It's called Tenavaram temple. But it is hindu temple named as THONDESWARAM. Ansian time there are five God Sivan temple in Srilanka, called as 1.Nakulesvaram 2.ThiruKetheeshvaram 3.Thirukoonesvaram 4.Munnesvaram 5.Thondesvaram. Nowadays Sinhala people change so many things in Srilanka. It's also changed as Tenavaram temple.

It's called Tenavaram temple. But it is hindu temple named as THONDESWARAM. Ansian time there are five God Sivan temple in Srilanka, called as 1.Nakulesvaram 2.ThiruKetheeshvaram 3.Thirukoonesvaram 4.Munnesvaram 5.Thondesvaram. Nowadays Sinhala people change so many things in Srilanka. It's also changed as Tenavaram temple. This was built by ravana king. There are so many books described about it. But now it is seems buddha temple. It is no more a tourist place.
