As you step into this pizzeria, prepare to be captivated by the visually stunning surroundings that envelop you. From the warm, soft lighting casting a gentle glow on the painted walls to the meticulously curated decor that reflects our passion for artistry, every detail has been carefully crafted. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was just perfect – crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside. And the toppings! They were bursting with flavours.

Pizza was AMAZING! The sourdough base was just as good as any pizza restaurant in london and as good as I’ve had in Italy. Toppings were also as good as can be expected in a country where many ingredients are not easily sourced. All the staff were lovely and friendly and they had an adorable puppy too! Restaurant is very cute and has a good atmosphere. Only downside was that the tiramasu wasn’t great

Restaurant-level establishment. Price - 5. Not very expensive but not very cheap either. Atmosphere - 5. The establishment has its own concept, everything is very nice and beautiful. Service - 4. Eat & drink - 5. The best pizza in Sri Lanka. The owner is Italian, the dough is prepared by themselves.

March 2022, we were a couple visiting at 7 pm, for two pizzas, two mojitos and one small beer we paid 7000 LKR. Place is definitely hard to navigate to, maybe it's my ignorance, but I haven't noticed any sign neither on the road nor on the street indicating we're at the right place. We found a nice spot on the couch, probably the last one, otherwise it was crowded. Got our orders pretty quickly and enjoyed the atmosphere that was very nice. Place has no wi-fi, I mean I don't come to restaurants to surf on the internet, but during an hour plus long waiting for the food, you get kinda bored. Drinks were very good, hands down the best mojito we've had on Sri Lanka. So about the food, you can definitely feel, the sourdough pizza is made from quality ingredients. Dough itself was very tasty, although a little bit of salt would definitely help. But that's unfortunately all you can taste on the pizza. Other ingredients are very dry and dull, I couldn't really tell the difference which one I was eating. I get that oven baking is cool and traditional, but when guy has it on full throttle and doesn't really seem he can control it, the high temperature can dry the food pretty quickly. Our eperience in Pizza Hut, although corporate and in general much different, was more pleasant.

Place full of people, so many that some of them are standing and waiting for the table. No one is eating though. This is because it takes them around 10 minutes to prepare a single pizza, the oven is empty most of the times. We waited literally 1 and a half hour for a single margherita and seeing how many people are left to be served before us and how slow they are operating we knew that it would be another hour. We decided to leave before the pizza arrived.

We’ve been living in Sri Lanka for the past year and this place has the best pizza in the country by far. They’re better than any fast food pizza joint in the U.S. by far and very reasonably priced. It’s an open air atmosphere with seating outside and inside. The have a wood fired pizza oven where they use cinnamon wood and coconut shells to cook the pizza which gives it an incredibly fresh taste. Definitely recommend in your in Unawatuna or Galle. Power out? No problem…the fire keeps going and they put candles on your table, something you have to pay extra for in the U.S. if at all.

We enjoyed your cozy pizza place. Thank you. Great food and location. Bring mosquito spray if you're visiting at dusk ☝️

A pizza menu that is designed for high profit by the owner.. Don't expect to get any toppings that will add nutrition or protein to your meal. Poor pizza menu and overpriced.. He certainly has the knowledge to serve great tasty pizza and the right equipment, no complaints with the flavour... Just miserable with the menu, no tuna or meat other than chicken which is cut as thin as a piece of paper.. If you feel the need for a pizza by all means you will get your fix here. Go for the Margherita or pay more for a sprinkle of nothing. Sort it out and stop your greed.

Cute little cafe down Unawatuna rd. Ordered 3 pizzas. Speciality of the pizza here is that its wood fired pizza. Pizza was good but definitely can improve. Downside was that the staff doesn’t know much about the pizzas they serve. we asked what’s the pizza size is and the answer they had was “we actually don’t know, probably 9 or 11 inches”. That answer left us totally flabbergasted. And the menu had bottled water priced at 350 ruppes where we expected a sealed bottled water for the price we paid. But they served unsealed bottled water that has been filled by the staff themselves . Total rip off. Other than that the overall experience was nice, ambiance was great!

Terrible service. We waited more than 1h for our pizzas and we didn't even get a courtesy drink while we patiently waited for them... More customers were in the same situation, so it seems to be a common thing there People who were coming in to order a takeaway pizza were getting their pizzas faster than us who had been already waiting for an hour.. As for the pizza: it was overpriced, but good

I visited this place for the first time, ref. thru google. They have signature wood fired pizzas Italian style, for authentic pizza lovers. It was a day time & there was sudden power cut & they didn't have any power back up. So could not enjoy the meal in hot & humid atmosphere. Staff was very courteous! Food expensive compared to international pizza chains but authentic Italian taste.

The best pizza in Sri Lanka! Absolutely amazing. Totally recommend especially when you are tired with Sri Lanka traditional food and want to eat italian pizza but with some enhancements (we chose the one with garlic souce instead od traditional tomato. Thanks La Boheme!

