One of the best places i’ve stayed at ever! The staff are just the friendliest people. They made me feel like home as well as the other guests. We really became a family at the hostel with the staff. The rooms are clean and nice. The best thing is they have great coffee!! Which is a rare find sometimes in Sri Lanka. The food is great too. Basically everything is great. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back to visit the Yaluwa brothers.

This place is super cool. Don’t know about the rooms but the staff in the cafe is really polite, the WIFI is good for work and there’s plugs for charging everywhere. IMO best place to work, relax, have a coffee and a food breakfast or lunch! Prices are a bit higher but the it’s reasonable for what you get!

i was supposed to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying 5, i was sad i had to leave... thanks to the stuff (Jeffrey, Sudumale, Sura, Suda, Zouma and all the others) i had one of the best moments in Sri Lanka. The rooms were perfectly clean, the food was sooo damn delicious. I could not have asked for more. Thank you team of Yaluwa for making me feel like home <3

I stayed in the dorm for about 2 weeks and had the best time. Comfy matrasses, AC, well equipped kitchen to use, free water and a super welcoming and helpful vibe. Much love to the Yaluwa family incl Loki and Ari. 🙏🏽❤️

Such an amazing place, cozy and friendly atmosphere. Our little one was quite busy there also while mama & papa were eating. The food is YUMMY, green cold-pressed juice and Halloumi salad is my favorite. Definitely coming back again.

For sure nice hidden place to come for brunches and coffee. We liked shakshuka with buffalo curd and snickers. Doggies are awesome! Guys also have rooms for rent

Went there for Breakfast: superb barista Coffee made with an eye for details and indulging French toast (with heaps of melted chocolate).!

A favourite in Ahangama - great food, coffee, and service and the adorable Labradors steal the show! Highly recommend Yaluwa for brunch or for an enjoyable and relaxed stay.

Cool space ! Really good coffee , cool music selection as well . The pulled beef is to die for

Yaluwa’s deli is the chill spot between the surf and the house. Stopped there for the pulled beef toast with scrambled eggs. I left full and satisfied. Definitely coming back daily. My 8 months old son also loved playing with the two Labrador puppies “Loki and Ari”.

Wow bravo, what a place, top spot, good food, nice beach in front, nice massage next door, good chicken on the menu, I am not a vegan anymore because of the chicken on the menu. The owner is ok. Easy going chill guy, he seems very relaxed. He must be happy with the chicken on the menu too.

The owner is so friendly, you can ask him erverything and helps you. The food is really good at the restaurant. There is a really nice vibe in the hostel and i net some nice people. You should go here for sure!

I had a great time at Yaluwa, everyone was super nice! They have two security dogs that are very friendly always want to say hi! There is a view that you can see the beach and very comfortable. Thank you for a very nice stay.
