Best hostel in this area. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and convenient. Meals are very delicious and full of the options. You couldn't find any place like this in this price range in the area. 🚴

Love it ♡ I stayed more than I panned because the place is nice, the people are friendly, the manager is lovely and helpful, they have activities like yoga, shared dinners, games and more, it's well located close to the train station and bus stops, each bed has their own fan, light and locker. It's a place with good vibes 🫶

Affordable but very uncomfortable hostel. The fans don’t quite cool the rooms down as intended and the location is very awkward

Stayed in the 12 bed dormitory, the lack of door was a little random and no doubt unnerving for some people, however being only two of us in the dorm it didn’t matter. The beds were comfortable, showers good and the breakfast excellent! In fact the breakfasts were HUGE and definitely worth the money. The guys running the place were a lot of fun and it’s a shame we couldn’t spend the Christmas period with them! Would definitely stay again

Very nice hostel! friendly family as well as staff! I booked 2 nights and stayed longer than a week. I felt like home and made new friends there :-) the 6 dorm rooms even have fans by the bed! the hostel is close to the Railway Station, do not worry, the trains do not bother at all! perfectly located to walk all the beaches as well as visit the cities around. I will come again! :-)

Cycling Hostel Unawatuna, is one of the best hostels in down south. I met such a wonderful, respectable and friendly loving staff☺️. Cleanliness ✅safety ✅with an amazing atmospheres, very cozy and comfortable place. Easy access (walk in distance) to the beach and other incredible excursions (i.e. Jungle Beach, Rumassala Sanctuary, Dewata - Beginners surf schools, Galle Fort and 5minutes walk to the Unawatuna Railway station etc..) too. I would highly recommend this place. Also, will definitely revisit them soon💕

This is one of my favourite hostels in Sri Lanka, the people are welcoming, friendly, and sharing. Most people including myself extend their stay or come back as it has a chilled atmosphere. Usually the 18 bed dorms have 3-5 people so they are sociable and will chill in the shared areas together. Evenings full of chilled music, good vibes and caram. There are more reviews on google and booking .com as I noticed there aren’t any on here. Definitely one to check out. Surfing and diving close by.

I have travelled whole Asia and I must say that this place is by far the best hostel in Sri Lanka and one of the best hostels in whole Asia. It is just a few meters from Unawatuna train station which connects to North and South. it is not so far to the beach and if you rent a bicycle which is half price for Hostel guests, then so many beautiful beaches are at your reach. They serve an amazing FREE breakfast, big and delicious with real butter, real bread, banan shake , fruits everything! The rooms and the whole hostel is super clean and tidy. there are enough showers and toilets on each floor. they have a communal kitchen that you can use and cook your own food! If you are into snorkelling and diving they know best dive centres with good prices! They themsleves also have so many activities like cycling, fishing etc. the staff are really helpful, friendly and polite! they have reliable WIFI. It is the cheapest accomodation in Unawantuna. And finally they are a local family business which is always great to support!

The place is clean and tidy next to the railway station. The owner is helpful . The place is peaceful.

We were very satisfied It was very clean. Enough space in the rooms, heaps of lockers. Super nice people and a nice common area to hamg around. Everything is easy in walking distance 💪☺️ the owner also helped us were he could :)

Proper hostel, modern clean facilities and nice relaxed atmosphere. Very accommodating owner, didn't mind rearranging furniture for me. Communal fridge! Very important. Good spot to chill downstairs. Really nice fan in the bathroom. Breakfast is goood :)

Owner is amazing and honest unlike some people who just want to scam you.. It's right next to the railway station and 5 mins walk from the bus stand! I stayed here for 3 nights, they have great staff here.
