Location is perfect for beach lovers. Hotel is upfront to beach and its location is beautiful. 😊. Rooms are clean nice and ac, hot water were woked fine for me. Food is very good, specially sea food, kottu, and fried rice are in different taste. Hotel staff please give more attention on below areas... English type breakfirst is needed to be developed to good standards. Like fruit platter, baken, organge juice, and jumbo sosegers should be inclouded. And also customer cordination should be imporoved. At the end at least, You must ask how is our service? Is there anything to be deleoped? No boddy is done that. Please organize well. 👍

Went there for breakfast only as we were at the beach very early…we ordered both western and Sri Lankan breakfasts. I would say they can do way better for the prices. Not much of a friendly service or friendly people. Fresh juices were good. Our fried eggs were very raw! We were served normal bread instead of sliced toasted bread for the western breakfast. When inquired, they gave 04 slices of toasted bread just to me. There were 02 others who had western breakfast but didn’t give them. We saw them serving very keenly and with the right accompaniments to the foreigners but not to us…disappointed!

Service was very bad... they didn't give the complimentary items like tea kits and water bottle, the quality of shampoo and conditioner was very bad.... food was traditional srilankan but serving and quantity was not upto the mark... i gave 2 stars only for their location.

We rented apartments room on the 2nd floor. There are no view from the windows, you see the front house but it’s spacious and we had good curtains. AC wasn’t working properly but fan worked great. Location is great for walking to the beach and driving bike (there are a hidden path to the very heart of Unawatuna). We stayed for 4 nights. Don’t think it’s good to stay longer.

The hotel is perfect to stay in Unawatuna. Not expensive near lot of beaches. Rooms comfortable and little be old but it’s ok :) Tasty sea foods !! Friendly staff they help in everything if you would like something. Beautiful ocean view.

Stayed in room 14 of this hotel. It was a very clean and brand new room with all facilities. Received a very friendly welcome from the staff. The food was also very clean. The night barbeque was very delicious. As it was facing the sea, the sea was well visible. You can swim in the sea right in front of the hotel. It was easy for babies because it was shallow. Since the divers were stationed, there was no fear of safety to swim in the sea. I left with the hope of visiting again. I thought I would stay one more day. But time passed.

Spent 3 days on the beach at Peacock hotel. I only used their long chair and restaurant service. I had the Fish curry with rice, the serving is good, taste good and it’s very good value for money. Service can be improved…it can be difficult to place an order the reason being that only 2 waiters are very professional (the 2 guys with beard and wearing mask)…all the other once are doing nothing but literally nothing! Feel sorry for the 2 good guys!

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found this hotel by chance. It is located on the beach and has comfortable sunbeds and a good restaurant. The rooms are spacious and all have a balcony with sea view. The staff is unbelievable friendly. In short, a fantastic stay here so we will definitely come back!

Budget hotel, friendly staff, flexible. Its in the beach and nice view. cleaned hotel rooms but small, advise to take meals from outside. Lots of shops closer to the hotel. Good experiance..

It is on the beach. Nice location. Friendly owner and manager is too good. Has own sunbath beds so that the in house visitors have no problem. One of the best place in srilanka.

It is not that much a big place.. somethings are not as shown in the pictures.. it is like a hotel scheme. Rooms are not that much bad. Bud should renovate or do something.. room service is not good only a soap was there.. no shampoo, conditioner or body showers.. at least no water bottle in the room. Hot water is there.. average condition is not bad. The beach is so nice but the ocean is bit deep. Night party was quite good. Hospitality should be increase. Prices are so high not worth that much.. should treat local people well.. they care about foreigners but not that much well about locals. So dissapoint about the breakfast..

Location, Location, Location. This place is perfectly located on the Unawatuna beach and most rooms have a great view of the beach. The rooms are quit packed, and our room did not even come with a safe. The room is clean, and dry, the AC works decent and the shower is ok, the hot and cold line where switched in our room but once you realize it it's not a big deal, just try not to burn yourself, as you might at first think there is only cold water as it takes a while for the hot water to come to the tap. The food is ok, and a little pricy, but there are plenty of alternatives along the beach, just have stroll and find a place that you like, The breakfast buffet is very Sri Lankan, if you like spicy you can dig right in, if not you might not want to book the breakfast and find something else along the beach or order a la card. Afte looking around the beach a bit we are pretty confident that this is the best place on the Unawatuna beach, right after the Araliya Hotel, which is in a very different price segement. You can stay in the Peacock propably for a weak for the price the Araliya cost for a night. Espacially because the food prices inside Araliya (we went once for lunch) are also 2 to 3 times the prices on the beach. So is it worth it? Definitly! If you are looking for a beach vacation. If you are looking for a hotel vacation you might want to conider the Araliya as you wouldn't have to leave the hotel at all.

Rooms are too small.we have to access the balcony by going out of the room.They do not provide water bottles you have to buy that from them, never in my life I have experienced this. pictures on the booking sites are misleading. extremely overpriced, just for on the beach location they are charging that much. even the food is very average.we ordered seafood rice there was just rice hardly any seafood and costed 1250 LKR which u can get at the half price outside with actual seafood, every other hotel provides juice in breakfast but they are charging extra for that. They asked for the money even before checkin which no other hotel in Sri Lanka did. My suggestion do not book this hotel, there are many hotels better than this within the same price range.

This place provided energy but little else. It wasn’t terrible but at the same time we have eaten some amazing food when visiting Sri Lanka and this certainly wasn’t that. Food was bland, portions were small and the hotel beach front was covered in littler and bottles. The highlight of this experience was a lizard walking through the rubbish outside the hotel.

Location is good. Beach is so close and beautiful. Rooms are not bad but a little small and have strange configuration, really bad soundproof, you could easily hear what other guest doing or talking in their rooms. The staff is super good and friendly.
