Had a really special lunch at Fort Bazaar served by Harshana who took our order, served us drinks and served the food. We sat on the stools in the bar area and had a wonderful 2 hours. The lunch was very good. We were given a tour of the hotel suite rooms. The room we saw was very spacious looking out over Church Street. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff was quite attentive, welcoming and did an amazing job to make our stay a pleasant one.The property is cosy and well maintained. Highly recommended

Brilliant hotel, truly a remarkable renovation has been conducted, throw in the complimentary tea and cocktail hours and it is a must stay. Rooms were modern, spacious and clean. The courtyard was a fabulous place to relax in the hot afternoons and the spa was truly excellent. Food at the restaurant could have been better but was still good. If you stay in Galle definitely stay here.

My family and I dropped into the hotel this afternoon for drinks. The service is impeccable and the drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. The vibe is relaxed and casual with beautiful decor and attention to detail. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

They have changed to US$ prices and now it’s so much more expensive than what it used to be. THIS IS REALLY NOT COOL FOR A LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT! Not worth that kind of money because the food is nowhere near Cipriani or Butter in NYC or even White Rabbit in MSK. This is for you to correct your shameless manner of charging exorbitant prices for low quality food and beverages from customers in foreign currency (USD) in this case. This prices should be fair if you serve fresh Beluga Caviar in Sri Lanka. Not for Tuna fish and small shrimps you catch for free in the ocean! PLEASE CORRECT YOUR MENU AND STATE PRICES IN LKR AND NOT USD. Have some pride for your country of operation. Thank you.

Beautiful ambience .located in the Galle fort. Very clean and nicely maintained property which makes you carm and relax. Staff are very hospitable and always trying to exceed your expectation. My special mention for imjaz and manoj . Manoj is excellence in treating customers. We truly admire Mr Namal for keeping the property in to top notch classy standards. Spotless clean and excellent atmosphere ... We will visit soon ....

the restaurant is very tasty and cozy. but everything spoils the impression when the bill is brought and 30% for tax and service is unexpectedly added to the bill. yes, this was mentioned in the menu, but the phrase is very vague and it can be understood in two ways that prices already contain these costs. Be careful, because the government tax is changing and what it will be on that day, it's an untidy surprise

Every single aspect from people, accommodation, food, etc.; was carefully thought and curated by taking every valuable detail into consideration for a guest to have the best experience ever. The service standards are impeccable and it's truly inspiring to see how they maintain such good standards in a time like this. Thank you very much for being very thoughtful as you made my birthday very special too. I am truly grateful for that. I love the food there. Chef Mohan's superb cuisines and staff superb hospitality make that place more nicer. I love the pizzas there and cost of food is very reasonable.

We were in restaurant here for dinner. Nice service, good interior. But food was not really tasty for this prices. It’s not cheap place and you waiting for something really tasty. Unfortunately I was disappointed.

Fort Bazar is a very Beautiful Colonial style Luxury Hotel in Old Dutch Fort Galle. It’s located in the heart of the Galle Fort. It has a unique style and appearance which attracts the guests. Food and Drinks were very delicious and are very high quality. Their hospitality was superb specially the hostess Ms Udayangani is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone who visit the Galle Fort.

Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the Fort and courteous service, good drinks. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming, items were billed without prior announcement and the prices were steep in relation. We’ve ordered several snacks, which were all deep fried and were unfortunately tasteless. Also, we were asked whether we wanted nuts with our drinks and said yes - and were quite surprised to see that those roasted cashew nuts were billed with 2300 slr (about $8) when it was not announced beforehand.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Fort Bazar! Arriving without a reservation the previous day, we decided to check out the hotel, having had previous experiences with other Tear Drop properties. Despite staying for just one night, when we expressed our desire to use the pool, as in the hotel it is under construction; the manager kindly offered us a truly amazing villa within the property. Not only was the manager extremely professional but also friendly and incredibly accommodating to all our requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone. The location is stunning, and the service is truly exceptional. We even treated ourselves to a spa massage, provided by top-notch therapists. Overall, an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend! Lastly I love the interior design…

RESTAURANT REVIEW (I didn’t stay at this hotel even I walked through and it seemed worth to). I ordered hot coffee latte and superfood bowl (salad from start menu). The guy made a good coffee, but the bowl was really delicious! I was impressed how they mixed veggies and it was super fresh, not heavy, and just so tasty. the restaurant is a little bit more expensive (latte Rs. 850, salad Rs. 1650 + tax/service fee). the stuff is super friendly and there is a chill atmosphere outside.

This place is perfection… get a drink at the bar from Abishek (he’s amazing!) swim in the most beautiful pool and enjoy the beauty of every detail and impeccable costumer service. Grateful to everyone who greeted us in this beautiful hotel for our short stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Location was right in the middle of Fort Galle, easy walk to all the sights and food. Decor is stylish and our room had nice tall ceilings. Food was good, it'll only be made better when pool is ready and they get their liquor license.

Located on Church Street . The quiet ambiance and great service of the hotel makes it a great location to stay. in.house guests are treated to complimentary tea/ coffee and a happy hour with cocktails. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished and the three suites are exceptional spaces.

Appreciably friendly and quality service, with a fairly eclectic and wide options to select from, the food was awesome. The ambience was nice, calm, and clean. While there were diverse seating options, had an awesome upscale dining experience with a friend, sitting next to the street. Nice and fulfilling break to your Fortress exploration.

Nice, modern rooms with basic amenities, but missing essentials like bar soap, hand and wash towels. Have gone "overboard" on the eco concept - so much so that it is affecting a normal traveler's experience. Dinner service very slow, but the included breakfasts were excellent.

The salted caramel was an assault. It was too salty and I think even the sea water was less salty than that. Also dont even think of buying Frappes from this because they are too watery. The vibe is good, but the drinks are terrible.

Came here several times and tried several menus... Finally I concluded that only the salad menu was worth it while the others weren't too much especially Fish & Chips, I laughed at the price of 2000rs not to mention tax

A great place from which to explore Galle Fort. Lovely, clean, airy feel, with spacious, modern comfortable rooms, and a peaceful courtyard with great seating areas. Very friendly service and a decent restaurant and bar too. But if you want other options, they're all around, within just a 5 min walking radius. This was the perfect place to unwind on our final few days in Sri Lanka.
