If zero stars was an option, I'd put it. I have had nothing but issues with this property management. If I could, I would rent out of student living before these incompetent idiots. I rented from Huntington Lakes and lived there for 4 months. Our dryer never worked. We put in multiple work orders for the problem and I even called every day. I was their most problematic customer, but it could've been solved if they addressed issues. We could never get a straight answer from anyone, especially when it came to move out. Now, we're at the point where we get our security deposit and they expect us to pay them money since they wanted to replace the carpets. (Nothing was wrong with them. We lived there for 4 months and have very well trained animals.) I call and there is no budging and the staff member that answered the call was quite rude. Maybe this will catch their attention as it will be cross posted to the Contemporary Management reviews as well. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

I have lived here for almost two years and the first year was fantastic. Everything was very clean, staff was amazing and friendly. However, my rent was raised a few hundred dollars and I was fine with that because I loved living here. Lately though I’ve noticed that the pools are closed often due to maintenance (balancing chemicals) because they are not kept up with and the pool deck is dirty, and the dog waste bins are always full. It’s just a shame because I’m paying more so I would expect things to stay the same or get better rather than get worse. I still love living here I just wish maintenance would take care of it like they did last year.

Have been residing almost a year. Management is friendly and timely. Maintenance is quick friendly and does the best job. Grounds are very nice. The Management makes sure residents are taken care of. The price is compatible with most other apartments.

I’m signing a lease to move in 2/09/24 Spoke with Seth and he was very helpful in getting me started. He was very professional. Management is very easy to talk with, and they are always willing to listen. I will update this review periodically. I have a good feeling about Huntington Lakes. I’m very happy!

Current resident. For the record, I like the apartment. High ceilings, newer appliances, generally quiet. When we moved in, it wasn’t super clean, and we had a few small issues which we noted on the move in form (that they reminded us several times was very important), but none of the issues were ever addressed without further action from myself (multiple windows had missing or damaged screens, the light in the downstairs entrance didn’t work, the door handle was loose, the fridge filter light was on, the sliding door to the balcony barely moves and gets stuck often). Eventually I put in a maintenance request and got some of these issues dealt with. I tightened up the door handle and didn’t really worry about the other stuff. Slowly, I’d start to notice more *small* things that on their own wouldn’t be a big deal, but if I’m paying twice the rent of everyone I know, I’d expect a little better. The floors and baseboards aren’t installed properly in several areas, there are rubber bumpers glued on the corners of the stairs that just fall off and get dirt stuck on underneath, there are paint splatters under almost every wall. The amenities are okay. Not great, just ok. The pools are nice, but they are dominated by small children most of the time. The gym seems okay, I haven’t used it much. The gate system to let visitors in is hard to use and sometimes does not work at all. The package room seems convenient until the Amazon locker is full and then they just put them out in the open to be taken by any resident, there have been incidents of stolen packages. If you’ve lived in student housing, you’ll be prepared for the maintenance headaches. There is no schedule, even if you have a date and time scheduled. This applies whether you’ve requested the maintenance or not. The actual living conditions at this apartment complex are okay, it’s nice and quiet (with a few exceptions I won’t get into) and the apartment is well equipped. However, the managing body for the complex needs some work. They will gladly charge $20,000+ a year, and give you something marginally better than student housing, with a comparable maintenance hassle. Our day-to-day experience has been ok, but the quality isn’t what you pay for and any interaction other than paying rent is too much of a headache for the small fortune we pay in rent. Edit: a senior regional manager reached out to me since posting this review, and has made an attempt to fix some of our issues.

Day I moved in Oct 15 2022 no hot water, sloppy cleaning paint splatter on the floor and carpet in all rooms just to name a few. I put everything on move in sheet only a few issues addressed.Other issues ignored and finish work cabinets holes filled w/filler where mistakes were made. All repair orders to maintenance take 2 to 4 weeks to be addressed none are emergencies(6-7 orders written to maintenance since I've lived here) Now the apt upstairs being remodeled No Notification from Corp. that was being done 10/3 8am jackhammers (loud equipment and banging) being used to gut apt. NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL Had ask for schedule of rest of work being done. I am a recoving CANCER patient with asmha AND I AM VERY DISPLEASE THAT I HAVE TO MOVE OUT OF MY APT SO REMODELING OF THE APT UPSTAIRS IS BEING DONE. ALL EMPLOYEES ON THE GROUNDS ARE POLITE AND NICE.

I absolutely love living here. Super dog friendly, most if not all of the staff know me and my dog by name and they are so nice. It's such a nice area, and its great to be in a gated complex. I've never had an issue with maintenance either, my A/C broke and they fixed it ASAP, replacing the damaged drywall and the A/C literally the same week. 10/10

This complex has been wonderful since day 1. The neighborhood is so quiet and comfortable. The people are nice. Any maintenance request is handled promptly. The apartments are updated and beautiful. Very happy we moved here.

We really like this apartment! Although it is not brand new, and, at the beginning, there are some places that require some maintenances/fixes but the management people at the reception are so kind and prompt in terms of their reaction. Especially, we have a great experiences with Narace! We also find people in this area quite nice!
