no medicine

Was put on 72 hour hold but was forced to stay a week, no cell phone privileges or time allowed outside. Showers were hot enough to leave burns on my skin. Staff was judgemental and constantly shaming people for needing this type of help. Outpatient program is lacking to say the least. Food was decent. Put me on meds that threw me into a manic episode and called me cured. If you have a choice don't stay here.

My wife was sent here out of the ER. One of the ambulance drivers were so rude that he told her she took the wrong prescription to take her life and she should have used something better. She was only supposed to be on 72 hour hold and today makes 5 days. I’ve called countless times with only ever getting ahold of a person one time. I have tired to get our FMLA papers filled out since day one. Both myself and my wife asking. I do not recommend this place and never will. If I had known I would have put up a fight about her going the this facility.

This place may be double dipping on payment for services of you or your loved ones. If you have MEDICARE and/or MEDICAID your insurance should pay! If you receive a bill months or nearly a year later like my loved one did, report this entity to the OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL immediately to ensure no fraudulent activity is taking place and you or your loved one are not being targeted because you may have a mental health diagnosis. Often vulnerable populations are scammed as some believe mental illness means Oh they have no intellect. Do not pay any bill this place sends you or a loved one if you have insurance especially MEDICARE as primary. These doctors will try to slick and send separate bills knowing it’s wrong. Report them to IRS as well and have them audited!

My father has been here for approximately two weeks after a transfer and I am his caregiver. I have left numerous voicemails to reach someone because he states he has signed releases, still no one has reached out. They provide numbers on their website which renders them unreachable if you call because it just kicks you to a voicemail, that no one can seem to answer. If you press option one, you could be transferred out to a third party in Tennessee that answers. I’ve never seen anything like it at all. My family and I are completely concerned about him due to this. I’ve only been able to reach one person who stated a supervisor would get ahold of me, still nothing. What are you doing for a disabled veteran who risks homelessness, repeat admissions, etc? There has been no reaching out to his next of kin/POA or caregiver to update or coordinate.

I don't wish for loved one to be treated at that place. Reception is not in their post all the time, and they are not trained on how to help when family members come to see their loved ones. For sure they are some good nurses and doctors .

First off, get over the fact that you were committed against your will. You probably needed it. I politely interacted with the staff, and I ALWAYS got what I needed. When someone threatened me, and I felt unsafe, they handled it ASAP. The food was decent, though sometimes too carb-heavy for me as a diabetic. The facility is clean. My doctor and social worker were nice. I finally got the right diagnosis and meds.Your stay is a period to DECOMPRESS. Be grateful for it. Shout out to Miss Sam the Nurse and Volleyball Sam from Eastern Michigan U!!!

The front office and the back office has different rules . I was told I could not see my medical records. Even though I do have a right to correct or dispute any incorrect info. They are severely understaffed. They just sat and watched and young lady have a breakdown. People are treating poorly. They refused necessary medical attention for a patient with chest pain s. Please if you care for your loved ones find somewhere else. Only one group therapy was offered. Truly a horrible experience, lack of help. I tried to contact the patient advocate 3 times with no response. Also they need a clock that works like the same clock everyone else uses. It appears they can add days with no notice or explanation. I asked to see a copy of the complaint (I was not pink slipped). Was told No. I will address this matter up to a higher level. Hopefully they change or close down completely. Along with all this, my medication ( the one they did have) was changed without discussing it with the prescribing physician. They had no clue what my condition was, but again felt the need to change it. They called himself a hospital, but didn’t have the medication‘s there. It took multiple days to finally get my medication back On track. Close this place down or get more staff and get more educated staff. I am fully aware of HIPPA compliance, Laws, , and watch staff talk about other patients and laugh at them in front of everyone.

My wife was recently discharged from this facility. Main concerns was not being able to speak with anyone at the facility by phone. No one ever answers and even after leaving several messages, no one returns your calls. You have to physically go to the facility to speak to anyone. Visiting hours are 2-4pm so not very helpful for those of us that work day shift. Lack of communication is a major concern. Also, my wife left the facility no better than when she went in. She required readmission only two days after leaving andI made sure she wasn't transferred back to MCBH. She had one word to describe the facility.. 'A Prison'

Mark Stoof has been absolutely amazing in meeting the needs of our assessment team. He has taken the time to understand the process and dedicated himself to finding the quickest and best solutions to our dilemmas. He understands that our individuals and their care is our number one priority and he has done everything to accommodate. I can not thank him and Mt Carmel intake team enough!

