4/5 Christine S. 2 years ago on Google
We
had
2
rooms
booked
for
4
adults
for
1
night.
We
announced
our
arrival
at
the
agreed
arrival
time.
There
was
no
one
to
open
the
gate
...we
opened
it
ourselves
and
saw
all
the
staff
watching
TV.
The
dinner
menu
was
very
limited
and
not
what
was
advertised
on
the
website.
Fish
dishes
and
on
request
a
chicken
dish.
These
had
to
be
ordered
45
minutes
prior
to
dining.
This
hotel
also
does
not
have
an
alcohol
license,
while
this
is
not
a
problem
it
should
be
noted
on
the
website.
A
request
for
drinking
water
resulted
in
bottles
of
warm
water,
when
queried
cool
water
was
reluctantly
obtained
from
a
fridge
less
than
2
metres
away.
Only
1
key
card
is
available
for
each
room.
Two
of
the
small
windows
in
the
room
do
not
have
blinds
which
resulted
in
a
bright
light
light
shining
directly
into
the
room
from
the
walkway
security
lights.
Two
calls
to
the
numbers
provided
for
assistance
resulted
in
being
hung
up
on
without
any
resolution.
The
other
mobile
numbers
supplied
did
not
connect.
It
appears
there
is
no
24
hour
staff
available
on
site.
The
initial
atmosphere
on
arrival
made
us
feel
as
if
we
were
an
imposition
and
inconvenience
to
the
staff.
Balance
the
above
against
the
fact
that
this
is
a
beautiful
hotel
in
a
lovely
setting.
The
rooms
are
very
well
appointed
and
very
clean.
After
threatening
to
leave
the
staffs
attitude
changed
measurably.
Coffee
and
tea
served
by
the
pool,
dinner
and
breakfast
all
proved
to
be
an
absolute
delight.
The
staff
became
attentive
and
could
not
do
enough
for
us.
We
would
recommend
this
hotel
but
you
may
catch
the
staff
on
a
bad
day
as
we
did.
