Worst place to watch a movie. But its the only place down in galle. Glad there are other things to do in galle , than going to the cinema. The interior is hot and humid. No AC, only a couple of ceiling fans. Not cleaned for ages with rats running around. Seats are super uncomfortable.

Prices are reasonable, but No air conditioning available, fans are not enough plus the sound of the fans disturbs the movie experience. Web bookings for weekend shows are recommended as it is usually crowded on Saturday and Sunday , Parking is charged but not sufficient

It is one of the two cinemas in Galle. Queens cinema has only one hall and the hall is not renovated recently. Not air-conditioned, only few fans working. It is freaking hot inside the cinema hall. So, it's not a good experience to watch films. On the other hand, you cannot expect more because the price you pay to watch a film is comparatively cheap, I guess.

OK for enjoy movies but it is no near to good Coz there is no ac or good fans inside because of it, it is very hot when crowded. and there are severel broken selling sheets that sun light comes directly to the balcony because of it, it is very hard to enjoy movies when day time, sun light comes directly to the face. Screen is above normal and sound quality is horrible. Other than that it is okay.

Got 3D on bright side, but fans does not help to reduce the heat, does not smell good! Well for the fact this is the only good cinema hall in Galle giving three stars

A lot of areas needs to be improved. The hall smells bad and the restrooms have worn away. The fans are pretty loud and disturbs the viewing experience. Sounds are great and the projection is way above average. Air conditioning should be done as soon as possible.

MOSQUITOES..... though its the best film hall in Galle there are plenty if things to be improved. if you go queens in night show wear long jeans or trousers becoz there are thousands of mosquitoes inside. Fans are not sufficient to reduce the heat inside and smelly. clean washrooms availabale for ladies and gents. Parking space availabale inside premises but you have to pay 40/= per vehicle and 30/= for motorcycles.

The only thing The Queens lack is air conditioning. They probably must have wanted to cut the cost to sustain a movie theatre in a sleepy, idle small city. The results however, are remarkable! I personally prefer to watch my most awaited marvel epic here in my hometown rather than at a cozy expensive MC theatre. It is not just about the price,which is 180 for an ODC ticket. The condition of the 3D glasses are average at best,but the screen rivals the quality of excel 3d itself. The sounds are not too loud and has good ambience. Almost all the movies opening in colombo shall open here as well. Its humid, but yes,this is the place for you to have fun at a minimal stress to your wallet

In short, hate it! They don't have any facilities. No A/C and some of the few fans they have aren't​ working. You feel like you are in an Oven after 10 or 15 minutes. And the 3D movie experience is the worst. Sound quality is as bad as it can get. And with the loud sound of the old fans, You just have to guess the dialogues in the movie. Most of the 3D vision glasses are either broken or you can't see anything through it. They just kept flashing​ lights for people to find the seats in the middle of the movie even after 40mins from starting which was really disturbing and annoying. Seating arrangements are too dumb, you can see the head of the person seating infront of you in the screen you are looking at. And of course you will have to pay for the parking even after paying for the movie. It's really disappointing that this is the only place in galle to watch a movie. Damn poor management by EAP

Movie quality & sounds are average . 3D movie quality is very bad . Seatings are not uncomfortable but is not too good either. No air-conditioning and is very hot and uncomfortable in daytime shows. Price of food and beverages inside the cinema is almost twice the maximum retail price. Parking for vehicles is limited ( only 5 - 8 vehicles ) .