Strike 3: The Dr. was told the patient has had multiple syncope episodes with seizure activity which has not been determined to be linked to Abilify and his routine practitioner was monitoring him on lower dose to ensure no seizure activity. Dr Rayani disregarded this notice and keeps dose of Abilify higher than suggested by patient’s community psychiatric provider. Then threatens to probate patient if he refuses to sign in voluntarily and immediately take an Abilify injectable? Several complaints have been filed Strike 2… Threatening to “section” a patient if they do not agree to the form of treatment a practitioner recommends is illegal. If oral meds are preferred by a patient vs injection it is the patient right. Threatening to probate a patient on 72 hour hold if they do not sign in voluntary and take injection is questionable behavior. Complaints now exist with HHS and alternate external entity that investigates emotional abuse and coercion. This practitioner stated “complain to who you want” and this as a patient advocate - most definitively did! Strike 1: Up until JAMETRIA answered like she was on her cell not a business, with an in-tactful approach my view of this entity was positive. Andrea and a couple other nurses are superb and have kept me in the loop of care with respect to my loved one. He has not had complaint when he calls as he has had full access to a phone over the weekend. It is employees such a JAMETRIA a bad Apple, yay will have the entire entity shown in poor light.

I felt as if I was being blamed for my abuse and addiction. I also kept asking for help with my trauma and PTSD but the only thing she would do is talk about my day, even after I said it wasn't helpful. I wish I could give a zero star review.

Mount Carmel Board of Directors, Are you ok with theses review? Would you eat at a restaurant that gets 1.7 stars? Would you even use the restroom there? I don’t think so. You can tell yourself that these people are “crazy” and ignore their feedback, or you can actually be a compassionate human being, and do something about this. It’s up to you. They are gonna keep abusing these people until you put an end to it. Ignoring the problem, makes you complicit. I would not want that on my conscience. I know you think you are doing good, but you are the problem. It’s starts and end with you. PLEASE HELP THESE PEOPLE 🙏🏼 One Love ❤️

I’ve been in six psych wards. This is the worst. Not by a little, by a lot. If you were to take the ten worst things that happened to me in a psych ward, about eight were at this one place, two at the other five. I heard and saw things in there I’ll never forget. It’s worse, by far, than either of the two jails I’ve been in. I had $150 cash stolen from my wallet when they checked it in. I swear. I’ve eaten much, much better food out of dumpsters than in there. I’m a pretty hard dude. I’ve done shelters, jails, wards, halfway houses, living on the street, but this is really the worst place I’ve spent a week of my life. My “doctor” wore “jewelry” so tacky a ninth grader from south Chicago would have teased him. If you’re looking for somewhere to take a loved one, take them ANYWHERE else. Even if that’s a homeless shelter. And any five star review you see about this place is FAKE!

This place is disorganized, does not know how to cook food (serving frozen still food) and did not accomidating nicely to vegetarians. They did not have support staff, and visiting is only a half hour. They also dont have an actual doctor and visits with the one sudo doctor was not even 5 mins. They also did not have a therapist. This place is horrible do not take anyone here and do not admit yourself here.

This place has serious medical staffing and funding issues. The 3rd shift Staff sucks a** except for Ms Moma, Mr Thomas Ms Tawana. There communication and dissemination of information about what they tell you what assistance and or advocacybyou as a patient for whatever will receive circumstances that you are there needs drastic improvement. The social workers I encountered were problematic and showed preferential treatment from white female patients to black female patients. White female patients were excused in calling black female patients racial epithets. There was one particular Caucasian female patient that was prejudice and racist that was being damn near allowed to have power and control over the unit near running the unit by being manipulative threatening to fight other A.A.W staff and patients and trying to bully and threatens patients she felt she could bully and she even threw her breakfast muffins against the cafeteria wall because she was throwing some mini tantrum and it was acceptable and that very ignorant combative disruptive behavior was allowed to be condoned which affected the rest and wellness of the other female patients. There were some other positives like the meals were pretty good especially the egg whites for breakfast the vegan sandwiches and the hamburgers and hot dogs were good just two of the female cafeteria attitudes are disrespectful when you are trying to gain clarity on the dietary and nutrition

