I know some times you'll find cheap seafood and comfort places but place like this with natural and fresh foods you should try one's. Because of small kitchen sometimes you will get food not so fast but it's worth to wait..

If you think the photos are too good to be true, you are right - IT IS EVEN BETTER in real life! Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. We worked remotely from here and it was literally living the dream of remote work life - the room is very modern, spacious, they provided everything we asked for, the view is breathtaking. They don’t have fiber wifi but the Dialog 4G router worked well, even for video calls. The restaurant serves amazing food and they are willing to twist the meals for you to be happy with it 🥰 The staff are delightful and we really felt so welcome here. We would go back in a heartbeat if we could! One thing to note is the sandflies, as very few people come to this beach, there can be sandflies especially on moody days. Use DEET based repellent, citrinella won’t help :) But this is just a heads up, no fault of the hotel - we are on a tropical island after all! 😍

This place is a godsend for body and soul. Very tasty food, sincere guys and excellent hookahs. Beautiful beach with swings and a turtles. The atmosphere of relaxation and absolute happiness. There is a microphone and you can sing karaoke or dance right on the sand to cool music. I dream of returning to our La Curumba. Thanks Dinesh and guys!

Awesome place. It is great to chill here in the palms garden at the shadow with a great view on a beach and ocean. You will definitely keep this memory in your heart for a long long time. Food is very tasty, doesn’t matter what you’ll order, everything will cooked fresh and with best quality. We are currently here with my wife and coming here every day and ordering new dish everyday. Every time it is a good and pleasant surprise.

This is one of the most beautiful places around! Lovely stuff and so helpful, every time smiling. They also have some rooms to rent with an amazing view, super clean and really good beds! Our favorite place in Sri Lanka AND the best thing - you can get a really good massage :)

this is the best place not only in Ambalandonga but in Sri lanka tho! Best place to chill best place to eat, people in here are the most hospitalarius people in ambalandonga so nice with amazing produkts for eatint, great beer and service. If u pass ur laast month working like hell or hangin out and partying like wild this is the place to kome for chillin in the beach with an amazin service, good people and great food tho check this place for peace, stay true folks!

Great hotel and great cafe. The view from the hotel to the ocean is impressive - it is the most beautiful view of the ocean that we managed to see from the window of the hotel in Sri Lanka. Hospitable host ready to help in any wish. Despite the big waves on the south coast, it was possible to swim in the ocean. Definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to couples and families for a relaxing holiday. You will definitely love La Kurumba!

It's one of the best places in Ambalangoda I've been living in here for 1 month and I can say that La Kurumba is one of the best places in this town. Dinesh is extreme hospitable and can speak well both Russian and English languages! Seafood is awesome and always fresh here. The is beach is near and you can swim while your food is cooking (actual for breakfast).
