STALE CRAB MEAT , THEY SAID IT WAS CATCH OF THE DAY BUT THE MEAT IS RUBBERY AND CHEWY , TUNA WAS JUST OK . NOT A PLACE RECOMMENED OF YOU WANT FRESH FOOD.

I am so happy I chose to stay at this truly unique hotel. From the delicious food, to the service and entire stay, our experience was wonderful. We had a 11 month old baby with us as well and I have to say staff and the manager were extremely accommodating making sure she was comfortable as well. Rooms: We stayed in double and triple rooms which were spacious and clean. I particularly loved how all the room accents & colors, the view from the room facing the Rumassala hill and the hotel surroundings matched with their whole “nature trails” theme. Very calm and relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to use their pool but saw quite a few guests it enjoying it as well. Food and drinks:The food was the highlight- fresh and full of flavour. Don’t forget to have their amazing fried rice with the famous sri lankan hot butter cuttle fish and juicy prawns, truly amazing. I also had a craving for authentic sri lankan cuisine of rice and curry/ string hoppers and even this lived up to my expectations with the taste and freshness. There was also a Thai prawn curry that we had ordered which I enjoyed most of all. Drinks were quite reasonably priced as well. Service: Very attentive, friendly and hospitable staff. I also appreciated how the staff went to great lengths to keep the place tidy and clean especially with pandemic concerns these days. There are sanitizer dispensers wherever needed and the common washrooms for the dining rooms were cleaned a few times. The manager and staff were ever ready if we had any questions or concerns to help out Overall, a great place to stay with family and definitely will be our first choice on our next visit to Sri Lanka!

Good food and service. They are just opening up after the Covid closure so service was a tad slow. But the taste and quality of the food easily made up for it. Reasonable prices too. A very good alternative to the usual Galle Fort eateries

In my point of view, Without any doubt one of the best and favorite hotels I stayed during my leisure and vacation time in downsouth sri lanka... Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and also the staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate it) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special gratitude. We had great experience with supperb service from Nature Trails. And also highly Recommend to all....🧡🧡🧡🧡

Nature Trails has always been one of my go-to spots when visiting Unawatuna as their service and delicious food is simply hard to beat! Besides the variety of options of food and the amazing team, the actual location is also one of the highlights as it is nestled adjacent to the hill that you can "trail" across to the beautiful and secluded Jungle beach. Aptly named I would say! Also a great place to enjoy a cool refreshing drink by the pool! Shame we haven't been able to travel due to covid-19 travel restrictions. But I am eagerly awaiting my next visit to this fantastic spot.

Nature Trails is must go boutique hotel if you are visiting Sri Lanka. We make sure to visit every time we travel to Sri Lanka. You can find the best Sea food here and the taste is exceptional. One of my favorite dishes is the hot butter cuttlefish. The manager and staff are excellent and very friendly. Alcohol and drinks are well priced and pretty reasonable compared with other hotels. Thank you very much and we looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

The manager resembled a miniature Basil Faulty! What restaurant doesn’t carry gin or vodka in stock. In stead waiter purchased a half bottle of gin without reference to price. We even served the drink ourselves. It was put on the table charged treble the price!!!! We were also charged for ice. The waiter was excellent. The food was good. However, one now understands why a restaurant with 80 covers is empty. The manager, when challenged, was unbelievable obnoxious. Laughable was held back by his staff. Sadly this is local to us and would have used it regularly during our two month stay. What a narrow sighted manager.

I truly had an amazing time at Nature Trails. The key highlight of our stay, was the amazing food.Hands down one of best places in Sri Lanka where I had flavor packed good seafood ! I would highly recommend their spice infused crab curry, crispy hot butter cuttlefish and jumbo prawns that just coats your taste buds. Not to mention their reasonably priced drinks. The ambience of the place, hospitable staff, and attention to detail made the experience a memorable one .

Fantastic hotel

An ideal place for a vacation. Everything was calm and peaceful. The food was Amazing, don't bother to go out looking for places to eat, because their food is yummy (unless you want to see what other have to offer). If you want a place to stay, don't think twice about this place, it's clean and has a beautiful view of the mountain and their pool. It's a thumbs up from me.

Nice hotel at Unawatuna. Quick and delight service and nice foods. Easy access to main road. No direct access to sea but can reach sea in short time. Rooms are good and clean.
