The place is very beautiful but I give it 3 stars because you cannot swim there. The water has 40-50 cm and is full of rocks 3 meters away from shore. They have also a nice bar with restaurant. Sun beds are 500 rupee but if you order from the bar they are free.

A secluded little beach in mirissa. a very nice spot to chill and have a bath. Not much of a crowd. Excellent spot to view the sunset. It's a bit hard to find the correct path at the last bit, but can be easily found by asking from a local. There is a restaurant just near the beach as well. Can use it for food + beverages. Overall a very beautiful beach to spend an evening.

The beach is OK but you have to be aware where to park. We choose the last place (see pic) for our tuktuk and paid 200LKR. We came with full tank and they ripped off our petrol to ZERO! We were lucky we had some extra in a bottle to get to the next petrol station. Thx for nothing!

Located 2km from Central Mirissa Beach, the location is a bit hard to find, even with google maps the roads are a bit tricky. Best way to get there is ask locals you find on the road. A taxi from the main road to the exact point will cost you around Rs. 700 -1000 since the latter part of the roadis rocky and bouncy. There is a carpark located halfway into the journey, so you can park your vehicle there and take a tuk tuk which will cost around Rs. 500, also the parking ticket will cost you the same. Once you reachthe destination, the entrance to this placeis through a cafe/pub which offers you drinks like cocktails and other stuff. Also tjey have sun beds, tables and stuff you can have a sunbed if you buy anything from the cafe. The beach is covered with rocks and the waters are shallow and clear, you can snorkel there while having a quick dip. The location is out of this world and a must try when it comes to visiting mirissa.

Secret Beach in Mirissa, Sri Lanka is a hidden gem that stole my heart. Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this secluded haven offers tranquility and natural beauty. The pristine sands, turquoise waters, and lush greenery create a serene and picturesque setting. It's the perfect escape for those seeking privacy and relaxation. The calm waves make swimming enjoyable, while the breathtaking sunsets paint the sky with vibrant hues. Secret Beach Mirissa is a true paradise for those looking to unwind and connect with nature's wonders.

Me and my wife visited Mirissa secret beach one morning till midday. Way here is a lot off uphill first from Mirissa beach area and after downhill to the beach side. If you have a very very skillfull driver he will ride you 20 meter from beach. Most of tuk-tuk drivers stop 150 meter from beach but its ok also to walk from there. Maybe you wish also agree with tuk tuk a pick up time frop drop off location not to need walk you way back (you are on holiday so why not cuddle yourself and make you life easy..?). In 600 rupii tuk tuk will take to beach and back. I did not try negotiate about the money cos its really nothing. Road is hard to drive no matter way is no more than 1 km. For the beach there is 1 reastaurant that has sun beds in front of beach. Staff there enjoy arrach and sigarrettes so they are quite chill, i would say (it was ok for us). Beach has only small pool with shallow water and rocks around make it calm spot to lay down in water. This is Very popolar beach with small baby parents in morning time.. In pool you see nice variety of small fish swimming and on the rocks crabs and small fish jumping out from sea on rocks. Be carefull all rock areas locate dosens of black animal with full of spikes so carefull not to hurt yourself there. On the beach area big group of monkees visit the threes to eat fruits there. You can usually feel the wild nature by having small parts of fruits on you. But its nothing to be afraid, its not life treath because there is no coconuts on threes top of sun beads πŸ‘. Only lost stars for this review is a lot of small baby families here to shoot selfies 24/7.

Well I guess its' name describes how its situated. Not like typical beaches you can reach easily. To find the Secret Beach Just go through the Harbor Road and you can find the way to there easily. But the road is not very good. And there are some guiding boards mentioning "Secret beach" and showing the way. So its not that hard to find. Even the villagers would help too. Its a hidden place, very suitable for sun-bathing since there are less crowd and very calming. And there is a safer place to bath surrounded with rocks and low waves. In my photos I couldn't capture that place. Waves can be rough so please make sure to take care of your selves. Cheers Have Fun :) Make sure only to leave foot prints. **Please Don't polite this kind of beautiful beaches**

Really laid back small beach away from the crowds. Water is more clear than at Mirissa beach due to the large grain sand. There are two bars/restaurants that offer food and drinks for normal prices.

