So glad they are reopened! Great staff & really cool vibe. The “madame French toast” was such a good brunch addition. Can’t wait to check out happy hour!

Had a great experience at their soft opening! Our server Lydia was awesome, and the food was delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back for dinner and drinks.

I live in the LC and have always loved the food at the Goat. However they have the worst service inside and outside the restaurant. Inside the restaurant it takes forever for you to get serviced you get your food and then you never hear from the waitress again. The last few times I've ordered delivery instead. I waited over an hr and 30 minutes for my delivery even tho it said it would be a 3p minute delivery. I called after an hr and a half of waiting when I was told they over looked my order. "Did I wantd it reorders or not". Reluctantly I said yes and when I finally got my food after waiting over another 30 minutes it was cold we ordered a black bean burger and they didn't put the burger on thesandwich just vegetables 🙃 when we called to tell no one answered for the rest of the night

I don't give 5 stars cause nothing is perfect but the newly remodeled goat is awesome. The staff is knowlegabe and friendly. The manager, Steve was super nice. The food was SO GOOD! The coffee shop, The Morning Ritual is OVER THE TOP, homemade syrups for amazing coffee drinks and homemade pastries and granola bars!!

After being closed for a year it’s finally been remodeled and is open for business. Added is a full service coffee shop similar to what was done at the New Albany location. The overall space has been greatly enhanced with much more seating while feeling more spacious. The added bleacher seating by the volleyball court is a huge addition and very welcome. Did not get a chance to eat but the drinks were very good.

I don't know what's happening but its a hot mess. I've lived out here going on 5 years. And have always loved there food. But its been nothing but terrible service and my food has been wrong the last 4x i ordered. I have actually spoken to 3 different managers in past year. The last one i spoke to said that he was the last manager to be hired and that he would give me a gift card but that they were charging or upgrading there pos system and come in the next day to get my gift card. Well i gave him 2 day and he never contacted me. So i stopped in and he was actually bothered that I was there and said the system was still not letting him do any gift cards and he would contact me. That was a month ago 😳. I have a feeling he's not going to work out either. I will not ever order from them again.

Love the new look, was definitely worth the wait. Even though I'm not drinking the bartender made me multiple non alcoholic drinks that were delicious! Thank you Christian.

We stopped by during the power outage and had a nice, warm, cozy lunch. Our friendly server was the best. She made sure we got the special resident discount. The remodeled space makes this a convenient gathering spot - particularly now that O'Charley's has closed.

Stopped in recently for some live music, food, and adult beverages. What a great vibe to this place. Located inside an apartment village, they have live music, volleyball leagues, and a huge outdoor bar connected to the inside. I highly recommend this location for your next night out!!

Came around noon on a Sunday. My in-laws and father had a hard time staying on their chairs. They were bar stool height and uncomfortable. The place itself was more suited to urban professionals. Our waiter seemed like the only one working. My dad's bagel was cold and hard, but he ate it anyways. My huevous ranchero was pretty good. My sister's omelette came with a salad, but no dressing. Don't really plan on returning.

Watch the staff because they are thrives. I had two incidents at this place. First one staff keeping your change because they don’t return it. Odd it’s mine but ok how is that legal? Second one today I was charged for items I didn’t order. I paid the right bill but then they used my card to pay for someone else’s drinks etc, So needless to say watch them closely regardless if you use cash or card they gonna steal from you!

Atmosphere is good. Nice facility with plenty of room. Service is not so great. Host/hostess was inattentive despite having no other tables. Drink and utensil requests were forgotten. Greeter was on the phone when my small party (3) arrived and had his back to us for over 5 minutes. Several staff passed us but offered no service. Food quality has gone down since early 2022. Bar staff is very slow in making drinks.

Casual atmosphere, excellent food, great service. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money, but it's well worth it.

This was our first time at this place. We weren't sure which door was the front so, we followed the person in front of us. There was a piece of wood on the floor keeping the door cracked open because the handle was completely off. We walked in and no one greeted us. A girl sitting at a high top table by herself told us to seat ourselves. We sat outside and it took the waiter a long time to come take care of us. So long that we went inside to see if we order at the counter. When he finally arrived he asked us what we wanted, but we hand no menu. So, he took this block thing from the table next to us, tossed it onto our table and told us to scan the QR code. The service tonight was very poor. You could tell that they didn't care about you. We waited 40 minutes for our food which ended up being mediocre. I got the Gyro and it was bland. My daughter got the Southwest Burger which she said had no seasoning. My mom ordered The Goat and Chicken with bun on side because she is gluten-free. When she asked for a fork and knife a waitress said she gave us one, yet there was no knife. Since service was very slow, we knew it would be awhile if we asked for one so my mom had to use her fingers to break the chicken into pieces. If you're looking for a restaurant this place is not it. I think it is more for the residents than outside people.

Food is pretty good but expensive for what you get portion wise. Their volleyball league look like fun. Great place to hang out side by the pool or bar.

