It was a weekend getaway, so we had already plans for the lunch in this place. Never been here before and never heard of, Since Our team "foodie expert" suggests this place with good confident we already had high hopes even before foot on Galle soil. we came here with a few of my friends looking for a change from the (lovely but needed a break) Juicy Burger! We weren't disappointed. I had the Shipwreck(Rs.980 - Sep 2018) and the other opted for Light House (Rs.1700 - Sep 2018), Texas Cowboy(Rs.750 - Sep 2018) & Bulgogi(Rs.950 - Sep 2018) burger all with chips in the side and a drink as we like, I choose lemon ice tea! We visited other burger joints in the vicinity as well. This burgers compares favourably with the competition but were not the best. Lovely upstairs setting. Friendly service and good burgers. Although not served standard with fries which makes this place more expensive than the competition. We shared each of others burgers and tested all. all the burgers taste ware really good super delicious, delicioso (; I falling love with the shipwreck burger since the layer of fish so thick and juicy. It has a little kit to it which is I really like. if you're really into fish things try this burger for sure. and Lighthouse, damn! That's border soo good. one of the best ever had in my life. meatware soo juicy, have a spice to it which is as we ordered. Grandma... ahh.. not the best thing on the menu. Bulgogi is okay. with Kimchi, its have a little sourness to it. The biggest plus point is, fries wasn't oily like most other fries you get around Colombo. But seriously, get the shipwreck burger, if the meat is not your thang five of us ordered 3 cokes and 2 Iced lemon tea, including me. It didn't take much time to understand the that was a terrible Idea. Ice tea was too bad. too bad. and even it serves in a plastic bottle. As for service, we can't really complain. The staff was super nice. They were very helpful in terms of helping us with our choices and our food was brought in around 20 - 25 minutes. Overall, we really liked our experience at The Original Rocket Burger. From food and ambience to quick service and hefty portion sizes, everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

I ordered a beef burger (Gringo) for 980 rs and added fries and home-made ice tea for 400 rs. Burger is good and ice tea taste great. Fries not so much. My only gripe is the tomato sauce taste funny (not your usual tomato sauce flavour). Other than that everything is great: the staff and ambience

I think they serve the best burgers in the town. Ordered the Korean style beef burger (can’t really remember the name) the cowboy burger. Highly recommend this place. Staff is super attentive and friendly.

Summary : a cool place to try some great burgers, slightly expensive but still worth it. Food : Gringo burger, pulled chicken burger and tiki burger along with fries and coke. ( Meal combo), berry ice cream The gringo chicken burger came with a generous helping of chicken and was juicy with the onion and Mayo. The tiki tiki burger is a veg Patty with the accompaniments. Both are recommended.The fries are a bit thick though. Ambiance : casual and Chic. Free WiFi is offered. Bright yellow walls with wooden seating. One table outside overseeing the street. Value for money : decent. Worth another visit since the meal was filling.Its a bit on the expensive side though.

Excellent burgers at a reasonable price. Fresh ingredients are cooked right in front of you. Boutique burgers are served with a side of rustic chips and home made ice tea! One of the best places to eat in Galle, highly recommended. Priced comparably to McDonald's, but the food tastier and fresher In my opinion, the best Burger joint in all of Sri Lanka! Venue is a bit small, and rustic. Not a problem at all for me, but venue can be improved!

Great value for quality food. The fish burger was fresh and came in a generous portion. Best burgers we've had in Sri Lanka, hands down.

I got a grandma's burger and a Texas burger combo. The burgers were pretty good. For the combo I got flamingo iced tea and potato fries. The ice tea didn't taste good. It is better to get a coke than the ice tea. The fries were too oily and soggy. The food presentation was not so good either. But the dining areas was cool and quiet. And the wifi is the best.

Rocket Burger is located at the first floor off peddler street (Near to Thomas Cook exchange). The ambience is nice and sober with extremely friendly staff. It has free WiFi here. As for seating arrangements, there are benches arranged inside as well as in the balcony. The prices of the burgers are reasonable and perhaps the best bet is to take combo (coke + fries) at extra 300LKR. The overall experience was very cozy. We had ordered Tiki Tiki, Gringo and Chicken Burger. The burgers were served pretty quickly and they tasted delicious. It is definitely recommended to visit this place. They do have take-out option. Additionally, this place is opened till 10pm.

The perfect hamburguer in Galle Fort! Juicy and delicious and the menu included a vegetarian option.

The burger was very nice uptown & Chicago style . The bun was soft and tasty . The chicken was cooked just right enough and perfectly . The environment is very artistic with all pictures of srilanka in the background . The guys serving were very kind and hospitable .

The worst burger we ate! We ordered 2 different burgers but there were no difference at all. Both were not taste as ‘original’. no taste at all.chicken was just boiled without any salt or pepper. We ate just the bun and came out. The service was also poor. Do not recommend this place.
