One of the best hotels I've ever been. The food was delicious, and the buffet offered a wide variety of options. The hotel staff is extremely pleasant and competent. And I'm glad to note that on that day, one of my childhood dreams came.

Beautiful place. Clean bathrooms. The pool is wow and clean. You canโ€™t dive as itโ€™s not very deep. They also have a kids pool. Staff are ok. Didnโ€™t interact with them much. Their lunch buffet is amazing. The pork dish was kept separate which is a Very thoughtful thing to do for the Muslims. Much appreciated. ๐Ÿ™ You need the vaccine card to enter. The welcome drink Tasted like tang and was served in coconut shell cups. They have a private beach which is not crowded and a boat on the beach as a photo prop. My family and I had a lovely time.

Checked in today for full board triple, you can't order food after 6.30pm, so had a beer without bites , went to buffet table was missing after the soup , water not provided until asked , all rates in dollars , simply they have forgotten the locals who helped them during pandemic , facilities given only for two even we pay for three. Most bad experience having in a star class hotel,

We were a group of three girls who booked a deluxe grand ocean view room. The hotel grounds and view was was beautiful however the staff are poorly trained. From the minute we checked in to the room we had endless issues. The room was full of dust and dust smell. Having a severe dust allergy it was a nightmare for me. The room Air conditioner wasnโ€™t working and we had to complain multiple times, the reception refused to give us another room instead made us wait sweating for more than half an hour and sent some maintenance people in to the room (pictures attached). After wasting another half an hour they got the AC to work and we informed the reception itโ€™s working but the room dust /fungus smell was unbearable. Since staying in the room was unpleasant we decided to go out to the pool and on our way back we noticed a hotel maintenance man following us and staring at us since we were in swim wear. He followed us in the lift when we had gone to the wrong floor and again followed us to the room. He also came back at night when we were all by our self in the room and insisted that we open the door for him, however we refused and told him to go away. Dinner was an unpleasant experience as well as the the woman who took our order made a mistake and insisted that we consume the food of wrong order. We complained to the another staff about this unacceptable behaviour. The following day we headed for breakfast and the same maintenance man was following us, he waited till we climbed up on stairs and was trying to look through our dresses which was disgusting. We confronted him finally which we also managed to record for our safety and checked out of the hotel at the same time. This was also reported to the hotel residents manager. Advise to hotel management train your staff on basics as your staff are ruining the Amari brand. We have stayed at Amari hotels in other countries and have never experienced such horrible experience.

Had a two night stay in late November there and absolutely loved the experience. Apart from the private and secured beach, the ambiance across the hotel was vibrant. The food as well was good. Just one suggestion as I saw many Muslim travellers visiting the hotel. The pork dishes should be served separately from other dishes. Overall it was a great stay. The minibar supervisor and the F&B staff made a real difference.

We had a great stay at Amari Galle last weekend. The hotel is super clean and has lot of activities to kill time. One of the great amenities it has is the kids club. Its quite convenient for us as parents and is a great experience for kids as well. Especially Buddhima, the person who runs it is very friendly with kids. Food is extremely good as well as the swimming pool. Its a great hotel to spend a holiday with your loved ones.

It's a good place to stay but the buffet arrangement is not so comfortable for Muslims because there is no separate section for pork items, everything is mixed.

went for a day out with family and food was the best. There was ample food choices and the service was great too. But there was a shortage of staff and removing plates and provididng drinks was a bit delayed. But it was a great experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I was blown away by the level of service and amenities offered here! The room was spacious and clean, with all the comforts of home. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were high quality. I also appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary bottled water and coffee. The staff here were exceptional - friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The hotel itself is centrally located and within walking distance of many attractions. The on-site restaurant was fantastic - the food was delicious and the service was top-notch. Overall, I had an amazing experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The level of service and attention to detail truly sets it apart from other hotels in the area.

Had a great stay at Amari. Even after pandemic their services are well served. They maintain good hygienic etiquettes and can recommend as a safe place to stay. The food was great and the variations were well managed. So you're not boated at the buffet at a longer stay. There was a live musical session on a Saturday night. That was really great. The best thing with that was the guests could enjoy it even at the outdoor as well as in the rooms. The staff was very supportive and friendly.

