Great hotel in Ahangama. About 45 mins drive from Galle. There are 2 types of rooms, standard and deluxe. The rooms are so clean have good Aircondition. While the rooms all come equipped with hot water , safe , tv, AC & balcony. Great hotel staff, well trained and polite. The staffs are so respectful and friendly. We got a welcome drink and a free Neck and shoulder massage while we were waiting for our room. The hotel is just beside surf spot.. Because of the reef it’s softening the impact of waves as they hit the shore. Beyond the reef are some of the best waves for surfing. Photo included. Also the hotel has a very nice pool and beach in front. The food was awesome. The buffet in Saturdays and Sundays. There were many varieties of food On the A La carte menu. The food is fresh and tasty.pastas, meat dishes and their specialist rice and curry with seafood. We had the prawn curry with rice. Best Sri Lankan style prawn curry we tasted . Worth dropping in for just that. Large servings. Definitely will Be coming back with more friends to enjoy this hotel and service

For the price, the stay was exceptional. Good food variety. tasty. staff was helpful. room was comfy. I think recently renovated. everything was more than satisfactory for the price. Location was very good. beach, colombo city view all are good. nice swimming pool. Its good experience..

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. Not only was the service subpar, but the staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and were outright rude. They seemed disinterested in assisting guests and were dismissive when approached for help. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming, and the customer service was atrocious. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and hospitable stay.

What a lovely hotel is this! Perfect service and comfort! They made our room perfectly clean and had surprises for our little son on the bed made from towels, one time a doggy and another time something else! The basket with our laundrey was so quick ready and perfectly left in a beautiful basket. The staff so friendly! Loved our stay here!!

This hotel portraits an image that shows professionalism but that is not the case. The moment we got checked in, our AC did not work and then the most disgusting thing that was ever to be found during our stay was the hair strands in the food being served, after a certain number of hours the aftermath was a bad stomach and a sleepless night. Do not book this HOTEL!!!!!!

Very nice ambience is maintained on the location of the hotel and the overall layout. Very nice service from the cooperative support staff.

Pros - Amazing location + beach - Super nice staff - Lovely sea view rooms - Decent breakfast options - Nice swimming pool - Tasty food Cons - Had power issues in one of the rooms that they couldn't fix quickly - The weekend breakfast buffet had flies hovering all over the food, which was a major put off.

We had a triple room here, and frankly I'm unsure if I'd recommend the hotel. The staff are super friendly but the amenities are poor. The hotel is in a pristine location by the Indian Ocean and kudos to the architecture. The rooms would benefit from a ceiling fan, as the humidity is intense. The pool is spacious but the pool bar has limited service. There aren't many activites in/around the place. The most disappointing was the food. The quality of the food is questionable, the service takes a while and the orders were all kept being confused/incorrect. I think the lack of nice activities around, and the quality of the food - which matters as this palce is on a quiet part of the beach, I don't think I'd be revisiting.

This hotel was such a great experience for us! They made us feel so welcome with their friendly staff and finer details, like juice at arrival, beautiful flowers and next and back massage for free. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the rooms service was superb! They gave attention to finer details with little messages and preparing your bed at night! AC in the room and view of the beautiful beach was such a plus! The staff is friendly and they love their job! They made this visit so much more memorable! Lovely live music at dinner time and great omelettes during breakfast! I loved our stay here, close to many restaurants and the amazing marshmallow beach for surfing! I highly recommend this hotel! They surprised me everyday! Xx thank you Insight Resort for an amazing stay!
