Situated in the parawa street inside the Galle fort. Easy access to the shops in Galle fort. The light house and beach is nearby. It was such a nice place looked like a small wonderland. Well managed and interiors are done nicely. The colors and the antique look gives a perfect paradise feeling. The staff is really really helpful and the make sure the customer safety and convenient. They ensured a comfortable stay too. It is two stories building with single, double, triple and quadruple rooms. Couches to rest outside and dine at garden is possible. Also they have a nich kitchen with all the equipment. The place looks luxurious and consists of perfect photo backgrounds. Definitely worth the price. Very reasonable price rates. Cycles will be provided for the rides. No parking area and a pool. A perfect place for families and friends.

Me and a bunch of my friends spent the night here when we visited Galle fort. It is located in a convenient spot; not too far away from the Galle train station and the bus stand. Also attractions in Galle fort are only a few metres away, still the place is pretty isolated from the hussle of Fort streets so we werent bothered with any noises from the streets. The general vibe is very calming and homely. They had working AC, hot water and plenty space. The bunks of the quadraple rooms were spacious than we thought. Also the breakfast served was very tasty. The owners of the place are understanding and helpful. Despite the current situation in Sri Lanka they provided us with a great service definitely worth the money we spent. Even with the power cuts ( which happens everyday in SL these days) the owners informed us the time slots previously and urged us to arrange our schedules accordingly. Most of the places in fort have generators; it wasn't a bother at all. So we'd recommend here in a heartbeat for anyone wanting the Galle Fort experience.

Its an authentic dutch house which is located the heart of Galle dutch fort. This place known as a tourist destination in Downsouth and this location is best place to get an accomodations with tasty food with interesting rates. I'll recommend you this place 100%.

One of the best hotels in Galle fort , regardless of price point . I booked the second floor double room with a private balcony overlooking the streets of fort. Bedroom and bathroom were excellent. Breakfast was also very good . Highly recommended .

Cannot get over this place! A beautiful place to live in when you are in Galle! The ambience, vibe and the atmosphere makes you feel at home! Reflects a lot of positive and peacefulness. Its in the centre of the fort, and easily accessible. Everything you need to visit in the fort, are just at walkable distance from this beauty! Their breakfast is good, just right for you to start the day with! Healthy and light. You’ll love the view you wake up to! Beautiful landscaping, chirping of the birds and a tiny fish pond! Oh not to forget, sometimes a peacock stops by in the mornings 😋

we stayed in their sister property two doors down. 1. Very clean! 2. Great breakfast-don't be shy to ask for different items for breakfast--the team is more than happy to oblige. 3. Room is great...except our room had barn style half doors as bathroom doors, which can make it uncomfy when you go #2! (reason for 4 stars-because other rooms had full doors based on the pics I have seen). 4. Location is perfect I would highly recommend this hotel...just check in with the bathroom door situation.

We had an amazing stay here. The owner and staff were amazing. Hot water, clean rooms and beautiful old house with courtyard. Close the main shopping area and Fort Beach. Quiet at night and there was security until 9.30pm. Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. Thank you.

For our weekend getaway at Galle Fort, this time we chose Parawa House. This place is located really close to almost all the well renowned restaurants and souvenir shops, yet really calm and peaceful inside. They have utilized a comparatively small land in the most efficient way. Property is very well maintained and the attention they have given to maintain a garden of greenery should be really appreciated. All the required facilities are provided. A very good breakfast will be served if you choose B & B option. Staff are really friendly and they did not hesitate to provide a customized and a really good service to us. Currently staying in Galle after travelling Sri Lanka and couldn’t be happier with this hotel. The room is nice and cosy with a private balcony and the host are incredibly friendly. The breakfast I had was one of the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka with a fruit smoothie, fresh fruit, breakfast tea and lovely food. The hotel is also within Galle fort which is a beautiful place with lots of places to eat and things to do.

we booked "the Entrance" hotel, but due to current situation in Sri Lanka, the hotel rebooked us to "Parawa house". the hotel is well located in Galle and is cozy inside. the staff is friendly. but the rooms was mouldy and during heavy rain, the sealing was leaking. furthermore, we had company of quite a lot of cockroaches. unfurtunately when checking out, we were charged with an additional bill. we paied 115USD for 1 night at The Entrance. Parawa house was cheaper and I discussed with the manager that we would extend our stay for 2 days in total prior to arrival. I quess we misunderstood each other, as we were presented with an additional 85USD bill for the extra night. after some discussion the bill was reduced to 70 USD - a total of 185USD for 2 nights.....still more (92USD) compared to booking.com. I can't feel but a bit tricked as the price is definetly on the high side as it is and even more if you book via booking portals. this was adressed to the manager.

Pros: great location to explore Galle Fort, friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable rooms with AC and fan - we had a free room upgrade, good wifi. Cons: we had booked in advance using booking.com and opted to pay on card as it said that we would be charged before we arrived. The property tried to add on a 3% card fee for us to pay on card, but we declined to pay this and they were ok with this. Thank you for a great stay.

highly recommended💞staff was really friendly and the place was so calm and tidy. They even arranged me a gluten free menu for breakfast as i’m Coeliac. Food is also delicious. Best place to spend a night inside the Galle fort. plus enjoyed the Bubble tea shop opposite to our place.

My wife and I got a double room for a one night stay. The room is very clean. It has all the basic features that worth the price. Very calm and peaceful ambiance in the middle of Galle fort. Super satisfied with the service.

Parawa House in Galle was a very nice experience. It is situated inside the Galle Fort off Pedlar Street hence all is in walking distance. Our room and bathroom were very nicely furnished (we had 2 4-poster beds). Breakfast was fabulous. Sitting in the small garden outside our room watching the huge kois in the pool was very relaxing. The staff was very attentive and the owners very supportive. A very nice place to stay in Galle.
