A lovely place for homemade food with very cheap price, I had a Thali (comes with four chapatis!!!) which is simple but very tasty! Trust me they won’t ripe you off, they make the price very clear apparently they don’t want any misunderstanding happen again!

I am the owner of this food joint. The last event was a complete misunderstanding as the guests had the Special Thali but they did not have enough money so we charged them LESS. Also the stain is the decorative part of Jeera Rice and not as portrayed by her. Would request everyone to kindly come over and try our hospitality. WE WONT RIP YOU OFF!!

WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF! Gah, what a terrible experience. We went hoping for a home cooked meal after seeing these glowing reviews. We love a good hole-in-the-wall spot! We ordered our food by pointing at the menu which had prices clearly marked. The woman agreed and brought out some really nasty old food. The rice was super old-- formed to the bottom of the cooking pan with brown stains on it. Terrible lukewarm veggies that were clearly just her leftovers. And then she brought out a few more random dishes of snacks and sweets which my boyfriend and I partially ate to be polite. We were already dissatisfied with the meal and just wanting to get out of there. Then we went to pay and she was like, but you ate all this other stuff (the random stuff she brought without asking). She also tried to overcharge us for everything even when we pointed to the prices on the menu. Eventually we just gave her twice as much money as the items we ordered (still less than she said we owed her) and left. She smirked at us on the way out. I felt like we fell into her trap and we had been taken advantage of. Not a good feeling. I dont usually write reviews but this one deserved it.

Had an amazing Diwali at Chauhan Food Corner, outside of the most touristic area of Udaipur but still very well located, home made food (even the flour is done here) and cheap prices. Take the Aloo paratha on the morning and try their special Thali for lunch or diner.

Favorite eating joint in Udaipur, run by the sweetest mother and daughter Kamlesh and Varsha ! Prices are super cheap for food which is really tasty. Proper ghar ka khana : parantha, poha, chowmein, idli, dosa, omlet etc. and the best thalis ! They also offer homestay.

Just came back from that outlet. The food was simply outstanding and so was their hospitality. I had Parathas and Noodles. You won't get a chaper option with a decent quality of food. If you're tight on your budget or wanna experience a pure home style hospitality of India, this is a must visit for you.
