the room was large, very simple, and needed cleaning and some remodeling, otherwise a very chill stay someplace spacious

Probably one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. We had a number of problems, but the disgustingly dirty pillows and bedding was the worst. We moved in and noticed that the bedding was dirty. We were given clean bedding that still didn't smell or look clean. Furthermore, we made the bed and noticed that the mattresses were very dirty, but the pillows were absolutely disgustingly dirty, so we told the owner and she did nothing. The bad smell was so strong from the pillows that all four of us slept without a pillow. The kitchen was dirty, as well as the cooker and the fridge. We couldn't sleep there another night, so I spoke to both owners and showed them photos of the pillows and asked them if they would be happy to use them as a pillow, and of course they said no. So why do you expect your guests to use these dirty pillows. Also, the internet was not working, the water ran out while my daughter was taking a shower. We had to shower in a different room until they fixed the problem. Next morning, no hot water. If you have any self-respect, you would avoid this place.

Value for money. They got all basic facilities required. Clean spacious rooms with clean linen. Safe parking space. Walking distence to the beach. They dont provide food from the hotel, however there are many options available within 250m proximity

It's from the 500m to the beach but, But this rock house on top of the rock so it has good nice sea view. This room price is very cheap and it's very affordable for locals also. Thank you.

My wife and i stayed here 3days and it has been wonderful. The place offers a very unique lodging experience. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly, everyone without an exception has a welcoming friendly attitude which makes the experience even better. Clean rooms, well taken care of and quality food. Definitely would recommend and would return again.

A beautiful hotel near the beach. From what we could see, it is the best hotel in the vicinity, and the restaurant has the largest selection of both local and international dishes, and everything we tried was well prepared. The service was very good. We had the hotel breakfast, and enjoyed it. There was both local and internal dishes. The rooms were large, clean and made with quality furniture. The balcony was nice and I enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the morning and evening. The hotel itself is quiet, but some nights it was possible to hear song from parties on the beach. The swimming pool was nice and quiet, and we enjoyed relaxing in it after bathing at the beach. The beach was clean and not too crowded, the water warm and clear. The waves were however very strong at the shore, and it became deep within a few meters, however we never felt unsafe. We went bathing at several different times, and it was always nice. At 5 am it was dark and quiet, the water was warm and nice and we could enjoy a clear view of the night sky. Highly recommend.

Pretty decent, especially by Unawatuna standards; big rooms with a great big balcony in a really good location... the rooms are a bit tired but overall comfortable, and the owners are fairly helpful, although communication could have been a bit better

Umdoubtedly the best and highest location in Unawatuna. However food is not provided by default. The buildings are not attractive, enough staff is not there, setup of the room is unattractive. Cleanliness of the room is good. Free WiFi available.

An excellent hotel near the ocean, clean rooms, very unusual, the views are awesome. The staff is friendly.We'd love to come back here again.