Stay away! My experience felt like torture. I have never had a hospital experience so terrifying and damaging to my mental health.I am still having nightmares almost nightly a year later. This facility ruined my quality of life. When I came in I was denied my regular seizure/pain medicines for almost 3 days. Staff members would curse and demean me during seizures, slam doors, kick and throw things, grab me, and leave me in bed, restrained, with soiled clothes/bedding. Staff refused to contact my psychiatrist, therapist, or neurologist to confirm my diagnoses and made regular threats to do unspeakable things if I attempted to contact them. I was not allowed any of my accessibility equipment so I fell frequently and could hardly eat, breathe or bathe myself. Staff took my glasses away as punishment which I never got back. My psychiatrist was the one who finally helped transfer me to the toilet and find clean clothes and bedding for me after I had begged the staff on the unit for days. I left with several infections from being left in my own urine and feces which required weeks of antibiotics. Serious concerns: - Staff will get physically violent and use illegal methods such as "isolation rooms", 5-point restraints, harsh over medication (5 injections of Haldol at once, entire vial of Zyxprexa, etc) - Staff are usually aggressive, unavailable and will not inform your doctor or loved ones of your care - Staff will make racist/ableist/homophobic comments and body shame - Dietary needs (even allergies) are ignored - Groups are only held once every few days - No family/individual counseling - Psychiatry/Social Work appointments are less than 5 minutes and only once every few days All in all, for every 1 helpful staff member there are 100 cruel ones. I would avoid this hospital at all costs especially if you or your loved one are disabled/LGBT/minority etc. I deeply hope the few helpful staff members can get far away from here! The rest are sadistic monsters!

My mother was recently discharged from this facility and if I could rate them less than 1 star I would. As someone who works in healthcare I am appalled by the lack of communication and discharge planning. It took 4 days, 6 voicemails, and 1 email before I received a call back from anyone on my mothers medical team. During that one call I was assured I would be called daily with updates and notified prior to her discharge. Two days then went by without a call. I called the facility again and was told someone would call me back. The next call I received was not from the facility but from my mothers landlord letting me know that she was home. Her mental state is not any better than it was when she went into this facility, and they would know that if they bothered communicating with me. They discharged a mentally unstable woman into an unsafe situation and should be held liable should anything happen to her. I truly cannot believe that her medical team thought a discharge was appropriate and then to not include her family in the planning process is medical negligence.

Well, I’m updating my review of this place. My brother was transported there yesterday afternoon. He was sent with the list of medication‘s from the hospital‘s doctor. Some of them are very very important. He is on blood thinner, Eliquis, and many other medication‘s for his chronic pancreatitis. He did not receive any medication’s last night and as of 1135 today he has not received any of his medication‘s for this morning. He has a walking stroke. left messages for the nursing staff with no callback. I’m gonna go ahead and file a claim report if I don’t hear something within the next hour.

We were never helped! We walked in & were asked to wait for an assessment, 45 minutes, nothing! No dr, no clinician, no paperwork, just sitting! As my family member is severely anxious. Not only that, we were basically stuck and locked inside the lobby because there was no one there to let us out!! Horrible!! My family member got so anxious they called the police to get us out! That’s when they finally walked out & offered to let us out!! What about helping??? Had I read the reviews, we wouldn’t have stepped foot!

My daughter was just discharged from here, and she had nothing but good to say about her stay. The nursing staff were so kind and helpful. The only negative was that the food was sometimes not so great she said. They helped her so much.

I am going to start with five stars. My Brother was transferred here this afternoon. He has depressive mood disorder along with other medical issues. We will see how it goes. I am his POA. If his health and meds are not addressed immediately, I will be making contact with the state of Ohio. I pray they take care of him! Worried Sister.

