Had an awesome experience kayaking in the evening. Unfortunately we got late reaching there and it was raining, but the host made a special arrangement for us with a short tour. He even offered us coffee and changing facility. Want to visit again sometime for the full tour.

I and my friends suddenly book a Kayaking Tour with Lahiru and did a morning Kayaking tour. We saw different birds specially kingfisher, blackhooded Oriole and huge bats. Huge water monitor. Very beautiful lagoon views. Unforgivable experience. It was my 1st kayaking experience and it was the best. Hope to visit again with my family. Highly recommend to everyone who plan to visit south side. Good luck

A rare gem! Hikkaduwa Lagoon Safari was the highlight of our trip to southern Sri Lanka. Lahiru is an expert guide and he shared his knowledge on the local fauna and flora including mangrove ecosystem. He helped us to see many rare birds, reptiles and lagoon wildlife. From the start, Lahiru communicated very clearly and ensured that we had the best safari experience. Lahiru and his family warmly welcomed us and even served us tea at the end of safari. The tour was reasonably priced and offers great value for money. Our teenage kids thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the opportunity to row the boat. We highly recommend Hikkaduwa Lagoon Safari for any nature lover and a supporter of ecotourism. Thank you Lahiru!

My safari with adventure kayaking Hikkaduwa was amazing! ,😍❤️. We went on the 2nd of December 2022. We had a very good time, and excellent guide, great food, and nice accommodation. I saw awesome wildlife during the trip. I had fun with my family! I highly recommend to book a safari with him, I can't wait to go on My next safari with him :) Thank you so much Lahiru.. ❤️

Did an evening lagoon tour today and I absolutely loved it, so peaceful and quiet, it was really enjoyable! We have seen lots of different birds, varans, flying foxes and a variety of plants, everything was well explained by our lovely tour guide and I feel like I have learned quite a lot on this tour! Absolutely recommended for everyone who loves nature and wildlife :)

Hade a wonderfully relaxing morning paddling around this beautiful lagoon. Feet in the water watching the wildlife. Thank you so much to the father and son paddlers. Word of advice take a hat or umbrella on sunny days, we went on an overcast day with spots of rain and it was perfect. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Went for Kayaking to catch the sunset, overall experience was good. The best part of the ride was catching the sunset and kayaking under two big trees. Lagoon water was clean and clear, you can even have a bath there. The hosts are very friendly and have good customer service and they give their best. PS: they don't provide waterproof carrying bags.

I visited this place today… Great service! Very kind staff, and the guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, he was kind enough to carefully explain in detail about the different mangroves and different kind of birds here, we spotted eagles , huge population of bats as we went deep inside the lagoon! I recommend this place for anybody who wants have a safe kayaking experience . They have boat rides too.

We had a lovely afternoon paddling around the lagoon, the owner speaks English very well and is full of interesting information about the plants and animals around us. A very calm and peaceful environment, loved it. Highly recommended 👌

A family-style traditionally-operated ecotour on Rathgama Lake, which is a large lagoon. There are pontoon boats and kayaks to choose from, and excursions of various lengths to match your appetite for the experience. They provide information on the flora and fauna one encounters in the way. It is possible to glimpse rare animals at times, like monkeys. My particular trip featured the birds. The hosts are very friendly and warm. It is worth a long visit.

Had an amazing time with Lahiru and his Father on the private sunrise lagoon safari. We were picked up from our hostel by TukTuk at 6am and taken to the lagoon before setting off to see many native animals and the sunrise. Would highly recommend, my partner and I loved it! Thank you :)

It’s been an amazing experience! It was so relaxing, the lake was for us only. We just ran into a fisherman during our 2h kayaking trip! Lahiru is really nice, cheerful and a wonderful guide. Has lots of things to share about the nature and the surroundings towns around the lake. Good jokes. The experience is really worth it! It is 2,5h kayaking across this huge lake for 4000lk which is affordable taking into consideration the duration of the activity with a private guide. We got to saw tons of bats sleeping hanging from the trees. Never saw them like this before. Really worth it! Beautiful landscapes and a super relaxing experience enjoying the nature. It’s a different activity to do besides surfing and scuba diving! You should book this activity with them! @mariali_26
