During
our
entire
10
day
stay
in
this
area,
we
ate
at
many
places,
high
and
low
end.
I
wouldn’t
consider
myself
a
food
critic,
however
I
have
travelled
to
68
countries
and
eaten
at
everywhere
from
3
Michelin
Hat
restaurants,
food
carts
outside
clubs
in
Asia
to
locals
only
markets
where
I
felt
like
an
alien.
The
point
being,
without
sounding
like
a
tool,
I
feel
I’ve
experienced
enough
to
make
a
valid
point.
This
place
was
our
standout
cheap
meal.
Food
was
authentic
and
tasty.
Appears
that
the
lady
who
cooks
stays
at
home
and
only
walks
over
when
there
are
customers.
There
is
a
pool
that
we
were
welcome
to
use
and
was
nice
to
swim
in
before
dinner,
good
music
from
quality
speakers,
other
than
that,
it’s
very
basic
and
you’re
not
here
for
anything
other
than
a
swim
amongst
the
palm
trees
and
your
meal.
Only
had
beer
and
only
after
asking
but
we
brought
our
own
Arrack
and
were
welcomed
to
drink
it.
Staff
were
very
friendly
and
seemed
very
much
like
a
family
business.
It’s
a
short
walk
from
the
beach
and
main
road
where
there
are
plenty
of
tuk
tuks.
In
my
view
this
is
the
best
local
restaurant
in
the
Thalpe
Galle
area.
