A beach side restaurant in Unawatuna, SL. It is a little hidden and can be easily missed. They don’t have any parking either. It’s a hidden gem though. Properly good food here and lots of alcohol variety. The staff are really friendly too. Had a calamari starter, a prawn main course and a couple of burgers. The squid was fried well and the spicy sauce dip was top notch. The shrimp was a little lean but properly flavourful. Not too spicy either. The burgers were big and little difficult to eat. The chicken was grilled well but kept falling off the buns. The shrimp burger was much easier comparatively. Overall a good place to go. They have a live band as well. And around them not a whole lot is happening so most of the crowd is here.

You can enjoy the small and quiet beach. The restaurant staff is kind and the food is delicious. Especially shrimp burgers and spaghetti are the best.

Best prawn burger I've eaten (and up there with the best burgers full stop), so good I had to get another... Location great, service and cocktails good. We also tried the jumbo prawns which were very good

A Cafe on the beach, which serves you fusion food. They've got a really good prawn and chicken burger which I think must be their best seller. Mostly catered to foreigners so taste is a bit bland to our palate. But a bit of sauce would do the trick. Only down side was their card machine could not accept most of our debit cards. Which was a downer. Other than that service and staff was good, clean neat place to visit.

Great restaurant right on the beach. Had quite a few special burgers to choose from with cool names. We liked them alot. Also they had a nice drink meny and a great chocolate desert. The beat part was the open kitchen where you could view the cooking done by a team of really happy guys enjoying their work as well as the very attentive waitors

Nice restaurant in the beach with very good music. We ordered french fries- tasty not over fried as in local places here. Burgers were good with shrimps and beef at the side kinoa (high respect) and small baked potato.

“The Social Unawatuna”, is one cool place where you can meet, eat & chill to the beats of live funky music along the southern coasts of Unawatuna area with a splendid view of the beach. Few weeks ago Kavindi and I went there for our brunch and tried out a few items off their menu. Since it was the off season back then, they only served a few items off their menu and it was very easy for us to select our items. About their service: Well the staff was really cheerful and helpful and with us. Everything was absolutely perfect, specially the live music was banging and I would say it is a lovely place to drink with amazing sea view so go ahead give it a try and you will never regret!!

A good chill spot best enjoyed with good friends! Accompanied by this amazing prawn burger + passionfruit Mojito. Good service and amazing ambience! Worth a visit.

One of the best shack to relax unwind and enjoy some great music a d food of the beach .This place which is now called the social had a different name before so locating this place is a bite hard as the board is yet to change .But the best way to get to this place is look for the padi board it's the shack between both the padi driving Centers. Food here is yum I would recommend the chicken steak .the serves are sweet and very friendly .This shack is a bit expensive compare to the other places around but taste and ambience sure make it worth it .Do visit this place on a Friday Is more like a party space .A must visit when in unawatuna beach
