Although definitely not a resort, Leijay Resort is amazing. The bungalows are located in a beautiful lush garden full of beautiful birds, squirrels, and monkeys, which convinced us to come back to Leijays 5 times already. Leijays is (depending on traffic) approx. 12 minutes from Galle, 18 minutes from Unawatuna and 15 minutes from Jungle Beach. Tips for the area: - Visit Galle Fort. - Visit surf Beach for some surfing. - Go to Idle Bike tours for great bicycle trips - Go to Kat's Coffee for great coffee! - The Indian Hut offers great Indian food. Tip: Ask for the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. It's very tasty!

It was in a quiet calm place and the manager is also very friendly. The rooms and the bathrooms are also very clean. Stayed for 3 nights and got no complains

This hotel is located in a very cozy place. The staff is professional and can deal with many things you need. The pool is nice, and the room is also very cozy. All though we stumbled upon three cockroaches, a frog and many ants on our room. Here the staff was also very helpful getting rid of them. The restaurant is cheap and the food is good.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room we had was very big and the beds are comfy and protect well against the mosquitos of which you will find a lot anywhere. Bathroom and toilet were in ok condition as well. Don‘t expect a resort but rather a nice secluded place to stay. Good value for money with decent breakfast.

I'm was not there. But I heard about the palce as a lovely place to visit. There is a swimming pool and restaurant. Also nice looking and comfortable rooms for reliable prizes. If you lookimg for a massage you can additionally pay and get the service. It's just 20-25 mins driving from Galle to the location.

Beautiful rooms in a quiet location. Excellent breakfast and excellent hosts! The pool is also lovely!

It was an amazing stay myself and my two children really enjoyed it staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very nice, good size pool, location wise was great enough out of the way to be relaxing and still close enough to run into town good transport links bus station was a 7 min walk which was beautiful we saw lots of monkeys and other wild life, tuk tuk is only 600/700 rupes in to Gallie overall great stay and will be staying again, only down side is the WiFi wasn't great

We stayed here in January 2023 for 3 nights and I can highly recommend this hotel. The pool is amazing, the garden is huge and well maintained. The staff was so nice with us and our children

It's a great place to stay overnight, good and clean room,pool with lovely breakfast. Good service too. Not a fancy facade but a clean honest resort

I stayed at Leijay's in January 2023 for 3 nights and again in June 2023 for 28 nights. This is a great place if you want a good room, space, a garden, a pool and the most friendly and helpful staff.

Forget about the name Leijay Resort - resort was definitely used quite loosely here. It ain't a resort at all. The pool was ankle deep in the shallow end and probably waist deep in the deepest end - if that. The room was dark and dingy, mosquito nets had holes in them and showers basically dribbled and had zero water pressure whatsoever. Breakfast was literally some fruit and pieces of bread laid out on the table that you could toast. Sachet coffee and tea bags were the beverages available. The "resort" is quite a fair way from Galle Fort and quite isolated so we were lucky to have a driver with us to take us to and from places. It would've been a long walk to town otherwise. Two nights were more than enough here, definitely could not have stayed any longer. We booked this place based on seeing great reviews on booking sites and on TripAdvisor, but now don't know whether or not to trust reviews anymore! Honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Such a beautiful magical place. The location of this resort is peaceful and I had a pretty experience with this place.