Always nice to eat there , I recommend it , specially during low season as it’s quiet and nice atmosphere. I put 4 stars and not 5 this year cause the pizza and pasta we eaten were ok but not great and for the price we are excepting better! ( and more cheese on the pizza please ))

Wow this place is expensive! 3700 rupees for a pizza! Over a 1000 for a juice! Nice interior and wood fire oven for pizza. Nice staff

Pizza’s are great but they doubled (sometimes 3x) the prices within one year!? This is really insane. Pizza cost more than they do in Europe.. I would stick to local food next time

It’s was nice wood fire pizza, but Little bit expensive for pizza in Sri Lanka. We have in Hikkaduwa very amazing pizza all the time, and price much less..

Great fresh pizza. Friendly staff. Beautiful decorated. And great music choice. Prices bit higher for sri lanka standards. But worth it

It's the best pizza I ever had in Sri Lanka. I prefer a crispier dough but still, the pizza is tasty. The place is beautiful and the drinks are quite ok,as well. The burrata queen is my fav.

They got from us the 4 stars, because the taste was good of the pizza, but i would give them 2 stars, cause the reason why we went here, the pictures of the pizza was napoli’s style, but the pizza what we got it wasnt that, and it was way different like the pictures on the Instagram, and its also quite expensive. So if you want to eat a delicious pizza you can, but if you expect the pizza what they have at their pictures its will be a disappointment. Anyway the environment and the staff was nice!

I've been eating at La Boheme for several times now and I've never been disappointed! The pizzas live up to their reputation, super tasty, the dough is special, very airy a real treat, it's the only place where I eat the whole pizza with the crusts! I also recommend their ravioli, especially the spinach-ricotta 🤤🤤. It's a bit more expensive than elsewhere but considering the quality of the ingredients and the portions, it's totally worth the price. The best pizzas in Sri Lanka, for sure !

I saw some reviews on Facebook. So I went there. Ambiance is very nice. Very near the road by no distraction. Pizza is really tasty. It's very soft and can taste different tastes from ingredients. If at not busy time. You can ask for half and half. Fruite juice was really fruity and had a cocktail. It was amazing. Not so sweet. But not overtime get watery. Crushed ice and perfect. I also visit the other place that people suggest. Aqua pizza. That is also very nice. But I should vote higher for this one. Keep up the good food and service. PS: they accept only cash.

Pleasant atmosphere here. They made me really great drink, passion mojito. It took them more than an hour to prepare a pizza (vitamin sea) and it wasn’t good. It was tasteless, dough was raw and edges burnt. No wifi. I do not recommend this place for pizza.

The set up was neat, the atmosphere was charming, but the food…oh the food was devine. Not even in Italy, the mother of pizza, have I had something this amazing. If you want a break from curry on your travels through Srí Lanka, yet you don’t want to settle for something ordinary, you must go to this corner of paradise. Go now.

Firstly, the place: nice, clean, simple and cosy. Just perfect. Secondly, the staff: very nice, kind, friendly yet professional. They won't bother you unnecessarily but will ensure you have what you need. And thirdly but most importantly: PIZZA. It is absolutely fantastic. We ordered 3 different pizza's between 4 of us: 2 adults (1 big eater, 1 small eater) and 2 kids (1 pig eater, 1 try-to-force-me eater). There was NO way we could eat 3 pizza's. BUT. WE. DID. It was THAT good. Better yet, the little one, who has to be blackmailed into eating, DEVOURED 3/4 of Margherita without any fuss! Another point of observation: the pizza making chef was keeping his hands and dough making place continuously clean. Cleaned immediately afterwards. Didn't take any photos. Was too busy eating. Definitely 5 out of 5. Will be back soon.

Very cozy and atmospheric place with a really nice pizza. Level of a good Italian restaurant. All pizzas are made in stove with fire wood.

Insanely expensive price (more expensive than Europe). Bad quality/price ratio. Otherwise, pizza are good and it’s a nice place, but that does not justify the price !

The pizza was just average. I have had better tasting ones. Ambience is very good.

Amazing pizzas made in real firewoodoven. Excellent taste and toppings. Inside is a bit small, but there is some outside seating. 10% service charge is included so no tip should be needed. Unfortunately my waiter decided to keep the change without checking with me. When I asked for the change back they gave me back a wrong amount. I wanted to leave an extra tip on top of the service charge as I was really impressed, but not like this.

Wonderful place with fantastic Italian food. Pizzas that we ordered were like in the best Italian restaurants. High level of service, I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The Pizza was great but a bit expensive. But then they are not just ordinary pizzas as you can have various interesting creations next to the normal pizzas. Can recommend eating here.

Awesome food, we ordered quite a few different pizzas but after a while the sour door really fills you up and the dough feels a bit much. Else the taste and everything is top notch.

Literally my go to place when in the South. Stylishly decorated which sets the ambience just right. Sometimes I crave specifically La Boheme pizza ;) Their pasta's are great too!

I am sat here writing this review. The pizza is incredible. I grew up in Italy so pizza is sort of a big deal but if you like pizza, especially Neapolitan pizza, you need to come here. It gets busy so come early and you may have to wait but it is worth it. Literally one of the best pizzas I have had. Grazie.

😠 I visited the hotel 3 times. One is a family is trip. Other two are company trips. What I noticed during the trips was staff is not well--trained according to 5 star standards.
