Very nice place to take a visit. You will have to pass a small way to reach there after stopping your vehicles at a safe place. Environment is very calm and mind relaxing. You can reach to the top of the waterfall using a seperate foot path. Some times watwr get mud colored in rainy seasons. Must visit, if you are nature lover. Please protect the environment around there by not leaving polythene, beer cans and glasses.

This is truly a hidden beauty, bit difficult way to reach this waterfall, but it's really worth to see this extremely beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka.

A beautiful waterfall hidden in Sri Lanka. Visiting this waterfall is very suitable on rainy days. You have to walk a short distance to visit this waterfall.

Kiruwana Ella is the highest waterfall in Matara District. It's Located near the Urubokka, Matara. Its Hidden beatuful waterfall and little bit difficult to go to the waterfall. because of the broken-down road.Nice place to visit and if you can go rainy days, you get the unforgettable experience with adventure.

Spectacular fall eventhough it doent get much tourist attraction. Located just walking distance from main road. If you travel by a car you can park your vehicle near main road and you have to walk around 1.5km through a tea estate. You have to follow the path to mini hydro plant. No need to get permission or tickets during this walk. Since this place is not visited frequently by travellers the walking path leading to fall from mini hydro plant is Not clearly visible. It is a bit adventurous finding path leading to the waterfall. But it is totally worth the effort.
