👍👍 Amazing atmosphere. Cocktails are good but, can not mark them as exceptional. However, prawns and salad and chicken rolls are delicious. Soup too. Love the vibe and hospitality People often mention service, nice, great, fish, sunset, friendly, fresh, prawns, amazing, Unawatuna,

This is the perfect spot to enjoy sunset and grab a few cocktails. Although the prices are on the higher side, everything was amazing. We tried the passion mojito, shrimp dish and veggie curry. The curry was so good!

GREAT SUNSETS We came here 2 out of our 6 nights while visiting Unawatuna. Drinks were great, my favorite mango mojito in Sri Lanka (ask for more "minty").

Incredibly beautiful and cozy place. The owner of the cafe is very hospitable and friendly, he and his wife cook all the dishes themselves. The fish I ate was as fresh as can be! In the tradition of Sri Lanka, eating everything with your hands - this gives a special exoticism and charm to the dish) If you are in the Unawatuna region, be sure to visit this place!

food was delicious! i ordered octopus and it was a great decision! i am very glad that i came to this place. in addition to delicious food, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunsets here. a big plus also for service - very nice and smiling people

Beautiful place. However, the octopus was overcoocked and that made it too chewy and not a good taste. The chicken curry was OK, but nothing more.

Went to this place twice during our week in Unawatuna. The food was was amazing, the staff was friendly, and the spot is super chill. Their curry was one of the best we had and the fish was one of our (and our toddlers) favorite dishes of the trip—they even let me into the kitchen to show me how to make the sauce!!

Such a sweet little spot just outside of the busy town. Great views and the service was excellent! Everyone was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely worth the stop for a bite to eat or even just a drink to watch the sunset

Worst dining experience of our entire trip. Be prepared for overpriced cash only bill, forgetful uneven service (with mandatory service fees!) and loud trance EDM music to accompany a beautiful quiet beachfront sunset. If you question the mandatory service fee as we did, expect no less than 6 staff members to crowd around and start yelling at your family in public. No Kabala vibes here.

It's an awesome, small place. Utterly clean. Honestly the only clean and neat bathroom I found in a small establishment around galle. The people there are super nice and friendly and welcoming. They were so helpful in recommending the dishes. We had grilled fish and rice. Dear lord that fish is just amazing. It's so well cooked. The fish was fresh. The marination and the sauce were the bomb. The fried served with the fish was amazingly tasy. The salad was really good. We liked the fried rice too but honestly the fidh and fries just filled us so much 😍😍😍 The fresh fruit juice is just so fresh. For the fish we took 100g was around 700 to 900 rupees, which is a bit pricy, but it's worth every penny. This is our go to place now, when we go to Unawatuna again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Definitely the most beautiful restaurant in the area. Family-run fresh seafood place with great food and even better service. We had the fresh lobster(5€ per 100g) and grilled prawns.

Had an amazing dinner! The food was great, we ordered the grilled prawns, chicken and fresh fish. All dishes had an amazing taste. The service was great, Pando was a really nice guy and a great server. Hope to come back one day.

Atmosphere was really nice and romantic. As for the food we asked for a fish of 700g and I think what we received was less than 700. As for the calamari portion was too small. For me you can find better options in unawatuna for better prices. The portions were tiny

Really tasty food and the staff were super friendly. The restaurant is on the sea front making it a nice spot to watch the sunset. We had the crispy prawns and spring rolls to start and then had the rice and curry.

Imagine perfect ocean views, snow-white ivory tables, and surprisingly fine food. All together this is Kabala Sunset Cafe. The chefs will prepare your order in the shortest possible time while you enjoy the views, or maybe you are lucky and you will meet a wonderful Labrador here, gentle and friendly so much that the memory on your phone will quickly run out of photos with him. Delicious food, good, honest prices, inexpensive, amazing sunrises and sunsets. Fast and quality service. Definitely recommend to visit.

I ordered grilled prawns and they were delicious, the best ones that I got at the moment in Sri Lanka but the quantity was very poor (6 small prawns), I think that the portions could be bigger. My partner got a grilled red snipper which was also delicious. If you go here, try to get a table far from the road, otherwise could be a little bit noisy and your experience will be totally different due to the high out of trucks that use this road.

I have visited up to 10 restaurants in Unawatuna, and I am sure that this is best one! First of all, the Grilled prawns with salad and chips are so sweet that they are literally melting in you mouth! Secondly, this place has shown the most quick serve time since you made your order! Third thing is that the view to the ocean is absolutely fantastic - both daytime and in the evening. I give 10 stars from 5!

We came to Unawatuna to get certified for PADI OWD. Between lessons and practicing it was nice to come heare, have some rest and fuel our body tanks with delicious courses. The saff is very friendly and ready to help sith anything. And the view is really amazing, it is even possible to see turtles.

Excellent place to have dinner or a drink while watching the turtles swimming around and the sunset. Fresh sea food and fruit juices. People working there are so nice that made our dinner really special.
