To all my fellow western travellers this is definitely the burger place to go In Hikkaduwa 😄 prices are regular but burgers are outstanding! I really enjoyed the vegetable-burger and the french fries 😊 Also their Nordic Blend is very refreshing. Interior is nice and staff is very friendly. Awesome place to get a great Beef/Chicken/Veg Burger. The restaurant is clean and the friendly service was professional/fast. The restaurant is located on the second floor. Ordered the food to-go and it held up quite nice. Did not order a coffee but they have a extensive coffee menu.

Nice place, good service, very nice people working here. Also, I enjoyed the integration with nature - the tree on the photo is growing right from the the footsteps. Burgers were Ok, for Sri-Lanka they were great :) however, the chicken bacon burger's taste was quite similar to my BBQ (Ranch) one :)

juice has been diluted with water, grilled vegetables were raw (beside pineapple), burgers were not juicy, there was not enough sauce inside So I don’t recommend this place

People who work there are very kind and service was fast. We waited for our order less than 20 minutes. The price isn't high. Burgers are tasty and the portions aren't small. It's enough for lunch.

Great burger, a truly homemade feel with high quality ingredients. The grilled veg was excellent too. Nice calm place to sit apart from the crazy bus drivers flying by every so often

Really nice place, good burgers and the menu is cool. Everything from a simple burger to a Hawaiian special!! The prices are a little step as the service charge is included in the price of the food. But you pay for decent meat and ingredients.

Really good burgers - proper ingredients. Friendly owner. Place is close to the street so could be noisy but can be solved by take away. I can recommend without hesitation

Best burger restaurant in hikkaduwa. We have been here 2 times and it was both times pretty amazing. The ice tea is perfect and the burgers are delicious. The staff is very friendly. It's a 10 out of 10.

The best burger... In Sri Lanka Was surprised, but this burger was really tasty and juicy. Normally in Sri Lanka the beef patties are terrible.but this was good!

Tasty burger. We took combo including little salad, some potatoes and ice tea. And I think not so recommend veggie burger - nothing special🤷🏻‍♀️

Aafter trying three different burger joints in Hikkaduwa I have finally come to the conclusion that Nordic House serves the Best burgers in town.. The restaurant is right on the main road so it's not exactly the most quiet place to enjoy your food but it is comfortable and very clean even with the open shop front.. You are able to get a great cup of coffee here too, with many varieties of coffee available. Milkshakes and fruit juices also make up the drinks menu.. Each coffee is served with a small chocolate which I think is a nice touch and you get a decent amount. Nordic House is well known for its burgers and the place doesn't disappoint. For me it's the best burgers in Hikkaduwa, the menu isn't huge but you do get quite a few choices. My go to is the Bacon Cheeseburger... It's just so so good. The waiting staff and kitchen staff are happy to customize your order (to an extent) and if you need something taken off or added it's usually met with a nod and a smile. Food arrives quickly, not too quick for you to think something is up with the kitchen, but it isn't as slow as other restaurants in town. The coffee and burgers make Nordic House simply great. Good food, good service and at a very good price. 10/10
