Staff was really nice and friendly. I got my room on upstairs and the view was really cool. Food was tasty. Rooms are clean. Worth for the price. Would recommend to anyone. The staff said that sometimes they won’t be able to serve food because of the power outages + fuel shortage which is understandable. So it’s better to have a backup plan. However I didn’t have to face any issue with food even there was nearly 4 hours of power outage. Really appreciate that.

Clean budget friendly rooms with basic essential amenities which was perfectly what we needed. (Comfy bed, TV, AC, fan, hot water, fridge, kettle to make tea). A balcony overlooking the beach, which was unfortunately a little way away as there is a car park right below the rooms. It wasn't much of an issue though, the beach right in front of the hotel is not too great to swim in but if you walk a few meters away towards the left side of the hotel is a lovely spot where there is a great swim spot. The only breakfast option consists of toasts, butter, jam, and fruits with a pot of tea, which was alright too. Overall great value for the money spent. I'll definitely go back again.

What a fantastic spot, just far enough from the central area of Unawatuna to be tranquil and close enough to walk down. If you like the simple things on holiday this is the place for you, a nice breakfast in the morning before you find your spot on the reasonably secluded beach to swim and sunbathe. The sea here is a bit rocky but you soon figure out where to swim to avoid them. The staff are absolutely fantastic, shout out to Dinesh and Mal who are beautiful human beings and very helpful should you need anything. The accommodation is sufficient for the great price they offer. We want to return before we leave Sri Lanka just to see them smile again!

Rooms are Oki. Bathroom comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good by very limited options.

In this place nothing really worked... Fridge was dead as well as TV....location is not good...i felt like the staff doesn't care. Waiter is more interested in his phone then doing his job... For the price it is expensive....

Wow what an experience so bad we walked out before the water had even got to the table, we got them and got a luke warm welcome and then I asked for the WIFI code and just never got it then ordered a beer which never materialised so we walked out, didn't even have a chance to taste the food because the service was so bad.

Positives- The hotel is situated by the beach which is great and the food was delicious. They also do laundry service. Negatives- staff not very welcoming or helpful. We had to seek assistance to order food and drinks. Warm beer and only soft drink available was cola. The accommodation is basic, you get what you pay for. The room was dirty with fly splattered walls, broken cupboards and non working plugs or light in the shower. WiFi doesn't work well either.

The room is great and clean, but very expensive. We did not feel welcome by the staff. The restaurant is very very expensive and the breakfast was outright disappointing. Both days they brought us the wrong things, which did not seem to bother them. There is a 15 min tuktuk drive to Galle Fort for 500 rupees, which was very fair. The beach is nice and you might see huge turtles popping their heads up in the evening (17.30)

Great value for money. Check in time is 2.00 pm and check out time is 12.00 pm. Few staff members were available. Only bed and breakfast option to be selected. Rooms are spacious and they don't offer a kettle inside the room, and no mini fridge too. Breakfast was very good. Is a beachfront so you get a good view from the 1st floor rooms. Calm and quiet atmosphere.

The place is small, has about 6-7 rooms. Air-conditioned. Free parking available for about 2 cars. Has a small garden. Right on the beach. Food is expensive and and portions are small. The taste is not bad. Overall an average experience. The best thing about the place is the beach access and the view. Its around 5 min walk to turtle beach and frog rock.

I spent one night with Dalawella, Exellent service and also the place however at night no one stays in the resort but the security uncle is also doing a great job other than his duty.

Best place to stay. Great location .Comfortable clean room . The maneger and the staff were kind and helpful . Highly recommended to stay .

Check in was at 1pm, after we went they said it's still cleaning and we have to wait and we came back at 3pm, only 1 guy was working there, very poor experience with limited facilities, good view but not overall bad, dirty lines on bedsheets and towels and they charge 700lkr for the kettle to make a tea lol
