We saw all the 1 star reviews and thought that it couldn't be that bad during the off season. Oh boy were we wrong. All 1 star reviews are true, music till 1 am, sh*theaded manager, dirty sheets. Avoid this place.

Nice place to have a drink by the beach. Their cocktail menu is interesting, I tried the chili tamarind and it was nicely done with a tangy taste. Service is good as well.

28 $ per night I paid for very loud room next to road full of bikes and Tuk Tuk’s, loud music. There was no water for 1,5 h and when I came back after 3h and wanted to take shower I found out that there is no hot water even! It’s just a bit warm. There was no even toilet paper when I arrived. So loud and feels like I am sleeping just on the street! No no and No!

I haven't actually stayed here but I've heard that it's one of the best places to stay in Una. The service here is pretty good, the staff is great & cherry on top, it's BYOB. Would definitely visit again!

The pictures shown online are very misleading. Seems like an inviting beachfront hotel. It was really disappointing and the place was shabby with very basic rooms. Definitely would not recommend this place, especially if you have any small children/family. I had to give 1 star because I wanted to put a review, otherwise I wouldn't even have given it one...

Off season + economic crisis: No problem. The boss makes it all possible. Warm welcome and everything works somehow! No idea how this all looks if its full but the town is nice, people friendly, all smooth.

Restaurant on the seaside with very good and neatly served food. The cocktails were also refreshing. A good choice for dining by the sea and I love the environment. The band here was blazing. And the staff was so friendly.The bar is great, very chill with lots of lounging areas and beds.

Amazing sea view. Go ahead and pay extra for the superior room on the top floor and its totally worth it. Cozy and clean beds, private balcony overlooking the sea. Friendly staff and good food.You can spend hours here under kottamba trees, watching sunrise and sunset. Enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Not somebody to usually write reviews. But PLEASE read this before booking! We have checked out early due to various reason music blasting and literally vibrating the whole room dirty sheets and staff are on another level of no idea! All the staff just seem to be wasted at the bar asked to speak to the manager but nobody seemed to care! Seriously think carefully about booking this place

Highly enjoyable experience from start to finish Greeting on arrival, friendly and efficient staff throughout the restaurant. The seafood plate is phenomenal.. Perfect Shisha on the beach ! Definitely recommended.

Very Bad service for foreigners ! Long waiting Room without soap, no toilet paper and gave us one towel for 2 people... We are rushing and ordered breakfast for 4 people , but they gave us 2 breakfasts...

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in years of travelling. The noise of the hotel and the hotel next door is horrendous and I have had no sleep. It’s so bad that I’ve checked out early to find somewhere else. The staff have no interest in helping and are only interested in having a good night themselves. I can’t believe I am writing such a bad review but this place is really bad! :(

One of the best places to have an enjoyable time with your loved ones. The service is very friendly and quick and also the food is really good. In the evening you can listen to live music and enjoy till the night. Recommend everyone to visit this place. You can also have a swim in the sea right in front this place.

Hey, looking for a hotel with a nice seaview and literally no sleep? You are right here! The bar next to the hotel gives you noisy party vibes 7 days a week, so you can get up at 2 pm, walk 10 meter next to the hotel and join the loudest bar of whole unawatuna beach because no single soul can sleep with that noise. Seriously, you get no sleep here. I‘m writing this at 04:00 am. Third day in a row. No one takes care. If you want a peaceful night consider a accommodation somewhere else at unawatuna.

I Had a lovely stay here. I took advantage of a promotion they were having and got a complimentary double room for having all 3 of my meals at Toddy by Hoppa. My room was beautiful, as you can see the view was heavenly, meals were fresh and delicious and the staff was excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate me. I highly recommend Toddy by Hoppa.

Amazing place just in front of the magnificent Unawatuna beach. High quality foods, Great atmosphere and specially the owner a such a nice human being. 5star service. Come and grab a beer and enjoy. Cheers

This place is small in size but cozy and comfortable, with no strict check-in or out regular time rules, feels so homely, and ocean-view rooms have a magical view in the evenings and nights. These are the reasons why we keep visiting this place over and over again. 😄😄 And also the easy access to Unawatuna beach is one big plus point! Bcs I'm a serious oceanholic 🌊😌

Just as soon as the first lock down was released, me and my best friend decided to hop on a bus and come straight down to Unawatuna and we decided to stay at Toddy by hoppa. This place is super chill and the room was pretty good and we literally spent less than 2k for the room. The staff was friendly and welcoming. And their service was pretty good. They also had an interesting selection of cocktails!

Nice and clean place to stay. Food was delicious and customized if asked the day before. Drinks are really good too. Great value for money and the staff is very helpful.

As always, love the place! Great ambiance, super friendly staff, safe and simply awesome! Definitely going back again!

Not worth the money. Food is very average. Had to wait for two hours to get breakfast and it was hilarious to see what got delivered. Recommend any other place in the bay but not this, unless you want a rare unpleasant experience.