Came in with a group of friends and had a fantastic time! We were sat immediately, food came out quick, and was extremely delicious. We had kiddos with us and the restaurant was very accommodating - atmosphere is kid friendly and they have tall high chairs that can be sat at the high top tables, which I’ve never seen before. The whiskey sauce on the wings is sooo good!! Abbie was our bartender / server and she did great! :) will definitely be coming back again

The atmosphere is nice. It has that neighborhood feel to it. The food is amazing. I would rate the pizza the best in the surrounding Columbus area. The staff are very nice and friendly. It’s nice to walk in and see smiles all around.

The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the Italian pizza rolls, and the fried pickles. The “pizza rolls” were just a bland calzone. I would’ve been happier with some actual frozen pizza rolls from Totinos 🤣 My server was meh. It wasn’t busy, but she was not very interested in serving me, and therefore took her time responding to my table. It was just me, and I ordered water to drink, so it wasn’t like she had to keep coming back and forth to my table. I think took her too long to realize that I was finished eating (I only ate 1 “pizza roll”). When she brought me the check, it took FOREVER for her to come back and get it. She did apologize, so there’s that. Will I be returning? No. It’s just your typical bar and grill style restaurant, and there’s nothing spectacular to see.

I had NO idea the cuteness and enticing atmosphere of THE GOAT, no matter what location! Everybody is so friendly, most almost if not all locations are based in residential neighborhoods. The few that I have been to also have an entrance through a leasing office of the properties. I know it sounds a little crazy, but the people that work in the office are also very helpful and nice. Very welcoming to the community, no matter why you are there! Can't wait to be able to enjoy this as its intended, aka after corona

My server checked on us multiple times as well as the manager, even though she was clearly busy with multiple things. My food was out quickly and I didn't have an empty glass of water throughout. In general, a great experience and I will continue to eat there!

Oh boy, where do I start. We made reservations a WEEK ago for our friend’s birthday. We followed up yesterday just to confirm that our party of 10 would be seated outside.. tell me why when we arrived we watched people be seated at the table WE reserved & we had to be seated inside? We arrived at 7:30, it’s now 9:40 & we still haven’t received our food. Do we dare ask for our bill? Way to ruin a birthday party with your trash service. You will literally waste your time by coming to this restaurant. I don’t even leave reviews, but I’m leaving this one just to warn other customers. Save yourself time, save your money & go elsewhere.

I have lived at the LC Gahanna for going on 5 years and always had fantastic service at the Goat. We used to be multiple time a week regulars being that my wife and I live onsite. About a year or so ago all the servers and bartenders that we loved and knew so well walked out and it’s been nothing but downhill since. A constant revolving door or kitchen staff, bartenders and management. Which speaks volumes about the environment of staff won’t stick around. In our last 4 visits/ delivery’s orders have been wrong every time. Entire orders and items missing and TWICE I’ve had chicken that was still raw in the center. And each time I give the Goat another chance just to be let down again. **shout out to Mason for always comping or correcting things** But apart from him I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

Though, my first time eating at this restaurant was not delightful as there was a racially motivated comment made to me by my server, the service manager did make an attempt to correct the experience which I'm pleased with. Regan in fact was not our server, she was a gem! Such a sweet girl and she was extremely kind. She even cleared mine and my guest plates from the table as well as provided refills when our server (Who shall remain nameless because my intent is to never call someone out negatively) was much more attentive to the other guests around us. The food was pretty good. I had a vegetarian gyro. I am looking forward to returning and having some pizza!

I lived in the Preserve Crossing LC for nearly 8 years. I visited The Goat regularly for the last 5 of them. Literally hundreds of times, so, I've seen some good days, and some not so good days. However, a month removed, I can honestly say, that the good days and memories of the food and my experiences far outweigh any of the bad. Easily. Every staff member I've ever encountered has been top notch! From the chefs, to the bar backs, servers, bartenders and management. It's definitely worth at least a visit. :)

The Goat Gahanna was recently upgraded this year (2023). They have a new inside-outside bar/ patio & they also have a coffee bar with plenty of booths for large groups.. it’s really just the prefect place to have dinner with friends/ family, sit by yourself & work, read by the fire pit, talk/ meet people at the bar. Drinks are really refreshing and their happy hour has very good prices.. food is just a plus w/ daily specials. Also, you can grab a bottle/or a beer or two while enjoying the patio/ watching volleyball, playing cornhole. As far as service, my experience has been nothing but great, Marissa and Abby are just two of the bartenders that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting & they are very attentive, friendly and helpful! Such a great vibe/environment. Really the place for any occasion, on any day! 5 stars :)

We have been to The Goat in Gahanna on multiple occasions and everything has always consistently been perfect! The service is always fast, attentive and friendly. We have tried several different dishes and have yet to try something we didn’t like. We can’t wait to go back!