I arrived at this place, completely overwhelmed, and in the state of severe anxiousness and major depression. After three days admitted into the hospital, I was discharged and started the IOP program. I was a bit concerned at first, because the I in IOP stands for intensive, but the word intensive is a little misleading, but in reality for me, everything was so subtle that you learned without realizing you learned. Even as of two weeks ago I was still extremely anxious and scared to go back to work, but somehow over the last two weeks that fear has faded and although I’m still anxious about going back to work, it’s more out of the fear of unknown, and not that I don’t have coping skills to deal with it. Leah Dapo is probably the best therapist I’ve ever worked with, and you make friends easily with everybody in there and with her guidance we got into conversations that helped us reveal things that I was completely unaware of. If you need help or think you may need help I highly recommend getting into the IOP program.

Over the past 2 years I have had the opportunity to work with some remarkable clinicians and care givers that are patient centered in their decisions. MCBH is vigorous in ensuring all patients receive the full continuum of care throughout their stay.

My brother was there and when he was discharged his wallet and glasses were NOT returned to him. I've called left messages emailed and no one has returned my calls. I'm am forced to file a police report due to the mismanagement of patients personal items...

I am beside myself that this facility has not been shut down yet, and I expressed my concerns while I was a patient there in October to the social worker on staff that it should be. Since I have left 3 messages with the patient advocate, as have several members of my family and have never received a call back, maybe a negative Google review will grab the attention of the person monitoring these. I was admitted in October 2023 when I expressed to the intake worker that I did not want to admit myself voluntarily and to ensure that I did not sign that form. I was later told by the nurses that I initialed a form that did just that. I was then advised by a social worker to sign a 3 day form on my second day admitted, which I was not told began a new 72 hour clock. At that point, I was nearing 30 hours being admitted without speaking with my provider, despite being told someone will speak with me in 24 hours. I was admitted on a Monday and not given access to any of my personal items until Thursday. I talked to 3 different providers in my 4 days there for a total of about 15 minutes. With the exception of a few employees, most of the staff I interacted with had zero respect and offered no empathy or consideration for any of the patients. I witnessed several patients being refused medication and dietary restrictions, while the game of pass around requests became the party line with each employee I talked to. Furthermore, I was required to prepay for my stay there. After processing through insurance, I ultimately overpaid my bill. I have attempted on numerous occasions to contact the billing department, or frankly any person at this point, to return my call about getting that money refunded and I have yet to hear from anyone. I also filed a formal complaint when I was there that was never addressed. If I could give this facility 0 stars, I would happily do it, but take this as a warning for anyone in your life who has a mental health crisis, do NOT admit them to this facility. The trauma I have from my time here will be long lasting. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Ohio department of Health.

My experience was horrible as an employee and didn’t even make it to the floor yet. It’s unorganized. Staff talks about each other in front of new staff. They weren’t very welcoming, and praise how high they always supportive to their employees but are not. You find things like this on property in the photo below in the employee parking lot. Everyone in upper management is so unprofessional and some were very rude. Even reaching out to the company is horrible you can never get in contact with no one!

My nephew was transferred to this facility today. His family lives an hour away and, we still have not even received confirmation that he is even there. This is no way to operate a facility, especially a mental health facility. These patients are among the most vulnerable yet, they are being left completely alone. How hard is it to contact family simply to let us know he is okay? Several of us have called the facility’s number and left messages. I personally have left messages for the patient himself to call, the nursing department, social work department and, the patient advocate. Absolutely nothing! I am so angry at this facility - obviously no compassion, no common sense and no protocols. This is NOT acceptable!

I'm amending my previous review, since once I got in contact with admin, they were helpful and found a resolution that best suited my family member. I'd recommend that more communication happen up front, increasing staffing to be more equipped to communicate with family members regularly, and setting more clear expectations for what this experience would be like and if it's the best fit place for the patient.

A female family member just had a three day stay here after suicidal ideations- they sent her home after only three days, with a new medication that completely sent her into a spiral- and two days later she tried to commit suicide and nearly succeeded. I believe she would not be here with us had her neighbor not called for help.. I wish this hospital would do more in depth testing before they rush people right back out the door .
