If you're looking for local delicacy this would be the place in Galle Fort. Lovely place with overlooking the city. Seems like a old Dutch building which is a good thing. Staff is very friendly, appreciate it. There's a open kitchen, could use more cleansing.

We discovered the restaurant because it was recommended by our tour guide and were very satisfied. The best curry we have eaten in Sri Lanka so far! However, it is spicy, otherwise you probably have to ask in advance. And on the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lighthouse.

We were the only guests in the late afternoon, we didn't feel like we had come at the right time as the waiting time was quite long. The cuisine of Sri Lanka is known to be spicy, but the dishes served were clearly "overdressed", well above what is otherwise served in the country. The view from the roof terrace is very nice, but I don't want to sit down in the dark dining room.

Nice view of the lighthouse and city. The restaurant is located in an old building with a wooden spiral staircase. In general, the atmosphere is conducive to a pleasant stay, and the prices are reasonable. There is local Lion beer for 500 Rs, which is also a big plus in a hot climate.

Good quality local food

Easy going place. I went there alone so the waiter kindly chat with me and offered me to freely use his scooter for a day. I had the tuna steak (not amazing) but the curries are wonderful. They sell beers.

Pleasant service, nice views, but possibly one of the poorest culinary experiences so far in Sri Lanka. Our calamari rings for 550 lkr were overdone, dry and the portion was minuscule. Coca Cola arrived warm. There are so many better places around to eat. Go for the views, not the food.

Amazing dinner! The place is really nice on a rooftop in Galle fort and The owner is very kind. The food is special: the curry are a lot and delicious, try the fried rice and fritters for desert( fried and caramelized fruit).
