Nice hotel , alles gut !! 46 euro / night with breakfest included !!

The rooms are clean, but the bathrooms are incredibly small and the showers are flooding everything. But the staff here is amazing, kind and always there to help.

A chic, completely renovated hotel, located right in the historic center of Galati. The services are impeccable, the cleanliness is impeccable throughout the hotel, the staff is very attentive to make you feel good, the breakfast varied and generous, the coffee excellent, and the restaurant very intimate, with tasty and beautifully presented dishes. The hotel has ALL Safe certification on health safety standards. I highly recommend the Ibis Styles Dunărea Galați hotel!

It was my summer trip to visit a friend in Romania. I thought, that I will hire a car directly in the town. All car was out and I was without car. after a day of searching. I have to make an appointment before star Hotel Danube. So I waited with this nice coffee. It was 7:53 in the morning, I was tired and coffee was really good :-) Waitress was pleasant, but looks a bit more tired than me :-/

I stayed at the Ibis hotel in Galati as part of my business trip from 2.2.-10.2. Overall, the hotel services can be described as acceptable, comfort, good located near the city center, delicious breakfast, cleanliness.

This hotel rented their place to a company that scams old people. When i called to inquire i pressed 1 to speak to the administrative department and asked the lady what is the name of the company renting. The lady was extremely vicious and rude (seems like she was in on the deal). Said she doesn't care what the people that rent their conference room do there as long as they pay up. WOW! Definitely not a hotel i'd go to!

Could be better, rooms could use some upgrades. Old furniture, No toiletries. There is no safe for personal belongings, no fridge. The breakfast is poor quality. Everything else is good

Parking is not free,if you dont park across a one way street,you get scammed is paying a full day of parking until midnight,then you have to pay again (stay awake until the date in the callendar changes),at the mercury hotel (same organisation,reception tells you,but its a one way street,and you have to go around the city center).they have 2 addresses on google maps (good luck) Food is stone cold and they microwave cooked products. I travel 3 weeks out of a month,i know what i'm talking about. Menu has like bruschette,2 types of pasta,2 fish,veggie burgher,normal one,2 soups,and that's it.all of them frozen and microwaved. Kitchen closes at 8.30 pm,bar at 9 pm. They have things not in the menu. They dont care if you want dessert. Waiter service is fantastic. I saw a old Italian guy with a company lady,they looked at the menu,then left for the room.

We had very good stay, clean rooms , top service . Very welcoming general manager (sorry don't remember his name) , very helpfull and accomodating. Will definitely recommend. The breakast buffet need improvement.

For a 3 days business trip in Galati, it was a perfect choice. Very good location near the river, many shops and restaurants around, quiet and safe. Very kind staff at the reception and cleaning. Breakfast was pretty good and served in an original space in the lobby.

This hotel is really great! With perfect service and hosting! People working here are amazing! Our ensemble "Vesnianka" has been feeling ourselves comfortable and enjoyable for all staying period! I stayed for 2 weeks here, the restaurant food was great and breakfast buffet was so big that every morning I had a lot to choice from. The staff were very attentive and friendly. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Rusha who works at the Reception was very helpful. Thanks again Rusha and all the rest for making my stay very relaxing.

Small rooms, parking area is nearly and need to pay for it. In 3 days the room wasn’t cleaned, towel’s wasn’t changed.

I was most impressed with the service. Omul sfinteste locul ( people could make a place better) as Romanian say and that is indeed very true. The girls at the reception have been most thoughtful on how to sort my stay there. Thank you for that, it is very much appreciated. The room was for me satisfactory, as I had everything I need it. Breakfast was OK as well, perhaps another coffee machine would be helpful for days when the hotel is busy, so the guests do t have to wait in the queue for the waiter to poor water in the coffee machine. Overall, because of the girls at the reception a deserved 4 stars review

Worst experience ever! Renovations are being made, but they still rent rooms, saying it’s not so bad. They are using drilling machines and I swear I thought they were in the room with me. Unbearable. Also, dirty rooms, shower literally in the room, no privacy for a business trip in a room with twin beds. The bathroom door can’t even be closed with someone inside. There is no room! You can change in the shower cabin though 😂 🤬

Decent hotel with clean rooms for a good price. It has it's own restaurant but I only had breakfast there.

I personally liked it. I have to say that people working there tried their best to make you as comfortable as possible. They have been polite and very helpful. They knew that I wanted to come slightly earlier as I was organizing a reunion event and they actually prepared a room for me which I could use from 10 am. That was a very pleasant surprise for me and I am very thankful for that. As for my room, this had everything I needed for my stay. Perhaps the bed was a bit hard for my back but generally I can't complain and the most important thing was that people there are very professional and pleasant and they do know how to do their job and make you feel welcomed!
