My wife and I had a disappointing experience. We ordered Cat fish and Crab fish for dinner and both got sick with stomach ache. The side salad was too simple with no dressing. Also we were surprised that the staff were not helpful to give us the password for Wi-Fi, maybe language barrier was an issue. As visiting tourists and a long drive ahead today, we are worried how the day will go when we may need frequent stop for washroom From a restaurant with mandatory service charge we expected much more.

Nice location and ambiance. Went there a few years ago as a party of 2, on a Saturday night. Had to wait for 1+ hr before the food arrived. Saramura was unedible, incredibbly salty. Things may have improved, but I will not take the chance until management changes. Service was better in the old days when the place was "Pescarul".

Nothing special. Just good, healthy Romanian food with mainly fish dishes. Nothing special but nothing bad. If you want good food but not in impressive design than this place is ok for you to try. I think the design if the restaurant is a bit old and outdated but they have nice view to the Danube

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The food came really fast and it was really good. I would recommend if you are looking for fish and seafood based dishes. They are fresh and the portions are great.

Fantastic fish dishes. All fresh. The best "storceag" I've ever eaten. The "panko" style fish croquettes were magnificent. The calamari rings were perfectly cooked and weren't rubbery at all. The prices seemed quite fair regarding the food quantity and quality.

We insisted we wanted a window table, they said is only for big groups, but all big tables were empty by the time we left. They could have separated the tables. The fish was too dry, not cooked properly. Both tables were empty when we left and the waiter said “ Have a nice day, even though…” but we left before she could finish. Terrible service and food. We expected more since the reviews were good. Would not recommend

Before I have decided to try this place, I read a few opinions because I was impressed of those 4k reviews! Although some were just mean, I wanted to give it a chance! As I walked up the stairs and entered the main hall, I got a bit anxious cause there was nobody.. But as soon as I noticed the terrace, I felt relieved as there were plenty of people eating and enjoying themselves ( this is in case you happen to enter and the leave because you see the old communism design - it is much more than that! As I was choosing a table, I notice the view which is very nice, very fresh! The Greece vibe felt very well, it made me enjoy my lunch’ The waiter was very polite, the waiting time was decent and the food was very tasty! The portions I have were extremely large as I didn’t manage to finish all.. The prices were decent, it has a large specter of prices, both cheap, average and high depends on your mood of spending.. All in all, I have enjoyed it very much.. The fact that some people complain of the restaurant being full is actually a good to know fact because it means it is actually a good restaurant.. They might have bad days but it looks like a restaurant with history and it was nice to try the local’s place!

Visiting the city for two days, I was looking for a good fish restaurant near the water and came across Blue Acqua. The place is nice and clean, with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful view. The fish dishes were delicious. We had grilled catfish and fried carp, with plenty of polenta and garlic sauce, all very fresh and tasty.

Great food. I eat a lot of fish and it was delicious. The only thing I did not like was that it took almost 2 hour for the food to be served. If you are really hungry when you get there you may consider ordering something fast, like a snack

Very good and solid restaurant with a good menu! It could be refurbished since it is already a few years since the last refurbishment has taken place. However, the food quality is good as well as the nice view on the denim. It’s for summer evenings excellent!

Great for families or date night. Large space, it can accommodate a large party. Food is delicious, the presentation is beautiful.

I came here at the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed at all!! This place exceeded my expectations in terms of gastronomy. We ate “Platou dunarean” and mussels with tomato and parsley and it was amazing. Well cooked, fresh fish and quick serving. The employees super super nice and talkative and ready to answer any questions. This place is a MUST, just a 3 hour drive from Bucharest. Best fish in the country. Also the menu is quite diversified into a multitude of dishes ranging from salads, soup, grilled/fried fish and sea food (there are also other types of non-fish meals). ❤️❤️❤️ Regarding the prices range, everything is affordable. You would expect to pay more in any other place and not have this exquisite experience. P.s.: if you want to order soups it’s better to call in the morning and let them know how many servings you would like because you might not find them anymore in the second part of the day. (They must taste really good) 😋

Good food, it was a bit quiet, but then again it was also Monday. All dishes tasted amazing and a decent portion for the side dishes

The menu is huge, we found the restaurant and went for the seafood soup, but there were no soups available. Drinks were brought quickly, and the main courses were brought after more than 20 minutes of waiting. The service is good-natured and they speak English, which is a plus.

Not that great. I am not a fish person, however I have been invited by someone and ordered the chicken gorgonzola. I would not recommend, not even one bit.The guy that served had an attitude that was not that great and kept forgetting things. Some of the people liked one of the courses very much but the second (fish) was severely overcooked like my chicken.

Nice food, professional staff... They served us even if we arrived almost at closing time and the food was really good.

Location? Wonderful! Prices a bit expensive but the service was extremely nice! The food was really good! Definitely an awesome recommendation and will surely come back ! The only bad side was the bathroom for the ladies, where they were a bit short on paper&cleaning, but as soon as someone told them, they were on it.

The location is on the last floor of the building. Only stairs are available. Their food is good and the service is one of the best.

Great service, a lot of places and many choices on the menu. The food was very good and the portions were too big for us (normaly I also eat some of my wive or daugthers plate but I couldn't). Proces for what you get are cheap.