Magical beyond words! Hands down this is one of my favorite spots in mirissa ( technically whole down-south per-say, finding the road would be a little hard, and the road to get to this place is literally NO ROAD, I was on a defender a jeep both time I visited this place so I didn’t have a problem reaching. But please note that. Cars or any normal venivel other than 4*4 wheeler cannot make it to this place! I would rather parl the vehicle and walk down on the road if so. There are ample parking space! Around the area and locals are renting their houses for parking space for a small amount. They have a restaurant and a bar open on one side and the other side is completely filled with trees and a jungle beach vibes

Calling the place a beach isn't quite accurate. Its more of a rocky cove. A great place to see the sunset, but you can't go swimming here because the water is full of rocks and sea urchins.

Must visit place! Even if it’s stormy you can have a bath between rocks. Cozy bar with fair prices and all day music, hammocks and sways, kids friendly.

Picturesque hidden beach in down south, Sri Lanka. Safe to have a calm sea bath and the surrounding is peaceful since there are not much people in the premises.

1-lowest to 5 - highest Cleanliness :- 5 Space :- 5 Ambience :- 5 Staff/Hospitality :- 5 Parking :- 5 Comments :- A hidden gem with crystal clear waters and soft sand. The view is breathtaking and it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beach is not crowded, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere and clean environment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food and drinks served were reasonably priced. There's also a little hill to enjoy the sunset. A little off to the secret beach, which is about a 5-10 minutes walk. Ample space for working at the main road. The landowners will charge you a fee of LKR 200 for parking. It is about a 15-20 minutes walk from there to the beach. You also can take a tuk-tuk, which cost you around LKR500 (may be even less - depends on your bargaining power πŸ˜…)

Must visit this secluded beach with the most aqua blue waters and rock pools. There are hammocks, swings and a friendly shack with pretty cocktails and pretty decent food. Perfect for a relaxing long day with friends. Recommended

Lovely little bar tucked away in the coastal area bit of a trek to find it but worth the hunt with its own beach quite chill afternoon

Sunset is looking good. But cant see a wide sky range. But the beach is not recommended for swimming. In a one side water depth is about 1-2 meters and the other side there are not water barriers. So it can be dangerous . Not only that Muhudu Ikiri is a threat for swimmers. But Good place for sunbathe. The mean of this Secret Beach is totally achieved because reaching vehicle is too difficult through the narrow way to the place. But there is a vehicle park near the sub main road.

Lovely little alcove areas, rocks to climb on, and there are a handful of cafes / bars / restaurants. Those businesses also set up chairs / sun beds on the beach you can rent. The walk here isn't too bad with sneakers, pack your flip flops for the sand. It wasn't too crowded when I went. Definitely worth checking out.

Is it really secret if there are signs every where? :D When I went there during the afternoon I found it to be less crowded than the normal beach. I enjoyed that. The waves were pretty strong though. Like at every other beach there are bars around.

So calming and beautiful Highly recommended for travellers and nature lovers, who doesn't pollute the environment. I'm kinda glad that this place is not that famous If it was this place won't be pretty as it is at the moment The road to this place is bit difficult but it's totally worth it Love travel there again soon

Beautiful beach. A lot of views to take a photo. There are some bars near, where you can take something to eat or drink. Not suitable for swimming, not safe, due to the large number of sea urchins on the rocks under the water. Not easy to go there on the bike, you need to drive along the mountain road with sharp turns.

It was a wonderful magical place, worth a visit, even tough the hike might be harder. You can lay here in the water, at any season.

Normal small beach with small bars and strange access. I was here before breakfast so it was empty and bars closed, waves, ocean and rocks not ideal for swimming to me but some privacy and silent seemed nice.

The place is too good to get into water - it’s a 15 mins walk from the parking lot , the hotel around is extremely pricey , carry water bottles when ur around ; but peaceful and serene
