We had a lovely 10 night stay at this property. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful and quiet. Spacious rooms and lovely pool. Food was delicious- I would recommend ordering dinner from the property also if you don’t feel like going out. Most of all the service was fantastic. Owner is very friendly and clearly tries their best to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. Only a short tuk tuk drive away from all the important places. Highly recommend for anyone who prefers accomodation away from highly touristy areas but still close to everything.

We stayed there for one night. The place was nice and calm. We booked one Shaley and one tree house. The tree house was in the middle of a tea plantation and it had one separate room with one common room. We were somewhat disappointed about the maintenance. Since the beding s and washrooms was not well cleaned. And there was no toiletries as well. Service was bit late. We had to wait some time to get the BBQ started. Other than that we had a pleasant stay without any disturbance.

Really a nice place I have been to in down south in 2018 but feel like in up country. Just near the rush in town, cannot guess for a calming place like this. The owner Nipuna is very friendly & supportive at his best. A morning in a tea estate is amazing. Chalets are spacious & nature friendly.

Reserved place with a very good atmosphere and interesting design. Connected to the nature. Basically you have a feeling you live in the jungles. Very good hospitality of staff and owner. All problems addressed were solved fast and professionally. Staff is careful and mind your comfort stay 👌🏻

Went with friends and the place was not up to our expectations for the price, the food was not good, the water stops from time to time and it was very inconvenient. Overall not a very good experience.

This place was way more expensive for the quality of service they offered, the only the nice thing was the bill, the invidual accomodation houses were not maintained and had major electrical and water issues. Bathrooms were not maintained The pool was not very clean and looked unmaintained. The worse thing was food the lunch was just a ordinary fried rice with a chicken devel, they charged extra for dinner BBQ where we had to bring meat,although it was not done by an experienced chef. Breakfast was hopeless and was served late beyond time, owner demanded us to checkout at 11am next morning. Not recommended for the price you pay. Way too expensive.

A best place for a family holiday! & A MUST VISIT! The location is calm and quiet, being in the middle of a tea estate, you would never imagine that it's situated on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The landscape, surroundings and its architecture is so much unique and stylish that we really enjoyed the location. Loved the chalet specially. But the tree-house and other rooms were also superb. The Rooms were very clean and spacious. The washrooms were even so clean. We ordered Sri Lankan cuisine and everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. We booked the entire Villa, and should say that the location is perfect for a family gathering. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. The Air conditioner of our room did not work, but the staff quickly attended to it. We always felt at home and this was one of the best Villas we visited! Special thanks to the owner, Mr Nipuna, and to his staff for the friendly and supportive hospitality. All the best!

One of the Best place in down south to stay relax with your own bunch. Nice surrounding and such a great place with best hospitality.

Accommodation is nestled amongst tea trees, large bamboos and jackfruits. Lots of wild life including monkeys, squirrels, birds and if you are up early enough you might see a mongoose. Didn't give room a 5 star because the lights and some blinds need fixing. Otherwise, would recommend the place.

Very calm and quiet place. Excellent nature friendly accommodation and friendly staff. But the sad thing is the lack of proper maintenance. However we enjoyed our stay.

We tried their newly opened restaurant “the local” . Their homemade beef patty was amazing. Nice and Juicy well seasoned beef. Other dishes were also great. Will definitely visit again.

We had the most amazing stay in The Country House Galle. The accommodation is beautifully set and surrounded by a tea plantation with beautiful rooms. The owners and staff are truly incredible, friendly and accommodating.

Stayed at the property for one night. Owner Mr. Nipuna was so polite and addressed all concerns in a proper professional manner. Nipuna’s staff is also well disciplined and helpful. Mr. Roshantha and Hasintha worked hard make our stay at Chalets a memorable one. I would recommend The Country House if you want to have a proper privacy and a good time with your loved ones. Well I went with my husband and my 9 months old baby, room was small and haven’t maintained it properly, old AC which was going auto off all the time, so much of flies in the day time and night time it’s mosquitoes (we didn’t get a proper sleep at all) 🙄 and also we ordered fried rice for lunch but they gave egg rice no veggies has been added, not worth for the money, liked only the trees and the fresh breeze 🤌🏼