Beautiful location and fantastic hotel in the southern coast. Had our stay in mid April 2022. It has a restaurant which has amazing food so you wonโ€™t go hungry. Not to mention very friendly staff at the front and restaurant.

Nice place but I am always put off when the price list is in dollars. So I had a pot of tea, which I was given the wrong menu for (I did wonder as the drinks menu was in rupees, and food menu in dollars) so when I came to pay it was more, not by much but still it is never good to have to discuss the error of a menu price etc easy mistake I understand but much better to avoid all together. Pool looked a very good size, Internet was a code at reception, waiter could not provide, the Tea was very good and a adiquate size pot for those as interested in Tea as myself. To add the waiter did say for the misunderstanding if I was to return the next pot of Tea would have been free. So that was a nice way to end the experience.

Nice location with great view. But staff needs more training. During wedding functions most of the dishes from the buffet are empty. People have to wait in queue until they fill those.

Lovely hotel just a 10 minute tuktuk ride away from the Galle Fort right on the beach. Great pool, bar, restaurant and gym facilities. Only thing that can be improved is more details on what is all Inclusive and what isn't included as some staff seems a bit confused. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Excellent, hotel close to the Galle town. The staff were professional and managed our stay well. The beach is at the hotel door step. Excellent food, need more seafood for the buffets. The seafood from the restaurant is excellent. All rooms have an excellent ocean view.

Good rooms... Helping staff.. Location is also great.. Beach accessible.. A few things we missed as Indian couple, were no special honeymoon surprises inspite of mentioning, very less options of Indian food in breakfast, continental have good variety though. Rest you can go for it.. A good 5 star experience. Pools, location and gentry is great

Amari is a truly amazing hotel. The rooms are stunning. All have amazing views of the ocean. The private beach is really nice and the food is top notch. The best stay in Srilanka you could have by a country mile and affordable if booked enough in advance. Make sure you stay here. I just did for 3 nights and I wish I never had to leave! Thanks Amari

Big shout out to Ash at the front desk! Ash is phenomenal - anything you need while in Galle, heโ€™s your guy. He really went above and beyond for us. The rooms are spacious and bed super comfy, and the pool is stunning. I recommend eating in town versus on site. And, try to book your spa services before you arrive. We did the Ceylon package, which was truly a delight, but it was a bit tricky to get a booking. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The property is absolutely great. The pool area and the pool bar clearly differentiate Amari from the competition. Rooms are very good. Best views are from floors above 2nd floor. My only complaint is that Amari couldn't handle the high number of guests during December peak weekend. We waited more than an hour to check-in. Clearly they are running under staff. Staff was so busy that they even didn't have time to take a group photograph of us. And the ice we requested to the room never happened. These are not major but I think Management should take the responsibility to employ suitable number of staff members to handle the guests and to maintain appropriate service levels. Room dining is very expensive and the menu is in dollars. Pool bar is affordable and the service is very good. Overall I'm satisfied but I have to give 4 stars because of the mentioned minor issues.

It was a great pleasure to stay overnight in Amari Galle hotel. It located in a very nice location adjoining the silver colour beach in Galle. Their hospitality is highly appreciated and all the foods are delicious. I would like to recommend this for another without any hesitation.

We had a lovely day out, it was LKR 3500 pp, included a welcome drink (not a fresh juice), lunch buffet, and evening tea/coffee with the use of pool. The staff was friendly but maybe short-staffed, cz after the long weekend the hotel looked "dirty" with masks lying every nook n corner, n pool was sandy! The food was delicious, and with a wide variety! The hotel is basically child friendly with a nice baby pool, a nice lawn to play n a well kept beach. The only problem we had was not having a proper changing room, we had to use a bathroom and no showers inside. Other than that it was a nice place to hang out.

๐Ÿ˜  Walked in for dinner with friends at around 8.30 pm and was warmly welcomed. Our orders were taken promptly but then everything went downhill from there. Waited around 40 minutes till we decided to ask a waitstaff for an update on our food and we were assured that we would get it soon. After this we...
