This is one of the best villas collections in Galle and it’s truly amazing. We loved the peaceful environment since the arrival and the welcome was friendly and nice. We booked this property for our anniversary and luckily we got a room upgrade, to Kumbuk Villa and it was stunning. The villa itself was well equipped and comfortable with all the modern amenities. Pool is one of the best things among it. Only concern we had was the meals, because there was not much variety to select in the set menu and Sri Lankan meals were not available. Other than that meals were delicious and the service was great. We love to visit again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Such an outstanding property!!! The rooms are magnificent, and the nature and animals and landscaping are immaculate The yoga instructor/ masseuse is divine! The whole staff is so friendly It was truly difficult to leave! Can’t wait to go back

Fabulous hotel. Gorgeous and very private villas in a working tea estate surrounded by jungle. The wildlife and birds are amazing and the views are incredible. Sometimes you wake up and see peacocks or a mongoose wandering outside your window. The villas are beautifully appointed and decorated by a very talented interior designer. Service is absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The chefs are very flexible and will make you delicious food even if you have many allergies like me. Wifi works really well and if you have any issues they give you your own router for your villa. I quarantined here and they got me anything I needed, from medication to hair colour. Cannot recommend this boutique hotel highly enough, it’s unique and the environment and service make it unbeatable.

Amazing getaway away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Food was great and staff very hospitable. Their WhatsApp assistance during the stay is seamless and efficient. The pool villas are great for an isolated and peaceful holiday. Looking forward to be back :)

This place is highly misold as a luxury place but in actual fact the service is quite poor. Food had to wait over an hour and they kept getting it wrong, no decent food and remember we are in Sri Lanka where the food is amazing but definitely not offered here. Attitude slightly stinks here, I get a sense they try to adopt a too posh and snobby attitude when serving guests. Really appalled. Avoid this place honestly plenty of decent hotels around Galle which are much more appreciative for your custom.

Dream Holiday Destination. We had perfect Holiday. Luxurious yet Blended with Nature, Villas. Good food and most of all exceptional Service.

Nice hotel which is situated on a hill and with nice view

Location is far away from Colombo but if you need to spend a time within a nice and calm environment, this is a good place to stay. Prices are reasonable and service is not really good but okay. The management should improve the quality of service.

I highly recommend Kahanda Kanda for any honeymooners, the place is scenic, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the food is top notch. The only issue I had is that internet and cellular network are not the best but this can be considered a good thing if you want to disconnect. P.S. Better book from them directly as they offer better rates than booking.
