We
were
30
people,
we
booked
4
nights
and
spent
4
nights
at
Wirdana,
between
January
8
and
12.
The
place
is
gorgeous
and
architecture
of
the
villas
is
really
cool.
However
the
service
is
terrible.
Here
are
some
of
the
negative
things
we
encountered:
-
The
staff
tried
to
help
but
didnât
speak
English.
The
manager
wasnât
helpful
at
all.
We
had
to
call
and
ask
for
basic
things
all
the
time
and
couldnât
get
anything
in
time
(like
soap
in
bathrooms,
new
towels,
room
service,
cutlery
in
the
villas,
water
bottles,
etc.)
-
breakfast
was
below
average.
They
eventually
discounted
the
âextraâ
eggs
we
ate,
but
compared
to
Sri
Lankan
hospitality,
this
place
gets
1/10
-
the
villas
were
nice
but
no
service,
no
cutlery,
no
plates..
we
thought
we
could
at
least
make
a
drink
in
the
villa
but
it
was
impossible.
-
the
location
is
far
from
anything
and
there
were
not
always
tuktuks
waiting.
-
AC
in
rooms
either
freezing
or
shuts
down,
and
staff
couldnât
help
-
electricity
kept
going
off
every
time
we
two
showers
are
used
in
the
same
villa.
Could
be
the
power
load
is
not
adequate..
-
we
tried
to
book
taxis
through
the
hotel
and
the
manager
always
gave
us
x2
prices,
saying
itâs
âhigh
seasonâ
and
âholidaysâ.
We
travel
around
Sri
Lanka
for
the
past
8
years
and
never
had
such
problems.
-
overall
the
place
is
beautiful
but
the
staff
is
not
enough,
not
well
trained,
and
the
manager
is
arrogant
and
not
very
helpful.
I
told
him
everything
I
wrote
here
and
I
gave
the
feedback,
which
he
had
explanations
for,
but
this
is
what
we
experienced.
Overall
we
had
a
great
time
with
our
friends
(of
course,
itâs
Sri
Lanka
đ)
but
we
expected
a
lot
more
for
the
6000$
we
paid!
