Great ice cream. Waffles are awesome. Smells like heaven. Also, found Big Red soda and lots of specialty sodas. Love it!

Delicious!!! Highly recommend this little hidden gem! Saw this place on a You Tube video as a top ten to visit. Recommendation did not disappoint. Staff was very sweet and hardworking. Clean and great atmosphere. Thank you for the delicious ice cream and coffee!

My grandparents used to bring me here every single time I visited them until I moved down here for college. I come here all the time now as they have delicious house made ice creams, along with many different ways to get your ice cream. The actual food is amazing too, and I’ve managed to get at least one of my friends hooked on this place. They can be a bit slow, but with only a couple employees working together at a time, there’s no reason to be mad at them for that. The staff is always wonderful and patient with all customers!

Finally! A real ice cream spot. Neighbors is quaint and cozy. Definitely perfect for families and friends with a sweet tooth. I have gone twice in the past two weeks. The first visit I wasn't thrilled with the service. It was underwhelming. But once I had a taste of the ice cream, we definitely were going to come back. Our first visit was off peak on an early Friday evening...around 5pm. Second visit was Saturday around 730p and was busier but the girl behind the counter was so patient with my indecisiveness. She suggested flavors and I ended up trying the sweet potato. Amazing!!!! Waffle cone was super fresh, tables and parlor area clean while the general store had coolest sodas and candies..you want to browse for a bit. It's the kind of spot you want to be a regular at. I have not tried breakfast or lunch, but due to seemingly local popularity I would definitely pop up off peak times. I now call the sweet potato ice cream "Mama's candied yams" because I swear it taste just like the Thanksgiving dish. Homemade marshmellows l!!👍🏽😍👏🏾

Tell your friends, tell your enemies this is probably the best ice cream in Florida. So many flavors. Regular flavors like vanilla are great and all the original flavors are so good. I am glad that I listened to the reviews and gave this place a shot since it was out of our way. I suggest the pirates coffee. There is flavor for everyone. They also have coffee and a section of bottled sodas and root beers. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!!!

I try to make a trip out to Neighbors whenever I'm in the area. Great Ice Cream and variety of coffee beverages. My kids are teens now and still love coming to this little gem in Port Orange. Thanks for the memories!

I come here all the time, i grew up with this place. Me, my sister and her boyfriend came here for ice cream. I ordered and my sisters boyfriend ordered ice cream. I finished quickly while my sister's bf took longer. My sister and her bf were sitting next to each other and an old woman, I have never seen there before came up to them and asked them not be so close, bc there was a group of little boys coming in and they shouldn't have to see that. They were confused but they did do what they were told. We weren't even in there for an hour and were told to leave, for no reason. The old lady didn't tell us why, she just said that we had to go outside, she wasn't even being polite about it. My sister's bf wasn't even finished with his ice cream. We were about to get up when the old lady came back and said "now" she didn't even give us time to grab our trash. She didn't care that there was 2 children running around the place screaming. And she didn't care about the group of boys dropping pizza onto the floor, yelling about burning their tongue on the pizza, and they were also being really annoying to other customers. The girl who took our order was very polite. And every other time i came here everyone was polite. Idk if she's new but I think she needs more training bc she should not be kicking out customers and not telling them what they did wrong.

Our first time here after visiting the park across the road. I was told by another customer that the sweet potato pie was really delicious so I sampled it and it was so good I bought a Medium. I also sampled the purple cotton candy and it was the best cotton candy ice cream I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit much better than Ritters

Literally the best place to get Ice cream, hands down. They have the most fresh ice cream selections in this area. All from local creameries, small family owned and operated. Also has a light lunch menu to choose from. You cant beat the area either, childrens park across the street, made for a nice family outing. They make special cakes and pies as well. Must stop

Their ice cream is the best! It was creamy, well balanced in flavor and sweetness, and it did not have that artificial taste that is often found in these kinds of treats. They had a good variety of flavors to choose from. In addition to delicious ice cream, they carry other dessert options, and a variety of soda! So happy we found this place, will definitely be back! Also the service was great—very friendly.

I could come here everyday. Delicious homemade ice cream and fresh baked desserts. This time we left with a peach cobbler milkshake, a cup of strawberry mango sorbet, a slice of pumpkin cheesecake, a brownie, and a banana bread loaf. They also have a great lunch menu and coffee.

So I have never heard of this place. I saw their ice cream on door dash and decided to give it a try. I had the Cookie Monster flavor and it was great. My only complaint is that the ice cream doesn’t have a seal on it.

Very good ice cream, but could have been great ... In general, the great base ice creams were lessened with choice of mixing items. For example, the Thai Tea ice cream was extremely impressive, but adding overly sweet white chocolate bits overpowered the Thai theme flavors in an incompatible way.... a better choice might be toasted coconut flakes. The coffee Heath Bar had very large chunks which overpowered the coffee ice cream. Key Lime was good but needed a lot more lime flavor. Salted Toffee was okay. Coconut Almond Joy was also okay and would be better with more well diced almond joy pieces. The Butter Pecan was exceptional, really the best I have had in a long time.

Best ice cream and worth the drive from Daytona Beach. What a great place and the girls working the bar were amazing too. Try this place out!!!

Love 🥰 the fresh ice cream and whimsical decor. Got a slice of blackberry cheesecake and an ice cream. The view from the parking lot is also very nice. There's a tranquil pond there. Across the road is also a children's park and a dog park.

We love this ice cream parlor! The flavors are fantastic and it is some of the best ice cream we have had in Florida! 🍨 We always make sure to visit during our Florida vacations. The lemon blueberry cheesecake is the BEST!

I love coming here, its a very nostalgic place for me because of the style and ambiance. The cashiers are always friendly and the food is top notch. Its a good alternative to typical restaurants during the day for me. They have healthy options here which is a plus!

So on their website they carried Vegan ice cream. We decided to go there to give the local shops business. My wife asks them do you have vegan ice cream. Rudely the guy behind the counter states we used to but threw it all away. Then she asks him if the chocolate covered bananas were dark chocolate. Says nope just milk chocolate like it says. So needless to say we will take our business to a shop like Ben and Jerry's who offer a vegan option.

We took a trip to Port Orange two years ago. I got this coffee flavored ice cream with chocolate covered espresso beans that was so amazing. Loved it so much we went there twice during our trip. But two years later I STILL think about this ice cream. This is a MUST STOP HERE location.

Such a cute, clean, roomy ice cream parlor with great tasting flavors and food options! We had both, ice cream and a sandwich. Everything tasted great! Took our family there we were very pleased. Beautiful neighborhood. I think this will be our favorite spot to come to when we visit Daytona Beach! 5++++ stars!

This place is the highlight of my trips. I come to Daytona every year with my family and every year we make sure to stop at neighbors. The staff is so nice, especially the owner. The ice cream is so creamy and delicious and its honestly some of the best I’ve had.They bake everything by hand and you can tell. Every pie, bar, and cake feels like it was baked with love and care. This place is such a joy and I recommend that everyone in the area should visit.

Stopped by for the first time after taking my daughter to the park across the street. Had some ice cream and I was impressed with the quality and the service. We will be back to the hidden gem.

First time visiting today and it was delightful 🙂. The ice cream was delicious ( salted caramel) and the homemade desserts looked fantastic. We will definitely return to this quaint little place!
