It housed nearly 10 - 20 monks in general & attracts thousands of devotees in poya days. Ideal place for meditation. This was once blessed with the presence of the most venerable Nauyane Ariyadhamma thero, who was one of the legendary Buddhist monks lived in the recent past. Current chief incumbent of the monastery is Ven. Badalkumbure Anuruddha thero.
