What a hidden Gem..! Certainly, Duwili Ella Falls is the most beautiful waterfall in the forest. It can be accessed from the Lankagama entrance of Sinharaja. This spectacular hidden waterfall is located in Lankagama Village within the border of the forest. Cascading with three tiers, 23m tall Duwili Ella Falls adds stunning beauty to the jungle. It calls as Duwili Ella, as it spreads water like a spray. I must say, it was an experience of a lifetime. This hidden gem tucked away amidst lush greenery and exotic wildlife left me in awe and wonder. ♥️🍃 The journey to the waterfall itself was an adventure, with picturesque trails leading us through the heart of the rainforest. The sounds of chirping birds and the gentle rustling of leaves created a serene ambiance that instantly connected us with nature. As we approached the waterfall, the sight was simply mesmerizing. The cascade of water, gracefully falling from a considerable height, was a sight to behold. The misty spray from the falls refreshed our spirits, and the pristine pool at the base of the waterfall invited us to take a refreshing dip. Visiting Duwili Ella Waterfall is a must for anyone who seeks tranquility and wishes to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The natural beauty and untouched wilderness of Sinharaja rainforest make this place a true haven for nature lovers and photographers alike. I would recommend this hidden paradise to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Just remember to wear comfortable footwear and bring your camera to capture the magical moments. Duwili Ella Waterfall in Sinharaja rainforest will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to revisit it someday. A big thank you to the local authorities and guides for preserving this natural wonder for generations to come. If you want to experience the true essence of Sri Lanka's natural beauty, Duwili Ella Waterfall is the place to be..!

Beautiful waterfall located at the border of sinharaja rainforest. Not easy to go near the waterfall with a vehicle as the road leading to it is very narrow. But a short walk from the road nevertheless.

Beautiful waterfall. Good place to bathe also. There are safe spots. Not easy to get close to the waterfall. Easy access with a staircase. But parking is a concern.

Duwili Ella is considered one of the most visited places in the Kudawa area. Nourished by the clearest and purest water sources within the Sinharaja rainforest the water in Duwili Ella is the finest you can ever imagine that a stream could ever have. A heavenly experience can be guaranteed here and the place is quite safe for everyone. However, the road which leads to this place is extremely narrow and the driving experience can be a little too hectic. The place can get crowded during the weekends and other local public holidays. It is recommended to visit during a weekday to experience the true beauty of the place and get the most out of the guaranteed lavish experience.

This is another Duwili Ella one of many found in Sinharaja. Located in boarder line of the Sinharaja forest reserve. You need to come up a small incline of about 2Km to get here. Ask anyone around and they will guide you. Make sure you do not leave anything and come. Keep the place clean for others. Enjoy the beauty.

Walked thro the edge of the rocks, so much near to its pool. Just then the sun came out, giving it a much more vibrant look. The thin air quality was superb.. One should not miss this easy accessible beautiful place.

👍👍 You may get mis guided from the map location sometimes. We went to see the forest in end of Feb 2020. It was a dry time like no rain for around a month. We entered from the nothern gate of the forest. No leeches were there and fountains inside the forest were depleted. It was much dry and with harsh...
