Location is just ACE! The staff is lovely, food is amazing - shower & rooms super clean, swimming pool and great chill area. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in Midigama this is your spot ! Tip : while travelling please make sure you’re supporting the local community - this guesthouse is owned & run by a Sri Lankan Family :)

Very good people running the place. Food is great and cheap. Location is good, and the train is hardly noticeable. Rooms are good, could get a little hot sometimes . Overall very very recommended to any one , solo or group

Very nice place, great hospitality, 50m from the beach. The food was good, but the included breakfast wasn't. The railway is right next to the place, but it wasn't a big problem.

Awesome place, Asanka and his family took great care of us, we spent Christmas there and he made a fantastic spread for us. Very secure, night security. Spent nearly two weeks here and met some great like minded surfers. Super chill and nice rooms, not fancy but clean and plenty good enough for budget conscious surfer travellers. See you again some time I hope Asanka. Yewwww🤘

Nice surf accommodation. Close to lazy left. 2 min walk. Can see waves from 1st floor. Expect what you are paying for, i.e. It's not a 4star hotel, more like a back packers. Great place for people learning to surf and the wave in front is very chilled.

- Great location! A little away from the main road so it's quiet and easing going, but right between and walking distance from 4 great surf spots of midigama. Only close the train track, but the train isn't going that often and hard - Nice atmosphere and a common area with a view on lazy right surf spot - Very nice yoga place with good yoga sessions - Very friendly staf

We became what felt like family with Asanka and all his lovely staff (who are actually Asanka's family!). They worked hard to be available for guests requests at all hours throughout the day, 7 days a week. Asanka is a warm character, sociable with the guests, and able to help with anything. This has to be one of the friendliest hostels i've ever been to, all the guests rfom around the world were super nice, we all had a meal together one night. It felt like 'coming home' when we arrived back at Asanka's house. The food was delicious, we recommend the dhal and prawn curry. We will definitely be back! Heartwarming experience.

Nice place ould use some proper renovations to make it better... Toilets are broken and they have horrible breakfast
