After each order I my self had to go to kitchen to follow up The guy who takes order also cooks and bills the cheque He serves tooo... if you guys have extra time and want your time pass visit once ..

Date of visit-26th January, 2018 We went to this place expecting authentic Indian food and we're really disappointed with what we got We ordered chicken Biryani and Paneer 65. 1. Chicken Biryani was made from fat rice (Par boiled) contrary to the usual basmati rice. The taste too was not at all to our expectations and it was a struggle to complete the dinner. For the price quoted we expected much better food. 2. Paneer 65 had no taste of the usual chicken 65 dish and was another let down in terms of price and quality of food 3. There was also a delay in the food preparation and it took around 45 minutes to get the food ready. This is long considering there were no customers other than us in the restaurant during our order. However the expected delay was conveyed to us at the start but due to our urge for a proper Indian food we decided to proceed with the order The total cost came to 1650 LKR (684 INR) for the two dishes which I still feel is a total waste of money Honest opinion- 1.If you are looking for authentic Indian food please do not go here as this is not at all Indian food. 2. If you are looking for good food please do not go here there must be few other good restaurants in Hikkaduwa for the same. I hope they improve their standards in the future.

Absolute waste of money and time. Went there with family without checking the reviews first. It took forever to get the ordered food and the curries and rice were not served at the same time. The taste was not good either. Looked decent on the outside but we ended up getting disappointed with the food and service. The one and only thing I liked was the view.

We had to walk to the kitchen several times to finally get our food served, despite having already waited for an hour after ordering food. After finishing eating, we had to walk to the kitchen again to ask for the bill. Additional disappointment is that they charge 10 percent extra on the total cost of food. The menu says that the extra charge is for government tax, which surprisingly no other restaurant seems to charge. But the bill says that it is service charge. They had 1 waiter who was rushing around trying to take orders from only 2 tables. He missed parts of our order, however the food came quick enough. The paneer was nice as was the chicken, however the naan were small and I am not sure if they were fresh. A few minutes after we received our food we saw a mouse run into the restaurant from outside. When we were given the bill there was a strange government tax added on as well as a 3% card charge that we were not told about. Other restaurants don't seem to have this so I am unsure why they are the only ones to do it.

I went to eat here cause I love Indian food but when walking in there was a lady sitting who gave us a very unwelcoming feeling. No smile no hallo. A very short “Yes” after the question if The kitchen was open. Staff looked miserable. The palak paneer was very very bland and just not the flavorful food you except from Indian food. The price was a total rip off for that quality. I could deal with mediocre food but that combined with bad service and very unwelcome feeling I felt the need to write my first review ever. This place needs a lot of improvement.

Ordered Garlic Naan, Chicken tikka masala n Samosa. Food is not tasty as I wish. Naan was very rubbery and no moist at all. Also the shape doesn’t encourage the appetite. ☹️

I ordered for two dishes and they tasted and looked the same. We told them one of us was Indian but still we were served bland tasteless food. The waiter was excellent but the poor boy was suffering in his shirt, trouser and shoes uniform... For the quality of the restaurant and the lackluster ambience, at least let the guy wear shorts...this is definitely not the Ritz. NEVER going back.

First of all I checked the reviews before deciding to try it, The food was very tasty like you would expect from an Indian restaurant, we ordered chicken tikka starter with a poppadom each before ordering main course was lovely, after starter we ordered main course myself chicken masala my wife chicken tikka masala, excellent just I thought my wife had more then me, I was very jealous when I had finished and she was still enjoying hers. Note to owners with poppadom should come with a mint yoghurt sauce, pennies to make. Overall fantastic taste just a little on the small side portions 4stars all round for real Indian authentic food . Will be back
