Yula Beach hotel was very clean and demanding, the staff kind and friendly. We got what we expected. The location is also very advantageous because you can reach everything by walk or by scooter. Only the breakfast selection was poor, necessary to improve.. Kindly recommended :)

We discovered the Yula guesthouse from the beach and loved the glassfront that the ocean view rooms had, so we asked for the rate, got a good rate and moved out of our old hotel into this one. The Hotel doesn’t look like on the Google pictures, it has been renovated during the Pandemic and has a great new look. Great room, spacious, good equipped with safe, sofa and minibar. A very nicely spacious bathroom. All in all a super price performance. Breakfast was always a bit different but very good. Staff was very nice.

Yesterday I have visited Yule beach Restaurant with my family to getting Lunch. Beautiful place. but no words to tell about their quality of foods and service. Provided STALE SEAFOOD RICE and it was expensive than other Restaurant. stale foods Provided at High Prices. also, they Provided onapprovel bill. no rubber stamp. not mentioned hotel name on the bill, they don't have excuses and balance payment not given..totally unsatisfied Service. discipline is very low. waste our valuable time. NOT RECOMMENDED.WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAD IN MY LIFE...🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Couldn't say anything negative about the accomodation. Clean, friendly and welcoming. My review refers to the cheating price - we didnt book online and got told about 4000lkr on the day of checkout the Hotel insisted us to pay 6000lkr. This destroyed our experience and left us with a fraud. No such practise a Hotel should act up on... Very sad.

Even though the hotel looks nice, customer service is ZERO! The owner is too rude and he never listen to you. Do or die type owner who spoils the hotel. Will not recommend for family stay since the owner will not be helpful at all for sure!

Of course, you can enjoy the beautiful Hikkaduwa beach if you book this place since they have beach access with no blockers. When you go to the place on the map, you might see a house but don't worry the hotel is behind the house. You don't have enough parking there, but they will arrange a safe area near the hotel. I enjoyed one of the largest room spaces at Yula hotel and it was nicely arranged with all the required luxuries. It was amazing hospitality and make sure to have their delicious breakfast.

We went with my husband, we did late check in, the guy who open the dorm for us doesn’t speak English at All, no Internet, till next day at 10.00 am because the Owner is the only one who has password… we wanted also rent a Tuk Tuk and the contact the Hotel gives to us was super unprofessional and rude. Also breakfast is really poor and full of fly. I go Sri Lanka Often, I will never visit this place.

Stayed for one night with a child. The AC doesn’t work, no hot water , many insects in the room and terrible noise from the road. The food is not fresh. When we said we would go to another hotel and pay just for one horrible night, the manager was very rude and asked to pay 100 US dollars otherwise he would call the police.

Good accommodation for a fair price with the superb sea view

Very poor service. Lazy owner and waiters just sit at the chairs and talking all day. Nobody comes to the sunbeds to take an order, if you want to drink something you need to come to the fridge and take it by yourself. They forcedly extra charge you for nothing. Be careful, never stay here and never eat here.

We stayed here for 2 days and it was an amazing stay. We stayed in Sea View room and it was beautiful..Right on the beach and close to everything. The only problem was they don't accept Cards.

Very good accommodation for good price. And amazing kitchen for dinners. Me and my friends we spent there Christmas evening with very amazing dinner! Owner and personnel of this hotel are very kind people. Don't miss this in the middle of Hikkaduwa!

We spent a month at Yulas with our 2 kids. We have only good things to say. The family and staff are great and create a welcoming atmosphere all day long. They are always there to organise day trips or longer , all at a reasonable rates in very good vehicles. The Hotel is cleaned continuously and is spotless. There’s always someone around , which means security is spot on, we had no worries with our kids being out of sight. The breakfast is totally amazing and the kitchen is open all day. The location is perfect for surf and family beach, and far enough away from the parties to be quiet at night. We felt very welcome and the staff made our holiday very comfortable. We would highly recommend Yulas for a quality stay in Hikkaduwa. Thanks to the team

Great beach location! The hotel is verry clean, have good breakfast buffet. Rooms are verry comfortable and large, with sea view.
