Cheap by Galle Fort standards... But otherwise over priced and underwhelming. The view is great - perfect for sunsets. The service was friendly and quite quick. The Kottu is 600LKR and up. This is a good price for Galle Fort, but three time the going rate in the main town (the only cheap food in the walls is sold at market stalls.. and is usually good!). The food is quite bland. My Kottu was the least flavourfull of the dozens I had in Sri Lanka and the sauce/gravy tasted like sweat and sour sauce. I assume the food is aimed towards western travelers who want bland food. Soft drinks were served warm so I would suggest asking for a glass of ice.

We had the chicken rice and curry dish and it was really yummy! Slightly on the spicier side but really flavorful. Bad thing was this foul stench that was coming from the drainage downstairs. Otherwise it's a nice, cosy eatery

Great food, good view and fantastic owner. Came here because the reviews were really good. The restaurant has since relocated to near the corner about 100m away from the lighthouse. The owner is friendly and the food is really good! The prices have gone up a little from older reviews, but are still reasonable. Highly recommend the Kotthu! It's amazing!

Just missed the 5th star. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is top quality. True price is good. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food with a view. Come up and sit down, staff are not always very attentive if you walk in and expect someone to greet you. Bathroom could have been cleaner. But aside form that, it’s pretty good.

The Kotthu was amazing also the cooler drink lime&minth. I definitely recommend to try. But we saw the photos on Google and our size of the meal was clearly smaller then we saw. Also we ordered the fried calamari and for 450 rupies there was only 5 calamaries. But still we were really satisfied and guys order the Kotthu even twice.

The chicken curry was really tasty. It came with small sides, which were also great. We also tried fresh watermelon juice and it was nice and refreshing! Overall, great experience and highly recommended!

The place is really great! It's actually on the rooftop and better to go there during the day time, because you can watch the ocean while having your food. But in the evening the restaurant looks beautiful as well, though you can't see the ocean, you can hear it😉 Kottu roti is the best and also they have good selection of coolers. During the dinner the owner of the place was talking to the guests, asking if everything is fine. Delicious food from reasonable prices. I highly recommend the place!

Great rooftop bar/cafe/restaurant for sunset and view of Galle Fort. The iced coffee and choc mint milkshake were the best we have had our whole trip. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we hope to be back for sunset!

The best kothu rotti I've ever had with an amazing view of the beach and sunset. Easily the cheapest place in the area too. Air conditioned inside and breezy even during midday on the patio. Service was attentive and had no issues with the modifications we requested for our drinks.

The best shrimps I've eaten in my life. I trully recommend!

Good & worth to try when you are in Galle Fort... the food price is reasonable & come with nice view facing to the fort wall.

If I can add one more star I would definitely do so! Small and cosy rooftop with sunset brings your experience much more authentic. We enjoyed the really perfect local food. The kotthu with cheese was delicious! We can only recommend.
