My Curry was good, but the rice was charged extra, which surprised us and made the food 50% more expensive than we thought from reading the price on the Menu. Just something I don't like so much. Everything was a bit dusty and sticky.

The food is okay. It definitely feels like something cooked at home. Good place to relax. Don't go there if you are in a hurry, the owner gets irritated if you are.

I really wanted to like this place. It looked like a place where the locals would hang out. Not the usual tourist place. I ordered a coffee, which was awful. I also ordered the egg and cheese Rotti. Again absolutely terrible. Overcooked and tasted like something from a fast-food restaurant. I am disappointed. Also, not cheap. 920 for that. Definitely a place to "miss" on your travels.

I just sit down to the terrace, after then I had an eye contact with the waitress. I checked the menu but after 15 minutes nobody got my order. So when I went in the restaurant the same girl told me, sorry we don't serve any food or drink, because, the owner, my father went away.

This authentic family run cafe has a brilliant menu including tasty cakes & the best tea. It's a great spot to sit on the terrace & watch life go by. There is also a shop in the main building with jewellery, clothes & souvenirs. Fazal offers really insightful walking tours around Galle, 7 generations of his family have lived in his house and in much of Galle so every street you turn will be another tale of his families life.

Great place with really good food. Waiting takes time but it is all home made cooking, very professionally, real Sri Lankan food made with love and care. And the owner is so friendly with lots of knowledge. I highly recommend this place!

This place is hidden in muslim part of Galle and might not look perfect from outside however you MUST go there! Local restaurant & shop with a huge selection of drinks and food. We had Chai Masala and Royal Dutch sandwich which was perfect for a small lunch, fresh and tasty. The owner is a very nice and good man who really cares about his customers. Also the shop inside is worthy to look at. Prices are friendly.

Go here for hsotry and stories. FAZAL who runs the place with his family is 6th generation living in the same house. He has lot of stories to share while you sip away on delicious cinnamon late and munching on homemade ginger cookies. Their homemade cakes are also very good. Def a place to stop on your walks. Fazal also offers a great historic waking tour of the old city.. Our family really enjoyed our time there

Hit or miss some meals very good others very ordinary ,serve very slow , there are better places to eat in the fort.

Small restaurant which can sit 6-8 max in outdoor terrace setting. Quite unique. We had the veg masala curry and fish masala curry. The former particularly was excellent. Entertaining Arabic storyteller owner Fazal who does cookers classes is a great source of local info. Definetely worth a visit.
