Nice beautiful place, but it's not really good for swimming, waves are too strong. There is a cafe where you can take coconut or eat something. It doesn't have any menu so is better to ask prices in advance. Host said that it would be enough to buy coconuts to use sunbed whole day, but then he changed his mind))) eventually two coconuts cost us 500rs and 1000rs more we should have given for sunbeds. Besides this there are no any infrastructure like toilets, showers, etc. It's quite wild beach.

It's a beautiful small beach, but little is open and free to sit and nowhere with shade. For unexperienced swimmers it might get rough as the ocean is a bit wavey. A relaxed place which is clean and soothing. Lovely sand and beautiful surrounding altogether. The beach is very beautiful with several restaurants and they would rent the chairs out free of charge if you eat there. The landscape is breath-taking.

The photos Iโ€™ve seen donโ€™t really show the beach properly. Itโ€™s a nice small beach, but very little of it is free and open for sitting (and nowhere with shade). Several decent restaurants will rent the chair for free if you eat there. The ocean is wavey and fun-maybe a little rough for inexperienced swimmers. We enjoyed it, but wasnโ€™t how the photos pictured it!

not for poor swimmers. the water is always wavy and there is no apparent rescue system (if the stream takes you, there is no boat on the shore to come help you). but the beach is well organized with comfortable chairs and shadow, good for sun bathing more than swimming. a big plus are the beach restaurants: everything is genuine and made from scratch using local ingredients. just order timely and be patient. there is even a small Spa at the end of the beach with very good service.

Superb beach. It has clear water, nice sand and some stone formation. The beach was not destroyed by mass tourism so far. There are not so many people and you can enjoy beautiful nature of Sri Lanka.

Yellow mellow beach bar is the best restaurant at thegoyambokka beach and they have fresh seafood. Also they have live lobsters. Staff is super friendly. Just go there and enjoy the vibe. Highly reccomended

Very beautiful beach with decent waves. The Bamboo Bar invites you for delicious chips and a beer. The beach is definitely a recommendation.

Very nice beach with a few restaurant on the beach (even in low season) that offer free umbrellas. Sea color was not that blue, but there was a lot of waves. Beaches is more crowded and smaller than silent beach.

One of the best beaches in the area. A lot of palm trees, a few coaches with umbrellas. The ocean however a bit wavy. A very good ambiance!
