Place is good. Owner and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very good. Freshly made and served with a nice presentation. Therr is a hangout area with a chilling ambiance. There is a little garden area with flower bushes where few birds allways hangout. Place seems secure. Bed is moderately confirtable. Barthroom is ok. Walking distance to Hikkaduwa town and beach. Close by mini supermarkets for any shopping needs. Place is on the land side. Parking is available for about 3 vehicles. Be mindful when crossing the railway crossing you find on the way.

The host were just super friendly and helpful . Everything you wanted to know or get around was easy as they had great connection in town . The breakfast is simple but tasty and they really make you feel as a family member . Only planned to stay a night and extended for 5nights as it has something special keeping you there . Highly recommend and will be back soon for sure 🤗 Thank you for the great host😊

The Big Tourist Hostel in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. The best Foods and Clean Rooms. 2 minutes for main bus stand , 5 Minutes for Rail way station in Hikkaduwa. 400M only Beach .Safety Place and Good Staff. Excellent Service and Tranquil location. Restaurant is Nice music and Nice Food menu. Management is Super. Friendly Owner . One and Only amezing hostel in Hikkaduwa Sri lanaka.

for hostel standards would recommend, host us a character (very nice, chill, friendly) and rooms are okay, for us it was 7$/night which is cheap and for that we were welcomed by a nice host with good breakfast. beds aren't that comfy though but that's okay. wash rooms could have been a bit nicer, but all in all if you know, what you're going into, I'd recommend.

Wow what an amazing place in Hikka to stay! From the first moment I came I was welcomed like family sharing everything and making me feel st home. Very clean and spacious place with a big open area to chill. I made friends with many great travellers and we all ended up extending because we did not want to leave. You are less than a 2 minute walk from the best snorkeling in Hikkaduwa and the owner took us out the first day right off the beach we saw so many corals fish, sea turtles and I even saw a 3 meter black fin shark. This has been more favourite place in sri lanka so far and I would highly recommend!! Also the breakfast they serve every morning was excellent. Thanks Hikka city hostel 😊

It was nice experience staying there. Normaly it is not offering accomadation to locals but since there were not many tourists and with the reference of Poseidon Diving station we could stay there. You can get snorkeling, surf, fishing, safari, whale watching tours from this place. This place was noticed by its wall is full with recommendations written by tourists from all over the world. prices was reasonable and the service is at it's best. Lockers available for to keep safe your belongings and security vise place is safe. Food is great and nicely served. hangout area is cozy and calm. You may play chess, carrom, read books, sing or listen to music. I recommend this places for anyone traveling Hikkaduwa area.

Nice people, clean place. Let's just say that this hostel is so much better than the others in Hikkaduwa that all the people staying there came over to sleep at this place the next night.
