Sri Sudharmalaya Buddhist Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in Galle Fort. The temple includes a large reclining Buddha and a mini stupa dating back to 1889. The temple has an unusual design including a belfry which may indicate the existence of a church some time back.

If you're a Traveller, you'll definitely need to make it to the temple. Open to all factions of life, the temple has quite a bit of history and the artifacts and statues are of great historical value. Be respectful when entering since it is a holy place of worship

If you travelling around Galle you should visit the this beautiful temple in Galle Fort. You have to pass the Dutch hospital and light house and walk towards the clock tower and you will see this beautiful Buddha statue and the temple

Nice and calm buddhist temple in side the galle fort. Bo tree is just offside of the road .Buddha staure and stupa also very nice .its cool. In side the temple there are some wooden stature collection and its nice.please visit to here your next galle fort tour.
