They ask you to pay for the exchange rate on that specific day but not what was mentioned in booking.com. This was not informed on arrival and so ended up paying about 10% more. The stay was otherwise ok but because of this, I would not recommend.

Good location in a noisy area. Cramped rooms with old furniture, a cool terrace, normal breakfasts, a peculiar hostess and a friendly administrator - that's all I can say after a couple of days of stay.

I had a very peaceful and calm stay at Muhsin Villa and it went well as i expected. Easy access to fort and was able to walk around anywhere at any time. Owners were very nice towards us and friendly too, they were flexible with our requirements. Great value for money 😊.

Really appreciate the service provided. We were group of three people and we manage to rest well without any disturbances. It has all facilities such as kitchen, tea coffee, filtered water and indoor and outdoor seating areas. The host is so polite.

We stayed at "Muhsin Villa" for 3 nights and it was a fine experience. The staff was very hospitable and assisted during our stay catering to all our requests. I enjoyed their breakfast very much, which even included hoppers, my personal favorite sri lankan dish. It was also delicious and plentiful. Overall, i had a great stay and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a b&b in Galle, for a reasonable price

Centrally located guesthouse, lovely staff, clean room with air con and a fan. Water and moisturiser in the rooms greatly appreciated as well as the kind friendly staff

The Guest House is situated in a convenient location. Very friendly owners. Room was worth the price we paid. Little kitchen are available for preparing tea or coffee. A spacious rooftop is available.

The stay wasn't amazing. We had to ask for soap, toilet paper etc... They have mentioned that they will give a water bottle per room per day and we never got it. Instead they asked us to drink tap water.😒 Worst of all at 12midnight the fan and a/c stopped working in the room that my parents were staying. They didn't get any sleep at all. and some of the rooms were dusty and some of us had to live on allergy tablets for the entire stay. The place can be maintained better. Overall we were not very happy.

I stayed her for two nights, in a single room. nice AC, good bed, very well located (try the espresso at barista) . The owners are really friendly and the breakfast is top. The rooftop is also perfect to read a book and chill. One think , I didn't like the normal bed sheet, but I got a new one with a soft skin.

We stayed 3 Nights in Muhsin Villa and had a really great time here. The location is perfect and the rooms are high quality, clean and well equiped. Showers are hot and with good pressure! The owners are super nice and very welcoming/helpful. We would definitly recommend it to friends and family! We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Galle!

Excellent location and the warmest hosts one could ever meet. I was here when the Colombo terrorist attack happened, and a country-wide curfew was implemented. The host family was extremely helpful and still managed to get me a driver since I had to catch a plane. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and tranquil at night. I strongly recommend this place as I myself will most certainly visit again. Muhsin Villa is one of those wonderful places that make Sri Lanka beautiful.

Nice little place to stay in the middle of Galle Fort. Ideal for a 1-2 night stay. Sweet host.

The place was clean and conveniently located in the centre of the fort. The rooms are air conditioned which is great, considering the humidity outside. I am thankful I was upgraded to a double room. There was a small lapse where my room did not have towels. Do remember to bring shower gel and shampoo as only a bar of soap is provided. Otherwise, my stay was enjoyable.
