A highly recommended place to stay at Galle. The Sinhalese couple who are the owners are very sweet. This unit is a full apartment with 2 rooms, a kitchenette and washroom. Spotlessly clean rooms and washroom. It was late and we were very tired but the owner went all the way to find a place for our driver too in a nearby place which belongs to her sister for a cheaper price. Nilushini was kind enough to offer us coffee and tea early in the morning. Very hospitable. Will highly recommend this place. Non Ac but could manage with the fan. We slept peacefully.

I booked the top floor with Nilyusha - bedroom, living room and kitchen. for 2 weeks, and we stayed for 3 months. Because I didn’t want to leave anywhere. Nilyusha was wrapped in care and fed delicious breakfasts. Sometimes I took delicious dinners. Over time, I realized that we began to eat in restaurants and cafes less often - because Nilyusha’s food tastes better, and after eating at restaurants, we get heartburn. This is a very kind family. They helped me with all my questions. All you had to do was voice it and there was good advice on how to do it better and cheaper. When my child fell ill (that month many children began to have a fever), Nilyushin’s daughter Keshala helped a lot in the hospital. Just like being under the wing of an angel. The house is very clean. There is air conditioning in one bedroom. We fed the smart monkeys who came to visit us in the trees. Lights are turned off for very short periods. For a few minutes and very rarely. And for this occasion there are candles in the house. Sufficiently fast internet. 30-40 MB. Suitable for remote work. There is very good water pressure in the house and there is a backup option in case of a city water outage. There is a good Ayurveda doctor near the house. A real one, not a tourist scam like in the spice gardens. There are a couple of cafes nearby where you can eat at local prices. There are a couple of good English courses for children close to home. Price is $1 per lesson. 🤗Nilyusha also has a tuk-tuker, which carries at prices lower than Uber. Everything for comfort and joyful living and immersion in real life. Nilyusha sincerely loves her guests and gives more than she should. We miss you and remember with warm words ❤️

A simple and beautiful homestay. The landlady is very concerned about the well-being of her guests. Breakfast is available by arrangement. I recommend the local breakfast. It takes 25 minutes to walk to the fort, and it only takes a few minutes by TukTuk. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't need luxury and is looking for an inexpensive, clean place to stay.

Nice and clean room with attached washroom. The place we stayed in was a two bedroom set with one room with air con. Very nice and well equipped kitchenette. The lady is very humble and polite and made us amazing breakfast. Although it's right in the residential area best if you have hired a vehicle but really lovely place. Super market and restaurant near by the place.

Me and my wife had an extremely comfortable night here. The owner was lovely, she really did make us feel welcome. When she found out my wife was in the early stages of pregnancy she even made sure the tuk tuk drivers who picked us up drove extra carefully! Our room was not fancy but well worth what we paid. It was the only place that we stayed which had working aircon, a decent shower and a mosquito net which didn't have a load of holes. Thank you Jayalath Homestay for having us :)

Me and my wife stayed over night. It was a business trip. It was clean room and peaceful place. Owner lady Nilusha very warm and polite . She very helpful to look after guest's needs. Sri Lankan breakfast was simple but tasty. Highly recommended for who wants to feel the Sri Lankan hospitality. Value for money

Do you want to meet your long-forgotten Sri Lankan auntie? Nilusha is her. She is an extraordinary woman, host who run this place alone. She is extremely attentive to each one of her guests, very caring and kind. In addition to B&B, she helped us multiple times with arranging Tuk-tuks, she made us a dinner (a special request for additional price), as my husband couldn't eat spicy food. I highly recommend this warm home!

Nilusha, the lady who runs the place is extremely helpful and very welcoming. Its a lovely old dutch style home - very comfortable and peaceful. The best part is that its close to the Fort and the local market area.

Great place to stay. The owner she was so kind and sweet. And the charges are fair. Her charges includes room charges and the breakfast. And its near to town where you can walk to the town.

Awesome homestay.We have spent there three days.Owner is so kindnes and polite.She services various and big portions breakfast and if you wish for additional money(cheap)delicious dinner.A room was ordinary but clean and there was good working ac.20 minutes a walk to Galle Fort or 200 Rupies for tuk tuk.Neighbor homestey rent motorbike 1500 Rupias per day.One of the best places I had stay in Sri Lanka

We had a very nice stay at this amazing Homestay, we felt very welcome and had some nice talks with the owner. The room/studio is so spacious and well quipped and offers all you need.The accommodation is located in a very quite familiar living area, walking distance about 30 minutes to Fort Galle and Old Centre. It's a very green area around and there is also a terrace area in front of the room. The family is super nice and warmhearted. We come again soon. :)

Nilusha is a very warm and helpful host mom. The apartment is clean and in a good location, especially for Karapitiya Hospital students. You can also highly recommend their rice & curry and breakfast :)
