Madeena Hotel is our go to place for dinner when we are with friends. We love the place. Chilling vibe at night near the beach. Kottu and all the other foods are affordable hence very Okay-ish. Nothing impressive about them.

The Madeena Beach Restaurant was a disappointing stop for us, especially during our visit around 1 am. The ambiance was not welcoming, with only a local crowd present. The overall atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the staff seemed unresponsive and inattentive to our needs. Due to the unpleasant setting, we couldn't spend more than a few minutes inside. Opting for take-away, the food quality was also below par. Based on this experience, I'd advise foreigners to avoid this place, as the ambiance, service, and food might not meet expectations for a comfortable dining experience.

They serve the best cheese kottu in Galle town. In any case, the staff isn't so much friendly. They don't offer a decent support for customers. The food varieties are to some degree great and commendable. Highly recommend this restaurant if you would like to enjoy a good meal with a pleasant beach view.

Amazing! Favorite spot so far in Sri Lanka. Lots of options, in terms of different curries or also roti or noodles. Great place to sit, right by the beach, and service was really good. The juices were amazing, the chef came to tell us it was his own recipe, it was all very sweet.

Madeena Beach Hotel is our dine in place for dinner at late nights when I’m with friends. We love the place with sea view and breeze. Kottu and all the other foods are affordable but we love to have egg roti sawan with chicken and dhal gravy with some chili paste. Their ginger plain tea is so impressive.

My local friend Mr Siraj being me there to enjoy delicious Halal food there ,and during my stay in Galle city we enjoyed few times the delicious food at this resturant and the beach side view is very nice it's nice place to enjoy your breakfast. For Muslim visitors they can visit this resturant to have 100 💯 percnt Halal food.

After a long and exhausting day, my family & I had visited this place, we got ourselves seated with a beachside view infront of us. Made our orders, it took awhile, but i have no complaints regarding the food. The staff, however, seemed inexperienced & quite careless. We asked for extra chairs, which they said they'd provide but did not, so we had to take them ourselves. Also the plates weren't properly washed, & we had to do that ourselves as well, which is quite disgusting. But the food was pleasant and surprisingly tasty too, which I did not expect after a careless treatment. The portion size was good and the cost was reasonable as well.

This place was very good until a few months back. I visited lately to have Fried rice, The food wasn't good or worthy, Also there's this new crew running the place, served people behind me and kept me waiting more than usual.

This was the best meal we had in the whole of Sri Lanka. We have been in Sri Lanka for 2 and a half weeks. The Madeena beach hotel is a restaurant for locals. I had Dolphin (nothing to do with Dolphins) I also had a vegetable parata and some dhal (lentils) My wife had khottu. Extra friendly service and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going there again.

Great place.Delicious Foods. I Give 5 Star if More clean their! Beach infront view. So many tourist are there. Some people smoking cigarettes in the restaurants that's was very annoying and disgusting. It's not too good there to bring your Kids out door dining tables. They need to make smoking area for them. Also some glass plates are not clean. I was washed the plates again when I was last time in there. Foods are delicious bus they need to take look about Customer service and clean. If they arrange new parking that's also cool. We need parking both side of the road that's not safety.

The staff are very aggressive. They do not care for customers. They don’t even listen to customers. They behave like they are distributing free food. Anyway the food is good and recommendable. Food is some expensive and still worth the money. Only issue is the staff behaviour and the atmosphere. The environment is not hygienic. They have to improve manners of the staff.

Serves Rotten food during the night. Got them delivered via Uber eats so there was no point in complaining. The string hoppers biriyani was rotten as a corpse. Cannot be recommended at all.

This restaurant is the best among local ones. Their cheese and chicken kottu and chicken legs are worth trying. They also have a terrace with the beach view and you can enjoy both, the tasty food and the ocean. Absolutely 5 stars.

The best place to try local food. And it’s working till deep night, so you never will be hungry. Super friendly staff and fast service. I was eating here almost every evening. Also here is nice terrace, so you can enjoy ocean and sunset. Highly recommended!

The place is a good place along with the beautiful beach of Devata. But the staff is not that much friendly. They do not provide a good servoce for the customers. The foods are somewhat good and worthy. But in my experience we got a kottu that is not hot and not that much delicious. If you like to eat near a beach this is a good choice.
