Excellent food. The best tuna I tried. Fresh juices and milkshakes are delicious and without water. Passion fruit juice is very tasty. Recommend to try pancakes with mixed fruits and ice cream. Recommend this place. Good service.

We have visited this family restaurant on the way to the beach. The owner is very friendly and loyal to the guests. We can say for sure that the "Blow Hole" restaurant serves the most delicious fresh juices throughout Sri Lanka (without water and ice). We tried juice in large quantities and in various combinations. I would like to mention another sweet pancakes with bananas. And we liked the rest of the dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant to other tourists!

No humanity at all in this place. First we parked in front of this restaurant and paid for parking then went to check the beach area. It was crowded and we came back to this restaurant to have lunch once we went in the owner said he can't supply food for 7 people when there was few foreigners having lunch at the time. Then we asked can we use the wash room for a lady and he replied saying no wash rooms.. it seems he only wants to cater foreigners.. such a shame as a Srilankan of what he did..

Very affordable price. Tasty food

This place is a hidden gem. It can be reached from the road or via short stroll on the beach. We had a coffee, mango lassy, onion soup and the Sri Lankan curry with fish. It all tasted exceptional (even better than our lunch at the 5 star hotel Thaproban Pavilion Waves, the day before). The staff made us feel at home and even helped us to get a tuktuk ride. Looking forward to staying in one of their rooms next time we come to Unawatuna. Edit: Some reviews here suggest this place is only for foreigners. I have to disagree, as the owner was very happy when we ordered in Sinhalese.

The restaurant is ran by a family of husband wife and daughter who are extremely pleasant people. The portions are HUGE, the food is tasty, the prices are the lowest in the area and there are no hidden charges. One important thing to know is that if you see more than 3 tables with people waiting for food, you should ask about how long the food will take. Tom Yum soup (Sri lanka style, but much more flavor than anywhere else we've tried), the fried rice (not mushy), grilled chicken, and the pancake deserts were the best.

Prices are reasonable. The best juices in Unawatuna. Tuna steak is delicious

As I see, this is a family restaurant (I've seen only 3person who involved (cooker, manager, waiter). At the evening time it may be overcrowded, so you have to wait your order at about 40m-1h. But everything is tasty and portions are big, prices are reasonable. I recommend this place!

Absolutely love this place. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment for 8 nights. Only wish we had found it sooner. Kumar and his family provided us with everything we needed at a very good price. The restaurant is the best for the price and quality. We ate here many times. The ladies in the kitchen cook with love. We would highly recommend it.

We eat there 3 times. They have fantastic pancakes with banana. Huge portions, sweet family. We loved it very much.
